Cherish led the way to her apartment, walking down the rows of rooms until she came to apartment 64. She pushed her key into the slot and gave the door a bump with her shoulder to budge it from its frame. It seemed to stick a little bit by the looks of it. "Wait outside. I will not be long. It vould not be lady like to invite young men into my home like this." She said, moving into the building to put away her groceries. While she was doing so inside, she picked up a small com device that was used to make very short range calls in the village. Something like a radio. She set it to the emergency channel but instead of talking, she clicked the talk button five times then set the handset down near her sink. Finding hersellf a piece of paper she wrote "restaruants" and slipped that under the receiver before moving back out to meet with the boys.

Lucius waited outside for the girl to return, he sat against the wall once she closed the door and waiting. His hand at his side slowly tapping on his thigh counting?. Maybe it was just his old ways talking to him, but it seemed she took her time dropping her groceries off. He was sure that they knew, I mean guards were already looking for him, they probably caught on the instant his jutsu dropped. Then suddenly another shinobi come along and joins? Did they really think sending in genin would do anything for them? He looked over at Ydar while he waited, he wondered if he knew. Simply because he was already near him when his jutsu dropped. He smiled at him as the girl exited. "So where us this restaurant?"

----- [ T ] he walk had presented Ydar with few opportunities to escape, much as he wished to. The guards were surely after this man, given their rather rapid descent upon the marketplace, and the genin knew their female companion had likewise assumed as much. Traveling here had only bought them a small amount of time, he was certain, for the village was now on high alert, though not in an overbearing away. Bringing panic to the civilians would only give him a better chance of escaping, after all, being lost in a crowd of panicked individuals. Even a sensor wouldn't be able to pick him out of a large mass of souls. Such thoughts brought no negativity, however, for he knew that there was little chance this man was going to start taking prisoners due to the haste his movements showed in heading here. It meant, simply, he was more into avoiding notice than facing resistance head on. -----Could it be that 'Lucius', whatever his real name was, was afraid? -----The concept was a strange one, given the way the male walked. His step was one of silence, his bearing one of someone used to power. That spoke more for the man's abilities than a sensory reading would have, but there was more to it. Each twist, each twitch of the eyes, was guarded: the guise of a hunted man. When in danger, the body automatically assumed a particular set of movements to maximize one's perceptive abilities, and this was something near impossible to eliminate as it was a subconscious decision from the id portion of one's mind. Knowing these things allowed him a bit of a better perception of such things, thankfully. -----Sighing mentally at the entire scenario, Ydarihan watched the female walk into her apartment, her facade reeking of deceit. Without a doubt she was leaving a message, something to point the soldiers their way, but he did not mind. Perhaps he would get credit for it, in the end, though it mattered not. Had he been the one to leave a message he would have become suspect, or at the very least noticed. Above all else that was to be avoided, for it meant he would find himself under someone's watchful eye. Being such a failure meant that even the smallest signs of competency would give rise to hopes he'd rather no one have. And so when she went in, and returned, it was for her to find a quick glance from him before dropping his eyes, cheeks flaming in mock embarrassment. Negativity had no place in his heart as he turned to look at the invader with an easy going smile and an upraised arm. "This way. I would imagine we will arrive within a few minutes if we hurry." A loud grumbling came from his stomach, stimulated by a tightening of muscles and the unsettling image of Lucius naked within his mind, and he put a hand awkwardly to his abdominal region. "I am sorry, but I am quite famished, and would appreciate the haste if it is not too much trouble." -----As long as no one said anything to stop him, Ydar would happily lead the way, wondering when this farce would be at an end.

Soundlessly sleeping in her warm bed laid Kasuna. Wrapped up in three blankets two stuffed animals tucked into both arms, and a large pillow this was just normal day for the child however she was late majorly late for her appointment. A lasting alarm clock finally broke the girl of her slumber. Panicking to find it Kasuna rolled off her bed landing face first into her carpet. With a low groan Her small finger's tapped the clock. "Well good morning Mr. clock. Kasuna would say with child like laughter which stopped immediately once she saw the time. 12 p.m. How and why on earth did she not hear all the buzzing going on. Quickly jumping in the bathroom for a few minutes then running right back into her room throwing her towel airborne. Kasuna dressed with her favorite outfit a black cat hoodie with a tail, along with a yellow scarf tied around her neck. Tying her hair in a loosened pigtails the child snatched her bag off a near by hanger running out the room and into the kitchen. She opened the cabinet to get a piece of bread. Once she had everything Kasuna bolted to the door locking it behind her. Only word neighbor's could hear from this overly hyperactive child was. " I'm late I'm late I'm soo late." as she ran down the road.

