In light of some recent events, I thought it might be fun to see where the shinobi of my village stand as far as morality goes. This quiz is a little on the long side, but shouldn't take more than maybe five minutes to fill out, and it doesn't impact anything in character. Thinking from your character's point of view, answer each multiple choice question with one of the provided letter [A-D] responses, except for the first and last questions. If nothing fits what the character would do, or doesn't apply to the character, choose the closest option or what the character would do in such a scenario. Answers filled with something other than the letter response, except for the two fill-in questions. will be chosen for you by me, based on what I've seen from that character.

The more people that post their responses, the better a reward you'll receive! However, this is in no way required. I'll hand out rewards on February 1. =)

1. Soraru is a compulsive liar out of necessity, constantly avoiding the truth to protect others, but mostly himself. While not greedy, he despises the destiny he was born with, and is desperate to escape it and carve his own path, even if it spits in the face of things such as responsibility or family honor. Although he'd rather keep his distance from everyone while enjoying what life has to offer, he's still a growing boy, and sometimes can't escape the bonds that come with that. He's a good person who was born into a situation he didn't want to follow through with.

2. B. Seek a compromise with them?

3. C. Only if I was certain I'd be able to return to my career soon.

4. A. Yes, without a twinge of guilt.

5. C. They're often out of touch with my life.

6. D Flee?

7. A. Speak to him, but hold your ground?

12. C. No, although it's sure nice to be repaid.

13. C. No, I move around too much.

14. A. Yes, the needs of the community are my top priority.

15. B. Defend the area with the rest of your community?

35. C. The secure job, unless the other job was outrageously lucrative.

36. C. Following a long-term plan that incorporates a comfortable level of risk.

37. C. You can bet I'd be renegotiating.

38. Nope. I answered this honestly as Soraru would. I do, if anything, have a better view on his ideas regarding money though. Given the life he was born into and the choices he's made on the way, along with his personality, money isn't too important to him. He figures whatever he earns, he keeps, with any giving to the less fortunate or donating elsewhere being purely random and situational. All in all though, he wouldn't sell out anyone or do anything that breaks loyalty, because he doesn't care for money as a necessity, but instead a luxury.

Liori!

1. Before looking at the actual test questions, in a couple of sentences, describe your character's personality.
Liori is a short fused tsundere. Quick to anger as self defense measure, doing her best to push others away. Shes crude, brash, and unfiltered most of the time with rare exceptions being people she respects or care for. She puts the one family member she has left first above all others. Underneath her hard shell is a frail person who secretly just wants to be loved, but thinks letting people in will just end with her being hurt. Thus the rude Liori most people know.

Not really, just realized how many caveats there are with how she would answer. She doesn't have just one right answer. Context is key.

1. Before looking at the actual test questions, in a couple of sentences, describe your character's personality.
Kaileer would give his life for another person in a heartbeat. Although he is stubborn and hot-headed, he has a heart of gold and will stand up for anyone he believes is being treated unjustly, leading to his frequently short temper. On a more personal level, although he can be a little selfish when it comes to money or personal belongings, and he tends to act in a brooding manner, he's just young man who's easy to embarrass and will help in any way that he can.

A lot of questions were very situational without much context. I think the only thing I did really learn about Kaileer though is that he'll make sure he can stand on his own two feet before tries to help someone else, even if he's only barely standing.

1: Kokuei is a Nara male, who is rarely passionate, but is more passionate than other nara's (if that makes sense), he is very loyal, and would seek to do most anything to help his village. He's a manipulative little s**t if he wants to be, and when he thinks it will benefit him or the village. He is lazy for the most part, but he does like training if it means he will be able to impress the higher ups so he can advance a little better, and a little faster. He is not as clan focused as others might be, partially due to the fact that his father left the part of the clan they were from in the hidden leaf, and as such he has no real ties to the clan as a whole. Once you have his loyalty and/or are his friend, he will do all he can to aid you

2: B. Seek a compromise with them?

3:C. Only if I was certain I'd be able to return to my career soon.

1: Ara is a naive, but hopeful young shinobi, an amnesiac Hojo who knows little of the outside world outside of a few worthwhile encounters. She's incredibly loyal to her village, aspiring to become a great leader one day and possibly find out who she is. She's group oriented, preferring to have her time be spent with others as opposed in alone. The little Hojo can become very attached to people she meets, her good friends unable tear the squidling off of them to function properly.

