- 🙗 DAREDEVIL An adventurer and free-spirit, he's always willing to jump in and get his hands dirty. He has a bad habit of leaping before he looks, though. And it's always hard to say no to a good dare or bet.
🙗 AMBITIOUS He's driven to be the very best at whatever he does; unfortunately, what he wants isn't usually ideal. He doesn't want to be the leader or the boss, but he does want to reap all the benefits without having to put in the work. He wants to make connections to make it easier for him to do what he wants: have fun.
🙗 CURIOUS Roman is always open to trying new things. He loves to learn, but better then that, he loves applying that knowledge to test new ways to blow stuff up and break stuff down. He loves science, for that reason. And has been known to break open electronics to see how everything works.
🙗 OPTIMISTIC Roman always tries to look on the bright side of things. Life should be enjoyed, and he tries to live it to the fullest. Which means making friends and helping people, (it's just icing on the cake if it can benefit him too.)
🙗 DETERMINED Though not in his best interest, he's too stubborn and too arrogant to give up. He doesn't back down from a challenge and he works hard to strive for what he has and what he wants.
🙗 SELF-PRESERVING Versatile, he's always open to taking advantage of the situation at hand. Even if it means saying nothing and taking a step back to let someone else take the blame, or try to find a scapegoat. (It doesn't always work, he tries to be honest, for the most part, but covering his arse is more important.)

- CHILDHOOD Roman had a relatively normal life. His father, Ezra, an electrician, is a muggle who married a squib accountant, Maisie, so he grew up predominantly in the muggle world, engrossed in video games, comic books, and Hollywood movies. His mother faithfully kept to the Statute of Secrecy, until the day Roman's magic suddenly sparked. It was months after Roman's seventh birthday. The boy had transfigured his chimpanzee stuffed animal into an actual chimp. Ezra nearly had a heart attack. After a brief panic and severe meltdown, Maisie was lucky to get in contact with her sister before any terrible damage had been done. (A few broken toys, a lamp, and broken bedside tables were lost; it could have been much worse.) But now that the cat was out of the bag, Maisie and her sister, Lana, sat Ezra down to explain the magical world she had once been a part of, and that their son would now be joining on his eleventh birthday. Ezra didn't take it well, to say the least. It was the first big fight Roman had ever remembered his parents having (they were quite good at keeping any major arguments away from him.) But this was too big to hide. Lana insisted on staying for the next few weeks, just in case any more accidental magic happened around Roman.
In time, Ezra was less fearful of magic and more and more curious. Though he eased into it slowly. Roman was excited to hear that the bedtime stories his mother had told him were actually true, and wanted to learn as much as he could. Unfortunately, his aunt would eventually return to her own home and career as a potioneer, but she visited often and any time she came it was like Christmas Eve all over again. For the next several years, Roman balanced muggle schools and sports and learning about the magical world; Aunt Lana would always bring him new books and toys to play with (his favorite is the exploding snap cards.) He's also been keen on learning about his mother's side of the family that had always been kept a mystery. He knew his mother's parents' had passed away but never had any details. Now he was learning they were accomplished potioneers, just like his aunt, and so much more. Overall, his birthday's are the best, it's one year closer to magic school and Aunt Lana always brings the best presents (much to Ezra and Maisie's annoyance.) His eleventh birthday was the best of course, it started with a party at the go-kart races, and ended with a dark tawny owl delivering his school letter. His mother, father, and Aunt Lana all accompanied him to Diagon Alley for his first shopping trip. Roman bounced and wanted to touch everything, Ezra was trying not to look enthralled by every trinket and oddity, Maisie was grinning from ear to ear watching her two boys', and Lana was trying not to giggle and tease each and every one of them.
SCHOOL YEARS
- 2036-'37 FIRST YEAR Such a weird school with even weirder professors. Roman made friends with a fellow Gryffindor, Myron. Had a bit of a panic attack during the first few lessons of flying until he finally got the hang of it. (He's not afraid of heights so much now as he is falling.)
2037-'38 SECOND YEAR As normal as any magical school could be, Roman hung out with his fellow Gryffindors and kept up with his studies. He attended most of the quidditch games (except for when he caught that cold for a whole week) and resolved to try out for the team next year.
2038-'39 THIRD YEAR He did not try out for the team. He thought about it, he really did. But that was too little too late, he had spent the entire day of try-outs lost somewhere deep in the corridors of the castle. He did a lot of exploring this year but never found much more than older students snogging in broom closets or that one time he stumbled on Peeves.
2039-'40 FOURTH YEAR Unfortunately, Roman came down with a case of Black Cat Flu and spent most of the year in the Hospital Wing. But he managed to keep up with his studies all the while.
2040-'41 FIFTH YEAR Roman had another dull year of studying and cramming for exams. The few exceptions were the rare occasions he could hang out with his mates, that and quidditch matches and trips to Hogsmeade.
2041-'42 SIXTH YEAR Roman went and nagged himself a girlfriend, well, almost. They flirted all through the year, snogged a couple times but when it came down to it, another bloke asked her on a date, she said yes, and he was left kicking himself for not asking her out sooner.
2042-'43 SEVENTH YEAR Stressful as it was, Roman managed to have a bit of fun in his final year. He went to a small party at Hogsmeade, attended all of the quidditch matches, and chatted with his friends in between all the studying. He was sad to be done with this part of his life but excited to start a new chapter in his life.
POST GRADUATION Roman lacked the savings for his own place, so he moved back in with his parents and set his efforts out on getting a job at a Gringotts as a Cursebreaker.
