As Yolen released Liam's embrace he thanked him for his kid words. The two of then had been through a lot together, Yolen remembered when they first met when Liam was a new tamer with so many questions. He remembered when the young man had tried to raise his spirits, while Yolen was busy drinking them, after the death of a close friend. Slowly but surely Yolen watched the Tamer evolve into a leader. That was the reason He and Lira had recommended Liam become a DRF officer. This turned out to be one of the best and worst situations that could have happened.
As an officer Liam was a great asset. He was a hood leader and made rational decisions. Yolen however regretted bringing Liam and the other new young officers into the fold. They were forced to endure things thay no one should have to and it was only because of him that they were there. Some of them were even minipulated by the DRF, in the attempts to do the jobs they were brought on to do that didn't even realize they were being lied to. Some of the Tamers had joined the protectors but even more had stayed behind having no reason to their knowledge to not trust the orginization. Knowing their actions were not entirely their own Yolen had pushed for forgiveness for the DRF members among the Tamers and Digimon. Some of them had even joined the UCPA and the council. Despite his efforts they were not fully accepted by those who had been on the opposing side.
Snapping out of thoughts of the past Yolen glanced around with his good eye at the present. Liam and a few others were there, but he was still missing some of his best officers. He just hoped they were ok. The mission should not have taken them this long.
Suddenly a UCPA recruit flew into the room and made a beeline for Yolen. "Chief Yolen....a report from Vice-Chief Lira." Yolen's ears perked up, it had been almost a month since he had heard from Lira. She had been off investigating the DRF ruins and contact had gone stagnate. "Yes.. go ahead, what is it?!" The young Tamer nerviously continued, "Vice-Chief Lira has reported the locations she believes to have vital information on the DRF lab. She has requested the assistance of all Tamers and it seems a few including officers have already undertaken her request." With his report delivered the Tamer saluted, turned and exited the room.
Yolen returned the salute and scratches his chin, "Well that would explain why we are missing a few... why would she do this now, she knows we are having this meeting....infact she was suppose to be here....just like her to forget something, but i guess if it's to protect this world then it can be forgiven." He realized he had said this a bit louder than intended and now the room was looking at him. Yolen realized he need to recover, " Right... well sorry folks, it looks lile the meeting will be delayed... sorry we will get going just as soon as we can" or at least the Chief hoped. He knew the Tamers should have no problem with this task.

"Esteemed Members of the council, we humbly welcome you to our new meeting hall and hope that all accommodations that are needed have been met. You are each ambassadors for your respective families and I can only hope that though this meeting and ones to follow a peace can be maintained in this land." Yolen was weary of his words. These were Digimon from families who did not get along and some of the families don't even like that the humans are involved with this at all. He continued trying not to show he was nervous. "As you know it has been 3 months since we began working on fixing the problems that we allowed to plague this world and now we are moving onto the next phase of openness and communication between all humans and Digimon."
"First let me start with what we have promised. We promise to do not harm to humans or Digimon. To only fight in self-defense or in protection for others. We promise to build a new world where all feel safe and free to do as they wish within the constraints of the agreement." Yolen stopped to gauge the reaction, but it was hard to see though most of their masks. "At this time I would like to open the floor to any questions or concerns" He knew this could end badly but the conversation had to start somewhere.
Some of the families like the wind Guardians and Nature Spirits had welcomed the humans with open arms but the others had varying levels of displeasure with their presence. These feeling began to express themselves as the conversations between the eight Mega level Digimon and the Human members of the Grand Council began their "discussion". The Virus Buster, who believed themselves to be better than the other families believed there was no need for human involvement in Digimon affairs and that the Celestial Digimon were fully capable of making any necessary decision for the land. The Metal Empire had less of an opinion but just requested that Humans stayed away from their hidden city.