She may be an ideal kunoichi, but she's still just a kid who got in over her head. The squidling also seems to be a pretty straightforward character, more so than I originally hoped.

1. Before looking at the actual test questions, in a couple of sentences, describe your character's personality.
Right now? I actually have no clue what I'm doing with her. Ahahaha. Okay, maybe a little, but a few posts is hardly enough for me to settle into a rhythm for this character that I'm comfortable with. Right now, the traits I'm constantly reminding myself of are whimsical, adventurous, and eccentric in that she has a different way of seeing things (literally and figuratively) that may be bizarre but can still be explained to some extent.

2. Family elders are expressing disapproval of you to the rest of the family. Do you:
A. Accept the criticism and change your ways?
B. Seek a compromise with them?
C. Besmirch the reputation of those expressing disapproval as you ignore their scorn?
D. Silence them any way you can?
B - Xion would be B, but with strong leanings towards C. She can be as stubborn as a donkey with things she wants when she wants, i.e. Musunde as Musubi. However, she never seeks to besmirch the reputation of those she considers family, i.e. she never called Musunde Musubi in front of important guests.

3. Would you give up a promising career to aid the family in time of need?
A. In a heartbeat.
B. Yes, with some reluctance.
C. Only if I was certain I'd be able to return to my career soon.
D. No.
A - Xion basically did A to initiate her start as an rpc when she decided, "Imma join Kumo now," just because she recognized a familiar voice in the village XD . Although, as just a wanderer, she didn't really have a promising career to begin with.

4. Would you betray a family member to advance your own career?
A. Yes, without a twinge of guilt.
B. Yes, if I could do it secretly.
C. I'd resist the temptation.
D. I find the very idea abhorrent.
D - Having never been placed in this situation but knowing that her alignment should lean towards good in some way, Xion would likely be C, D, or somewhere in between. B is actually even less likely than A because Xion can't lie for her life. As Xion doesn't really care for her career, A is unlikely as it is.

5. Do you respect the leaders of your family?
A. Their words guide my actions.
B. They're role models for me.
C. They're often out of touch with my life.
D. They're out of touch with reality.
C - by nature of Xion's condition and her, as I've stated, eccentric view of life. However, she does respect them, despite her bouts of stubbornness and different way of thinking, and is more apt to follow orders than disobey. She just wouldn't consider them role models or people who's every word guides her next step.

6. If your family had arranged your marriage to someone loathsome, would you:
A. Go through with it, proud to serve your family?
B. Agree, hiding your reluctance?
C. Subtly work against the union?
D Flee?
C - Despite being someone who helped a certain other person go through with option D, Xion would likely be... C. Not much better, I know, but it's damn hard to run away when you're blind. Her methods may not be so subtle, though.

7. You're estranged from a family member. On his deathbed, he seeks reconciliation. Do you:
A. Speak to him, but hold your ground?
B. Refuse to speak to him?
C. Discuss your estrangement openly and without rancor?
D. Actively seek reconciliation, and heed his dying words?
C - Xion would do C. She's never been the one to hide her feelings. While she would lean to D as much as she can, she wouldn't be able to dedicate herself to the dying words if they are something she strongly disbelieves. That being said, she will be more easily swayed by them than other words because she (probably) has an idea of just how important these last few moments are and, by extension, how important these last few words are.

8. A powerful but corrupt judge offers you wealth if you'll testify against your friend. Do you:
A. Condemn your friend and take the money?
B. Take the money and testify, but try to keep your testimony ineffective?
C. Refuse the offer and refuse to testify?
D. Testify on your friend's behalf, no matter the consequences?
D - Xion don't caaaaaaaare so she'll goo with D. Also, she can't lie.

9. Do you become close to friends, or hold most people at a safe distance?
A. I have an abundance of close friends.
B. I have some close friends.
C. I have few close friends.
D. I try to keep people at a distance.
A - Xion wouldn't mind A but actually getting to that point is another story considering her antics.

10. Have you ever betrayed a friend?
A. I've done so more than once, and I sometimes get away with it.
B. I've done so once.
C. I've been tempted to do so, but I've never gone through with it.
D. I'd never contemplate such a thing.
C - Being a bit of a prankster, it's C. Not a heavy betrayal, though. Just tricks which she thought were minor but might not be perceived as such by the target. She's tried to gone through with it and failed because she can't lie to a flea if she wanted to. She probably knew she was going to fail from the start, anyways.