----- [ S ] ilence, save for the crunching of his boots upon the fallen foliage that had remained a bit on the drier side. Already the young male could feel his spine stiffening, his steps becoming more firm, precise, more regimented than he would like. Justice Pure was effecting him from all of the combat done that day, despite his use of Ruin to stop that stranger from stealing a headband. It had not been enough darkness, enough destruction, to balance the good he had been doing lately. A ritual was necessary, but that required space he simply didn't have, at least not at that moment, and so Ydar chose a different path than what otherwise would have been chosen, given the rather strange situation he found himself in. Behind, he knew, Kazu and his little sister would be following, whether to ask questions or to cause mischief he simply didn't know. That boy, Kazu, stank of some manner of viciousness, yet it never reached the level of danger that would force him to act. Instead, it merely made him curious as to the truth of this genin. What caused him to be such a dour figure? -----The thought faded from his mind as Ydarihan turned a corner, juking somewhat to the side in an effort to dodge any pursuit. Covering it by "tripping", he flushed in "embarrassment" before moving on, a vapid expression upon his face lest others assume something ulterior. Turning another corner, and another, Ydar made his way towards the complex of apartments that served as home for these Shinobi, large buildings hewn from stone born of the jungle not too long ago and yet already infested with creepvines and other invasive species. Each held an apartment with multiple rooms, most shared by Genin or family members, with only a few individual locations due to space restrictions. As it was, the boy had two members of the village scheduled to live with him, and yet to date had seen hide nor hair of either. This allowed for a more secure living space, except for the cameras and other listening devices Horace had installed to ensure "his" shinobi harbored no ill will towards the goals of the United Hidden Villages. This is why he avoided a straight path, though, for that wasn't his destination: too viewable. -----Instead, Ydar moved passed them, to the side of a rather large outcrop of stone that fed into a hill on the other side -----Reaching the stone, the genin cast his gaze about with concern, dropping the facade for a moment for a brief, concentrated expression as he scanned for anyone watching. Here, this wall had no windows facing it, allowing some semblance of privacy, but that did not mean a spy wasn't nearby, observing in the silence. Yet there came no presence to his mind, and being as certain as he was in his skills, Ydar took this to mean there simply wasn't anyone there. If nothing else, a Justicar had to believe in his own abilities, or else they lost conviction and, therefore, strength. And so, taking one final look, he place a hand upon the stone before him and focused. Stone was a resource made off of millions of years of condensing material, hardening and strengthening over millenia unknown. Concentrating, pulsing out with his physical body, the boy felt for those connections, those binding energies that kept the atoms together. Everything was connected, after all, bound by the Gods to maintain a shape of Their choosing. And so, feeling this energy, these pulsing connections, Ydar pushed forth with his soul. -----And severed it. -----The wall under his touch began to dissolve, turning into sand beneath his feet as the stone returned to its base components. Further and further it went, dissolving with haste, until it exposed a dark, empty cavern within, a door of exactly Ydar's height the only entrance to the complex. Stepping within the wall behind him began to re-knit what had once been Ruined, the power of Salvation restoring the connection he had severed with his Sin. As it restored itself the boy moved further into the inky blackness that was the inside of the hill, reaching out to the sides to feel the grooves he had made a year earlier. Grooves that guided his hands to...There! A soft, white glow slowly spread outwards from the spongy surface he had touched, the light unfolding in a slow ripple that spiraled and wove around the enormous cavern beyond. Fungus, cultivated here outside of the attention of man by insects and other such life to give some semblance of color to the darkness. Once, they had been only in small patches, but with the correct stimulant they grew as none would believe, let alone himself! -----Taking a deep breath, enjoying the scent of moisture and old things that permeated the complex, Ydar cast his gaze upon the ritual circle carved into the stone below, where twelve poles of varying height, width, and density lay stabbed into the earth. Each would appear in the same place as a clock's, marking the ancestral legacy of the futuristic invention into the Earth's flesh. A small smile spread across his face as the paladin moved into the circle, allowing his robes to fall away before crossing the threshold of the exterior circle, leaving nothing but his loin cloth, his chest bindings, and the wraps around his arms and hands. Bare feet patted across the lines, the twin blades of his Master in one hand, the scales of his religion in the other. Placing the scales at the center of the circle, Ydar placed his feet on either side, evenly apart, before holding the two blades in their circular sheathes above his head, their "blades" crossed. -----Staring down at the second type of fungus growing within the complex, one that glows a bright blue, that was embedded unto the groves his cuts had made Ydar took a deep, controlled breath. Eyes closed, mind calm and his spirit off center, he lowered the blades with a sweeping gesture and caught the two tallest, largest poles, one to the twelve position, and one at the six. A deep, bass note reverberated outwards, encapsulated by the cavern's lack of entrance. -----It began.