The Deep Savers, being a mostly aquatic family lived deep within the ocean and while they were mostly open to working together it was warned that King Whamon did not take kindly to uninvited guests. Jungle Troopers were very warrior and tradition minded but were willing to peacefully coexist with the humans until someone crosses a line. The real trouble came from the two groups that had no interest in seeing eye to eye. The Nightmare Soldiers and Dragons Roar had long been enemies and just the thought of putting their wars aside was enough to set them off at each other. Hi Andromon held back his friend WarGreymon from attacking the fox-faced woman after her snide comment of Dragon brain sizes.
This was the situation Yolen had to deal with, it's what the DRF and Yaggidrasil had left him with. In all reality none of the Digimon trusted the humans but thanks to Yolen and his Captains relations were slowly forming. Although not on board yet the Captains had meet with the rulers of the VB and DR each of which were a group of Titled Digimon of immense power. They had also met with King Whamon of the DS, Valdurmon of the WG and ElDradimon who carries the JT nomadic city on his back.
Both ME and NSo have not allowed the Tamers to enter their realms but agreed to sent ambassadors to the meeting. Then there was the NSp who were still in the midst of electing a new leader after SaberLeomon was felled during the Fall of the DRF. Beyond that there were rumors that the Royal Knights, Demon Lords and Olympic XII all were watching for a glimmer of weakness to remove the Humans from the World. Even some smaller factions had broken off from their main families and had formed their own roaming groups.
Yolen knew this was a great first step but it was going to be a long road. Luckily he had an idea on how to get things moving in the right direction. "If I may take the floor again, I have an idea to help us build toward unity. In our World every 2 years the greatest Humans from around the world gather in one location to compete for the glory of their country. I am proposing that we do something similar here. Construction is already finished on a location for the competitors to live in during the contest and their are places for them to train and eat as well. There will be twelve events to compete in and we want you to send your best Digimon to prove their worth. Additionally we would also like to prove our worth as Tamers to you. We are currently having Tamers sign up who would like to also compete in the games. I would like you too chose Tamers to also represent your Families so we can increase our unity as a whole. The whole event will be called The Digimon Olympics!! Now who wants to prove their family is the best?"
As he finished a roar erupted from the ambassadors, the idea of competing against the other families had fired them up! Each wanting to bring glory to their family. "Opening Ceremony will be at the beginning of the next month, so be back with your champions by then." Yolen dismissed the meeting and handed each of the ambassadors a list of registered Tamers on their way out. He caught up with Liam as they were leaving, "Well here we go, let's see if this idea works or causes more chaos." The two friends exited the room and headed to the Olympic Village to check out the new shops and quarters.
Lief and his team passed through the large gates that marked the entrance to Unity city. A pair of Angelic Digimon carved out of marble stood guard atop massive pillars on either side of the wide open doors. It had been a while since they had been around any civilization. After mysteriously returning to the Digital World Lief and his partners had spent time recovering with Swanmon and then training in the woods for the last few years. Finally they felt they were back up to full power. They had returned to the city to offer their services.
A pub sat nestled between an inn and shop along the right hand side of the street. Lief decided that would be a good place to collect info on the city and, due to everyone's growling stomachs, a great place for a bite to eat.
Upon entering the establishment the familiar aromas of beer and bar food filled the air. It wasn't too crowded, probably due to the decrease in population of the Digital world after the scandal of the DRF. Surley the bar keep would have some info for him.
Lief tossed a few bits onto the counter and addressed the man cleaning a glass behind the counter. "Afternoon, I'll take a pint of your best and any info you have on the city... in a non tourism capacity....let's say im looking for work" The man nodded, grabbed thr coins and proceeded to make Lief a drink. " Well if you are looking for just steady work, there are a few businesses around town, Boxing Bros on the East side might be looking for help. If you are looking for something a little on the shady side I would check 7th street on Thursday nights, there might be someone there who knows something. If you are looking to help out then the UCPA would ve the best place to go, I know they are always looking for more help and you look like a guy who can handle himself. I would check with Liam, tell him Robin sent you."
Lief thanked the man for the info and for the drink and turned back to his partners. He had met Liam once, Biyomon had traveled with him in the past and he had definatly played a major hand in Lief's return from darkness. That may not be a bad place to start, he decided they would head to the UCPA after a bite to eat and maybe a nap in the inn. He order some food, found a booth and began to listen to the conversations around him.