11. How do you view lifelong commitment to a single romantic partner?
A. I have or want such a romance.
B. Such a romance would be ideal--if it's achievable.
C. I worry I'd miss out on what others have to offer.
D. Tie yourself to one person? Huge mistake.
B - Xion don't caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare. She has no opinion on this matter, so all of the above yet none of the above.

12. Do you insist on repayment when lending money to friends?
A.Yes, and I write up a contract so there's no misunderstanding.
B. Yes, but I try to be flexible about the exact terms.
C. No, although it's sure nice to be repaid.
D. No, they just owe me a favor.
D - This will likely be D be cause she don't caaaaaaaaaaaaaaare. Xion has a sense for money. She's had to while travelling alone for that couple of years between being kicked out of the Hiraiite household and deciding to join Kumo. However, she doesn't care much for it.

13. Are you still in touch with childhood friends?
A. Yes, we correspond regularly.
B. Yes, we try to keep in touch.
C. No, I move around too much.
D. No, I don't have anything in common with them anymore.
C - It's ultimately C for Xion but she sure was fast about throwing her all into reconnecting with a childhood friend once the opportunity arose.

14. Do you donate time and money to improve the local community?
A. Yes, the needs of the community are my top priority.
B. Yes, I donate as much as I can once my own needs are met.
C. No, I don't have enough time or money to spare.
D. No, my local community would be a waste of time and money.
B - Xion is a nice gal, so I think it'd be B. The problem really only lies in whether or not I can rp this since so many other things happen in rp.

15. Your community is threatened with invasion. Do you:
A. Help defend it to your last breath?
B. Defend the area with the rest of your community?
C. Flee as soon as things look grim?
D. Cut a deal with the enemy to act as a spy?
B - Xion may be up for A, but more likely than not, she'll be a B. Xion's doesn't fear dying so much as dying forgotten and being raised to be a sort of bodyguard/servant from your youngest days will do things to your perception of death. However, living still weighs heavily and Xion's upbringing wasn't to make her into the tradition body shield bodyguard but a sort of booster to shift the odds into the favor of the person she's guarding. She's hardly the type of person suited for a final, one-man stand.

16. If you were injured and required immediate assistance, would members of your home town agree to help?
A. Yes, because they know I'd do the same for them.
B. Yes, because I'm generally well liked in my home town.
C. Probably not, because I'm distrusted in my home town.
D. Definitely not, I've made some enemies in my home town.
B - Right now, the Hiraiite household is basically Xion's home town. It'll probably be a B if she was anywhere in the area. She was dismissed more out of not having any use than because she had done something really wrong. The only issue would be that the household has no obligation to Xion anymore.

17. Do you respect the laws and authorities of the community?
A. Yes, without question.
B. Yes, they're generally the best way to govern.
C. When it suits me--there are some laws I just don't agree with.
D. I don't pay attention to the authorities; they've got no hold on me.
B - Teetering between B and C. Generally B, but (again, the nickname) Xion can get stubbornly silly.

18. Do members of your home town shun, avoid, or mock you?
A. Yes, their small minds can't handle anyone outside the norm.
B. Some do, because I don't always fit in.
C. No, I'm generally seen as normal.
D. No, I set the standard for what is normal in my community.
B - Imagine a place that was D XD . But no, it's B. Blind and eccentric. What did you expect?

19. Would you stand for office or seek to represent the interests of the community in some public manner?
A. To do so would be an honor I'd joyously accept.
B. Of course. It's everyone's duty to do so.
C. Only if no one else could handle the job.
D. No, I don't want to be responsible for the community's welfare.
D - It's D. Xion wouldn't want it and I wouldn't want any community, even an enemy's, to suffer through Xion's version of leadership.

20. Your country is wracked with famine. Would you:
A. Share what food you had with others?
B. Eat as little as possible yourself, and share the rest?
C. Steal what food you needed to survive?
D. Steal as much food as possible, then sell it back to the community at a high price?
B - More because stealing is out of Xion's limited scope of abilities than anything, Xion would perform B, eating enough so that she wouldn't die but sharing everything else with those that needed it.

21. If offered enough money, would you slip a poison into your leader's drink?
A. Yes, I've done similar things before.
B. Yes, if I thought I could get away with it.
C. No, although a vast sum of money would tempt me.
D. No, and I'd warn the leader of the plot.
D - If Xion liked/respected her leader enough, it would be D. Otherwise, she'd probably just meander off and do her own thing.

