 Beyond these boarders, were most of her shipmates, and beyond these boarders, her parents might be there. She knew she couldn't find them in the shambles of their pride, and Kowa, her brother left her to follow what the seer told them on their raid. His life chose a different path and when she was to set out, he had already left- and that was what got her to the boarders. The smelly vikings, had all her brotherin and sisters of the pride make their way here? After they despised them so much? She couldn't tell which way or the other, but she knew that the desire to be with her pride mates had been too strong, and without them, she felt lost and alone.
The memories that lead up to this moment shook her, and her claws flared out.
"I am ready to try." She spoke up to those waiting for the challenges on the boarders.

"You are, are you?"
Bjorn approached, his renewed confidence flashing about in eyes that were lit up. He'd nearly made a dire mistake and he was thankful for the outcome. Now he could go about completing his regular tasks and among them was facing those who approached the borders. The lioness that approached appeared to have a fire in her belly and an attitude that could rock a few waves.
So when he spoke to her he matched her ferociousness, anger and turmoil. All of which could compare to a time before this moment, one he wouldn't let swallow him whole again.
"You would challenge for entry?"
He smiled largely, either way - win or lose - he was empowered to be out and achieving again.