Feel refreshed and satisfied Lief decided it was time to go track down Liam. The UCPA HQ should be the best place to start. "I wonder if he'll remember me, we only met for a short time and he honestly has no reason to trust me outside of Gabumon's word." Lief had never been to this city but last time he was in this Domain he had just been freed of the virus that he spent so many years being controlled by. Liam was part of the team who rescued him and also returned a few of his Digimon to him. He owed the Captain a lot.
Lief was amazed by the progress this city that had only been in existence for a few short years. Businesses everywhere you looked run by humans and Digimon alike, high-rises and beautiful park dotted the landscape as the city stove to combine the best if all worlds. This is want New Network City should have been but the demon virus inside of Lief had had other plans. Those plans involved enslaving Digimon and using unknowing Tamers to accomplish this goal. Had the succeeded there would have been a massive war between the humans and Diginon. The virus had underestimated the Humans and their Digimon partners and ultimately failed.
Lief stopped in front of the new UC Guild building, it want quite open yet but he could tell they wer putting thier finishing touches on it. Before he had left to recover and train he recalled the Captains speaking of a place where Digimon and Tamers work towards common goals of protecting the Digital World, exploring its reaches and studying the bond between the two. The Tamer knew he would like ti help with that process if they would let him, afterall in the old world he was the VC of the legendary Gold Hawks!
Finally he had reached the UCPA HQ. Aside for protecting UC and the Digital World this agency had function as a governing body until the recent formation of the Grand Council made of both Digimon Family leaders and high ranking Tamers. This is where he would probably find Liam.
As he walked in the door he was surprised to find the waiting room full with Digimon and Tamers. He turned to the nearest one and asked, "What's going on??" the man was a bit startled but handed Lief a flyer. The paper stated that UC was looking for strong Tamers to fill the ranks of the soon to be Guilds.For now there would be two guilds and all applicants would be tested and divided into the guilds, you could request a guild but there would be no guarantee. It also mentioned they would be picking people to lead the guilds as well! This was exciting Lief might not need to find Liam right now afterall, this was basically what he had come here for.

A Brown haired Tamer who seemed as if he always popped up in the Digital World during certain points of times always being similar to his last appearence was sitting down in the corner looking at his Digivice. The male held very little Prescense and didn't stand out amoung this large crowd of people, nor would he really want too. He didn't entirely trust this new Organization, similar to how he was a bit paranoid about the DRF from before especially with the selection of 'Lead' tamers that they had placed in charge of some of the Recruits when he first 'Joined' them as a 'new' Tamer.Remembering that man getting killed so easily and having tried to run away like a coward stuck with him during his involvement with that Company.
This Event had caused him to not entirely Delve into much when it came to Missions with that Originazation and instead devoted a Majority of his time to his Digimon and befriending those living in the Digital World as if searching out things from his past or beings that he felt...connected to in some way. The only times he got involved was when his friends needed help or when he didn't really have much choice like when he was suddenly dragged into what he could only assume was the past and ended up having to rely on his Physical strength and skills with a Ocarina to do battle with hordes of enemies. Honestly, he felt like that was something he should have forgotten about. Shaking his head he let out a sigh before looking to the Group that had arrived in here, one of them stood out to him being someone that he recognized from the past. He didn't actually remember having any dealings or even much of saying words to the redhead, so he wasn't going to stay anything to him. But, it was good to see....a somewhat familar face. His gaze moved from the face up to the Ceiling as he let his mind Wander back to the past, it felt like it had only been a few days for him, perhaps it was because he had never left the Digital World after the events with the DRF due to what happened during it. His hand moved to over his chest, as he his brain started to get flashes about things that happened like they still haunted him.