22. A plague is sweeping across your country. Would you:
A. Undertake a dangerous mission to find the cure?
B. Heal the sick as best you can?
C. Avoid contact with the sick?
D. Flee the country?
A - By virtue of being a medic, it would be A and B. By vice of being more energetic than she should be, she would want to do A.

23. Do you respect the lawful authority of the rulers of the land?
A. Yes, Long live the queen!
B. Yes, our rulers are generally fair and just.
C. No, a ruler is no better than anyone else.
D. No, rulers are invariably corrupted by power.
B - As someone who respects authority even if she doesn't always bend to it, it would be B.

24. If you were offered a reasonably lucrative deal, would you spy for a hostile foreign power?
A. Yes, because this nation could stand to be knocked down a peg.
B. Yes, because the nation's secrets mean little to me.
C. No, because I might get caught.
D. No, because I'd never violate the trust my nation puts in me.
D - While it is a given Xion would get caught if she's ever questioned (C), it's really D. She isn't one to tattle on friends.

25. Do you rely on the government to enforce contracts and property rights?
A. Yes, because maintaining the rule of law is more important than any individual dispute.
B. Yes, because the courts are best equipped to handle such disputes.
C. Are you kidding me? The government can't even pave roads.
D. Absolutely not. If I can't defend it myself, I don't deserve to have it.
B - Xion's answer to this changes, I think, but it would be some combination of A, B, and C. As someone who relies on others for her defense (but does her fair share by making that defense more reliable), it's self-detrimental to even believe in D.

26. If imprisoned, would you injure or kill others to escape?
A. Yes. Serves 'em right for locking me up.
B. Yes. They knew the risks when they took the job.
C. No, except for minor wounds that will heal easily.
D. No. Those guards are just doing their jobs.
D - Unless the imprisonment is life threatening or terribly long, Xion will just peacefully pass her time as a D. However, if she wants to escape, then she would go with C. She still thinks the guards are just doing their jobs, so she doesn't want them to hurt too much.

27. Do you accept a noble's right to treat badly the serfs who work on his land?
A. Yes. They're lucky they're not slaves.
B. Yes, because sometimes only fear will motivate them.
C. No, nobles should rule as kindly as possible.
D. No one has any "right" to treat another badly. Period.
D - Xion's nature is a D. However, it's possible that growing up as a servant to the Hiraiite family may have nurtured her to be a C. I think she will disagree with anyone who is not a D, but as long as the noble isn't getting any worse than a C, then she won't have the urge to intervene.

28. You have accidentally committed a crime. Do you:
A. Turn yourself in, and attempt to make restitution to the victim?
B. Turn yourself in, throwing yourself on the mercy of the court?
C. Hide your involvement, lying if you have to?
D. Try to pin the crime on another?
A - If Xion sees it as a crime, then it'll be A. She'd feel bad about it and come clean while also trying her best to make up for it.

29. If guilty, would you confess to a crime?
A. Yes, because it is my duty to do so.
B. Yes, because it might get me a lighter sentence.
C. No, I'd make the magistrates prove my guilt.
D. No, and I'd try to "prove" my own innocence.
A - This is pretty much A all the time. If, by chance, Xion has reason to want to hide a crime for whatever reason, she'd go so far as to attempt C, but it'd eventually end up just being A again because she's a horrid liar.

30. Would you express a revolutionary political opinion if threatened with punishment?
A. Yes, I'd rather be punished than remain silent.
B. Yes. Somebody's got to speak the truth.
C. No, although I might privately express my opinion to friends.
D. No, politics aren't worth getting worked up about.
A - Xion doesn't think politics are worth getting worked up about (D) but if she has an idea she'll probably be an A or a C. There's something innately wrong with being punished for just talking that Xion doesn't agree with and will refuse to go along with. However, as she doesn't care whether its the masses or just her friends she's speaking to, she might refrain to just speaking to friends if she whimsically decides that speaking aloud is not worth the trouble.

31. While traveling, you witness an assault. You are ordered to testify, which will delay your travel significantly. Do you:
A. Slip out of town at night to avoid testifying.
B. Deny you saw anything.
C. Remain reluctantly, testify, and leave.
D. Remain until the trial's conclusion in case further testimony is needed.
B - Xion will attempt B at first because it's just too entertaining to not try it.

32. What is the best use of wealth?
A. To help the destitute and less fortunate.
B. Provide for the needs of friends and family.
C. To stay on top of the heap yourself.
D. To not only stay on top, but keep others from climbing to your level.
B - Xion is a nice girl, but she's not a wonderful and pure angel. She definitely puts the needs of those she knows over the needs of those she doesn't.

