I gotta thank Brandon. People have been telling me for years I should just do crockpot cooking and he became all obsessed with the idea, and then I started liking it and I've started cooking more. Yeah, yeah I know. I never listen.

I STILL CAN'T MAKE A ROAST FOR s**t. WHY IS MAKING A ROAST, THE MOST BASIC OF BASIC ******** COOKING NIGH ON ********' IMPOSSIBLE? TWICE NOW I HAVE MADE ROAST AND IT WAS BLAND AS ********. BUT I MEAN ******** YOU WANT SOME CHICKEN SCAMPI TOSSED IN COOKING SHERRY AND AND s**t? SURE AND IT WILL BE MARVELOUS

LONDON BROIL? BLAND
ROAST WITH TACO SEASONING? BLAND
ROAST I MADE YEARS AGO WRAPPED IN BACON WITH ONIONS? BLAND MEAT/BACON LOST ALL FLAVOR AND TASTED LIKE ONIONS.

WHAT THE ******** KIND OF WIZARD SCIENCE IS COOKING A ROAST?

Also onions are still the ******** antichrist of cooking. I swear when I cook with onions, I taste onions above everything else in the dish. I am literally ******** convinced that people who like onions are (much like people who eat a lot of hot food) completely immune to the flavor so it's not as intense to them. To them the onion accents the other flavors. To me, onions are such an intense flavor and easily overpower a dish if you are not careful.

Anyway I made swedish meatballs the other night and it was good. Never made something like that before.

In a crockpot using recipes I find in a book or online. I don't think I will be making roasts anymore. It's just too depressing to keep spending $18-25 per hunk of meat to ruin over and over again.

We use onion powder to replace fresh onions, and way way way less than what would need to replace onions. Basically if I can taste onion, I've used too much, so why we even use it in the first place is kinda lololol. Maybe so we can say HEY, THERE'S ONION INT HERE. THERE IS THREE WHOLE GRANULES OF ONION POWDER IN THIS RECIPE.