Memories Just Because
The First flash that appeared in his brain, was of the Battle with the DRF. Him Fighting alongside his partner Hiro in his WarGreymonX form fighting against a Tamer using one of the Original Digivices before the DRF put Restrictions on them. Infront of the two Fighters was about 9 Digimon that held Black Gears within them to...enhance their powers. The Group that Ethan had been fighting alongside of was some of the Olympus 12, a Marsmon and a Merukimon. (Marsmon,Merukimon,WarGreymonX, Rhihimon((Ethan)) fighting against Black MegaGargomon,Chimeramon, MetalEtemon, Justimon,SuperStarmon, two Growlmon, Myotismon and a Matadormon. ) The battle that ensued was a Harsh one, and if the two didnt have help from the two olympians they probably would have perished shortly after the fight started thanks to the limitations that the Digivice he was using held. After defeating three of the 9 Digimon (The Two Growlmon had the Gears broken by pinpoint attacks of Rhihimon, and the Metal Etemon was deleted and turned into a Digitama by Hiro) the Matadormon forcefully absorbed the Data of the Metal Etemon and then followed by absorbing the Superstarmon to turn into a Grand Dracumon(it also Merged with the Tamer, but he didnt notice it at the time). And immediatly let out a blast that forced the fused Spirit Digimon back into his tamer form and knocked WarGreymon X away. Marsmon had just beaten down a Chimeramon and Merukimon was in a High Speed battle dodging the Rockets of the Mega Gargomon and dealing with Justimon in his Speed Mode.
The Two Olympians noticed the Dark digimon that was said to be stronger than even the Seven Demon Lords had appeared. They nodded to each other and decided to quickly end the fight they were having by switching opponents, Merukimon quickly drew his knife and cut down the chimera mon while Marsmon merely obliterated the Justimon and dealt with the Mega Gargomon by punching into the two Missles causing them to implode on themselves. They ensured their Data wouldnt be absorbed and turned back to the Devil. Only to watch as WarGreymon X charged it and a losing battle began, they hesitated to intervene into the fight until it unleashed such a powerful attack that the Digimon had to protect its Tamer only to be forced back into its Agumon X state. Ethan moved to protect Hiro, who was now weakly trying to stand. The Flash ended only to swap to a scene of the two Olympians on the grown their Data leaking from them, bits of the Data forced their Way into Ethans D-Tector breaking a bit of the restricting code on it. Before they too vanished, Hiro was nowhere to be seen and the Tamer was looking as if all hope was lost. When 2 of his Digimon forced their way free of his D-Tector and told him he would hold it off and to run, Ethan being stubborn refused to do so. And watched as it chuckled at him and charged forward and began to fight as well. The Fellow Tamers that had came with him had already beaten their enemies, well a few of them had, the others..were in a losing battle of their own.... (ChaosGallantmon and MirageGaogomon)
The Flashes got blurry, only showing flashes of the Two Digimon Fighting and seemingly getting the Upperhand, only for another flash to show them nearly being defeated. Ethan falling onto his knees, not wanting to lose any more comrades or friends since he had watched the Olympians and almost lost Hiro quickly felt something stirring inside of his heart, like two hearts beating and fighting against each other and then a stabbing pain as he began to panic. His mind was brought out of this Panic by his Two Digimon falling to his side, looking as if they were about to be Erased as the GranDracmon because to charge up its mouths to unleash a devasting attack. Something inside him broke seeing his partners about to be erased, and he felt his Digi-Vice fall from his hands. Before the Memory ended. Like he didnt want to remember what else happened. )
The brown haired male looked to the Digivice that was on his Wrist, and hovered his hand over it seeing a bit of code leave his fingers into it as he moved through the Digimon that was being protected inside of it along with the Spirit Items that he had gained throughout the past few years in the Digital World. Some of them he wasnt capable of using just yet do to a few hiccups with the DNA/Data his body was composed of. Taking a breath he stopped at the Bio-Hybrid Section on it. Taking a breath he looked at the group of people again, he was starting to get anxious and lowering his hands he pushed himself up off the floor. He felt like it was time to leave this building and pulled his Goggles over his eyes.