Shinji opened the door to his apartment with a click, bag being thrown onto a nearby chair before he plopped himself down onto his bed after a short stride. He was covered in small bandages and a few band-aids to cover small cuts. Their fight and escape had been minor at best so he was lucky not to walk away from with worse. There was also the recommendation that would be sent to the kage, whatever that would bring about. For the time being he wanted to unwind a bit rather then go right back to training.
He removed his shirt and tossed it to the laundry hamper, socks and rest of his clothing with it. Changing into a pair of red pajama bottoms he went through his arm stretches on the way to the kitchen. The noise of running water filled the apartment and soon a pot before it was put onto the burner, fire licking the bottom of the pot. Well he was waiting for it to boil he sat at his table, next to his bag, and brought out a blank piece of paper and pen.
There was the question of what he'd train next so he fumbled about with ideas well he waited for his water to boil.

Aves Gran Brevis
Aves staggered toward one of the apartment doors. It was still early for her to be up, but she had something to do. That was, until she overheard talking of people coming back from the chunin exams. Could it have been...? She stopped and her head had wobbled a bit before stopping and hanging down a bit. Her eyes squinted and she appeared to be thinking. It was hard to know what she was really thinking, but it sure looked as though she were thinking.
After some time of thinking, her whole body turned, changing the direction she was standing in as she walked with heavy steps that were done with laziness. Or sleepiness. Something. She wasn't fully awake, you see? It's hard to do things when you wake up too early, isn't it? That's what she was going through. She somehow made it to the apartments and staggered her way to the door. She raised an arm and attempted to knock on the door, but her body went along with it and she hit the door with a loud thump as she bumped her head on the door. Her nose was hit in the process and as she fell to the floor, blood began to pour out and she lay on the floor outside of Shinji's door as she waited for him to open up. 'Made it,' was all she could think at the moment.

It wasn't long at his table before Shinji heard a rather familiar THUMP at his door. Indeed only one person came to mind that would be checking on him this late in the afternoon, though it had to be a touch to early for her to be awake wasn't it? Only one way to find out for sure though.
With yet another stretch he stood up and opened his door which was close by, eyes not immediately finding her before he felt a wet substance on his feet which cause him to look down. Being surprised by what he saw his first instinct was to step back, which because of his feet now covered in the slick substance caused him not to step but fall back right onto his a**.
Thud.
Biting his tongue to avoid a string of curses he crawled over to her and flipped Aves over gently, spotting where the blood had come from.
"Good morning sleepy head"
From the nearby table Shinji grabbed a klenex box and put it next to her before he started to dab away some of the blood carefully. She didn't seem to phased by all of the blood but it was probably because she was still half asleep. Shinji did regret not wearing a shirt though, at least he could take a shower later.