"I know, I know, we need this thing up and running as soon as possible. The treats are growing and we've been under staffed for months. Not to mention if we can't keep the peace these Digi-families are going to be at eachothers' throats by the New Year!" Liam passed as he listened to the party on the other end of the phone call, "No Sir....Yes Sir, it'll be done today. Ok, we will see you then." Liam hung up thr phone emphatically, Yolen was really starting to get demanding. He tried to cut him a break knowing what pressure he must be up against but it was hard to calm down. It's not like Liam didn't know what it was like running a company or something, he had done that for a few years in the real world.
The Vice Captain of the UCPA took a deep breath. It was time to go, time to see who responded to the call. He pushed his chair back and stood to his feet, thinking about the undertaking they would begin in the next few days. Tamers, some with no training, would be taking up the defence and discovery of the Digital World and it would be his job to lead the team that would teach them what they needed to know. With those thoughts running through is mind he grabbed his coat and Digivice and headed for the front Hall where the Tamers were waiting.
As he rounded the corner he could see a large crowd, far larger than he had anticipated! He could make out face he knew from the past among new faces thag he was surley about to meet. He stood listening to the crowd murmur as his assistant gestured toward the podium. "Guess it's time." He whispered under his breath as he stepped up to the microphone. "Good afternoon Tamers," he paused to let the conversations die down, "Welcome to the UCPA headquarters. For those of you who don't know I am Vice Captain Liam Crones and I have been tasked with the UCPA Guild initiative. At this time we will be forming two guilds that will focus on the things that are harder for just the UCPA to do, namely Defence and Discovery. We are the central agency here but most of our work focuses on the city itself. So the guilds are being formed to take on tasks we are unable to devote manpower to."
As Liam stopped to survey the crowd he noticed the solution to one of their remaining problems. "Now you may be saying to yourself that you are not prepared for this challenge, but don't worry, we will be training you to be ready for what you might encounter. I will be leading and training one of the guilds for now and the other guild will be run by someone who has experience with guilds and has spent years in the Digital World. Please give a warm welcome to the former Vice Captain of the Gold Hawks Lief Pyrex!!" Liam stepped away from the podium and began clapping while indicating for Lief to come up and join him. This hadn't been planned but it was an issue they had been trying to solve and Liam believed Yolen would agree with his decision. Lief had been there in the old world and had been through more than most people. He was experienced and strong, plus his bond with his Digimon was so strong that some of then joined Liam's team, eventually leading him to Lief and the curse he was trapped in. Lief would be a great addition to the team as long as he didn't make a big fuss about it.
Ah there was just the man Lief was looking for, Liam the Vice Captain of UCPA. He had come to see if he could help in any way but figured he might as well stop and have a listen to what Liam had to say. As he listen he heard mention about guilds which took him back to the old Digital World, back when he and Marcus ran the Gold Hawks!! Those were the simple days...well that is until he was attacked by the virus causing everyone to think he was dead and then tried to take over the Digital World... but other than that, good times.
Liam continued to ramble on, Lief was hardley paying attention until he mention someone coming up who was involved with Guilds before. His head raced as he waited for who it would be. Marcus? Maybe one of the other guild leaders. Then he heard it and he though he was going to pass out. He had said Lief's name!!! What the heck, how could this be, no one had even asked. I mean helping was why he was here, but seriously? It would probably be awkward if he didn't head up there.
Lief took a deep break and made his way through the crowd toward Liam's podium. What was he suppose to say? He had not even spoken to Liam in over a year. And what if people recognized him from the DRF?? That would be hard to explain!
As he reached the front he grasped Liam's outstretched hand and shook it. Liam was moutjing what appeared to be "sorry" as Lief turned toward the crowd. He haddn't been in front of this many people in a while, he could tell he was a bit in shock and had not as of yet been able to utter any words. He started to panic, he knew that this was not a good look for the leader of a guild, but he was still processing.
He felt Liam's hand on his shoulder and finally he was able to get a few word out of his mouth, "Tha..thank you Liam and the UCPA for this op..opportunity. I will do..do my best to be worthy of the post." With those words out he gave a slight nod of his head and a subtle wave of his hand and stepped back off the podium where he found a chair to sit in.

As Lief exited the stage Liam turned back to the crowd, "Right so now that that is worked out we can talk about what we will be doing and the process to sign up!" As he spoke these words two UCPA officers with clipboards moved infront of the podium. "These fine officers here have the registration list for the two guilds, for now all we need to know is which guuld you would like to join, either mine of Lief's and if you could show us your tamer card so we can add your information in that would be great. Once you are trained you will recieve a guild emblem for your card."
The Tamers began forming lines even as he was still talking, "Also let it be known that we will be looking for potential officers and leaders over the next few weeks, so if you might be interested please mention that as well. The goal is for me to be able to return to my UCPA duties. So if you would form lines and speak with the officers we can move on to training!"
Liam stepped off the podium to speak to Lief, "Hey Lief, how's it going? Sorry for putting you on the spot like that. We had been trying to solve the issue of Captains for a while. I knew I would be leading a group for now and as soon as I saw you im the crowd I remembered Tuocs...I mean Scout's stories of yall in the past. I know this will be something you can do. If it becomes too much though just let me know." He took a seat next to the grey haired tamer as the waited for their new recruits to be processed.
We are starting the process of adding the rp guilds into the story. Thise will be initiated by a RP event with great prizes. To enter the RP event you must have registered you profile and join a guild.
To join a guild just make a post responding to the previous posts and have your character present their rp card and state which Captain they would like to follow. Depending on sign up some people may be asked to switch guilds. I will be flushing out their team names and what they stand for over the next few days as the tamers are in training so if at any point you think you would like to switch guilds let me know.
The Event will start probably Thanksgiving day so don't delay, the prizes are participation based.
The Brown haired Tamer wanted to leave, he wanted to escape from all of these people. Crowds were not a good thing for him, and despite the fact he was trying to squeeze his way out he was being pushed back into the group. An expression formed on his face that clearly said he would fight his way out if he needed to, and was just about to try and climb over people when a certain red haired male finally began to talk over the crowd. It was Liam, he hadnt seen the man in a long time and doubted he remembered him since...well it truly had been a while. Letting out a sigh he turned his head to listen to his Speech, but couldnt help but raise a eyebrow feeling as if this is similar to what the DRF tried to do. Albeit a bit better in most cases. Crossing his arms, he watched him and waited wondering where his speech was going.
'Well, it looks like he is making a good decision with who will be in charge of the groups although Im not sure if people would appreciate a certain person if they knew about the past. But then again, he wasn't in his right mind after all. I...dont really want to join one of these teams, I'd rather just go back and live with the Digimon Families like I had been doing....'
His thoughts were cut off however, when Liam took over again. Lief had barely been able to get anything said word wise, he must have been nervouse. Maybe Liam hadn't told him this was going to happen, if so that was a pretty harsh thing to do and betted that Liam was going to get a Earful at a later date regarding such a thing. Ethan was going to escape the moment he saw a chance to do so, but noticed that the Exits seemed to be...well blocked by the lines that had formed. He put a hand onto his forehead, and let out a annoyed groan before turning his attention to them.
A slight voice in his head told him that this was for the best, he couldn't stay with the Digimon forever and meeting back up with old friends could become a reality if he actually joined these groups and made a Point of seeing them out. But another voice began to talk about how he had a bad feeling about all this, and knew that his wretched luck might cause a problem for everyone. He gazed back down at his Digi-Vice on his wrist and shook his head before getting in one of the lines, he wasnt sure which but had his arms crossed the entire time. Although, he was a bit confused about what this Tamer Card thing was. Was it that thing the DRF gave him that he lost in the Dark Ocean? Or was it something else he was supposed to have been given on Returning here...since he didnt leave maybe thats why he didnt have it? It didnt matter which Team he was in, so hed join whichever needed him. Too bad he couldnt Join and Help out Both. That way he wouldnt feel bad.