Aves didn't even realize she was bleeding until she felt the tissues on her nose. She smiled slightly at the greeting then proceeded to weakly raise her arm and let her hand wobble as a lazy form of waving while her eyes were still half closed."Hey Shinji. Long time no see," she said with a slightly slower cadence to her voice as she had the sleepy tone. "How'dit go?" she asked, slurring the question into two syllables. Right after asking, she let her hand down. At least she meant to do it gently or normally, but instead she just let it drop and it swiftly hit the floor with a thump. Much like a hand of someone who goes unconscious. She wasn't unconscious though. It was just hard for someone to control their body when not fully awake.
Shinjis mood was lifted just by listening to her tired voice, lips spreading into a small smile as he watched her arm thud back down. Carefully he'd lift her up, not very difficult for someone so light, and place her on the nearby chair before he answered after sitting down beside her.
"It was interesting. The exams were a bit of a mess, maybe on purpose maybe not. First we had to actually find where it took place, then once we got there it didn't take long before our scheduled fights were interupted and the island we were on started to sink
Everyone made it off safely which was good and I didn't get any serious injuries"
The entire story was a bit of a mess, much like the exams. Though that all could have been on purpose of course. Ninjas were notorious for undercover work. Still he had a good time of it regardless of the mess.
"Got plenty of training in though. How have you been by the way? I missed you well I was on the trail, no one else from sound showed up to the exams"

"Hmmmmm?" she hummed inquisitively at Shinji's story. "The island was sinking?" she asked. Aves raised a hand and rubbed her eye. "How did that happen?" she tried to ask before yawning, but failed as it happened mid-question. She seemed a bit more awake now as she took in the rest of what Shinji mentioned. The whole thing seemed strange, but most strange was the island sinking. It was too early to go overthinking this kind of thing. She moved her hand from her eye and shook the thoughts from her head. "At least you're okay." she mumbled to herself with a small smile. "I've been alright." she replied. "Tried to wake up earlier a few times, but fumbled here and there as you may have noticed," she added with a small chuckle of sheepishness.

Shinji only realized now how vague his story was. The explanation would have been even odder though. One moment he was fighting, the next there were icy mosquitoes flying about the air and they were running as the island sank. That actually was REALLY odd now that he thought about it. So much so that it was enough to put him off reiterating the story for her.
Well the story danced across the mind the familiar sound of bubbling caught his attention and shifted his gaze. A new idea snapped into his mind and he stood up and went over to the cupboard.
"You must be hungry, seeing as its breakfast. For you. Kinda. Want some ramen with chicken?"
He didn't quite wait for an answer as he was already planning to eat a lot, tossing a large wad of noodles into the water well throwing a pan onto the burner next to it. Reaching into his fridge he withdrew some chicken that had been prepared in advance and put it on the counter before he retrieved a fork and stirred the noodles apart.
"After we get some food we should head out to town. Been away for to long. I can piggy back you even to get in a bit of training if you're still half asleep" Shinji said glancing over his shoulder with a bright smile.

The mere mention of food caught Aves's attention to where she turned her head for a moment with a dopey grin on her face. "Su~re," she replied quietly. Whether or not her answer was heard, it appeared she might get food anyway. It probably was time for breakfast. She did wake up not too long ago, and this would count as her first meal. It was odd how people associated meals with the time of day. Breakfast could really be at any time of the day since it would be the time one would 'break' the fast between the last meal of the day before and the first meal of the day, but it was always said to be a morning thing. So strange.
Returning to the situation at hand, it appeared Shinji suggested to go into town. A fine idea. Even offering to carry her if she still felt sleepy. Oh how nice! Hey wai-wait. Hold the phone. Carry her to get training? Was she heavy? Perhaps troublesome to carry? An odd thing to say, but he probably meant well. That smile shows a good gesture. We'll let that slide. Aves smiled back at Shinji and replied, "That sounds wonderful."

Shinji nodded and went back to cooking. It didn't take long before he had an entire meal prepared for them served and ready, placing a steaming bowl of ramen and chicken in front of her that was cooling off. Shinji was a bit impatient, as usual, and ate a bit before he should but the minor pain was worth the taste.
When it came to eating Shinji was his normal self. That was he ate very quickly, almost shockingly fast for someone of his frame. Though that could make sense considering he was basically a body builder, or maybe he just missed his food from home and was particularly keen. By the time he was done scarfing his meal he finally had a chance to take a big breath in. "You know I should probably talk to the kage about that recommendation.....eventually. The organizers said all of us would get recommendations to advance to chunin but I don't know if that struck a cord or not with him.
Ah well. I can get around to it after I'm done enjoying the night with you" he said with a chuckle.