33. When confronted by beggars, do you:
A. Give generously?
B. Give moderately?
C. Give only what you wouldn't miss anyway--a dollar or two at the most?
D. Ignore them as you walk by?
C - Read above. Then again, this is another question that really changes on her mood.

34. By using magic, you could fool village merchants into thinking your copper pieces were made of gold. Do you?
A. Yes, and I'll buy as much as I can.
B. Yes, but I'll only cheat the rich merchants.
C. No, it's too risky.
D. No, those merchants have families to feed.
D - That and Xion can't lie.

35. You have two job offers. One pays more, but the other is secure and steady. Which do you choose?
A. Definitely the lucrative job; steady work sounds like drudgery.
B. Probably the lucrative job, although I'd look into the secure job.
C. The secure job, unless the other job was outrageously lucrative.
D. Definitely the secure job, because I plan for the long term.
B - Xion actually agrees with X but she's not one to turn a blind eye (ha) to an option that has its own merits.

36. What's the best path to wealth?
A. It's a matter of luck and being in the right place at the right time.
B. Staying flexible so you can take advantage of good opportunities.
C. Following a long-term plan that incorporates a comfortable level of risk.
D. Hard work and perseverance.
B - More than just wealth, this answer pertains to how Xion thinks any path is best taken.

37. If you accepted a job or contract, would you try to finish the task even if it got much more dangerous?
A. Yes, my word is my bond.
B. Yes, because it's good to have a reputation for dependability.
C. You can bet I'd be renegotiating.
D. If it's no longer a good deal, then the deal is off.
B - Again, this is an answer that varies widely depending on circumstances and how Xion happens to be feeling at the time. However, she does like having a good reputation.

38. Now that you've taken the test, has your view of your character changed at all?
My view of my character was barely established to begin with. However, I do think I have a better grasp of her, which hopefully won't change too much as I actually rp her through her life as a ninja.

Miko Tengoku's Psyche Evaluation
Quiz:

1. Before looking at the actual test questions, in a couple of sentences, describe your character's personality.
◊ Miko has developed into a slightly neurotic pragmatist with an internalized self perpetuating need to to advance her position in the world. She's suspicious of people and doesn't believe all those around her have good intents, so she's always tactful in testing the boundaries of those around her to gauge whom she can trust. The result of this is a perpetually crass attitude and disrespect for those whom haven't given in to requisites of her loyalty and friendship. Though ambition guides her Miko is highly aware that she doesn't want to be known purely as a "golden-tool" but a pioneer and galvanizing figure To not just her families expectation but to her village. She wants the power to change her world in the direction of these things and has come to the acknowledgment and bitter fact she has to struggle to earn every bit of respect and advantage she can to achieve this.

2. Family elders are expressing disapproval of you to the rest of the family. Do you:
B. Seek a compromise with them.

3. Would you give up a promising career to aid the family in time of need?

6. If your family had arranged your marriage to someone loathsome, would you:
C. Subtly work against the union?
[Her family serve as her roots and guides, but not her puppet masters (despite their profession). So any attempt to control her coarse in life beyond guiding advice found to be a misstep in her mind would be fought against with finesse to the context of the situation. though she might just intially say "piss off"]

7. You're estranged from a family member. On his deathbed, he seeks reconciliation. Do you:
C. Discuss your estrangement openly and without rancor?
[ Death is no summation to force change. Choosing to shift ones opinion simply because someone died or is dieing insults the fabric of your resolve, the reason you become estranged, and what you really thought of your relationship if you threw it away for something you thought was cheap enough not to bet life on it if you stood your ground so whole heartily. Yet to allow a conversation to flow without walls or harsh resistance is a fair compromise, because you shouldn't hate a person just their choice(s). ]

8. A powerful but corrupt judge offers you wealth if you'll testify against your friend. Do you:
D. Testify on your friend's behalf, no matter the consequences?
[ From a pragmatic view the judge isn't so interested in your words but your position for or against your friend so you can work through the gray to save the both of you. Since you're not on trial you free your friend first and then you bring the ball into your own court of concern to deal with, now with the option of collaborating with a freed allied resource. Life and choices are rarely zero-sum you simply keep moving things to a stage where more options arrive until the most favorable coarse appears, so inch by inch you search for the right path. ]

16. If you were injured and required immediate assistance, would members of your home town agree to help?
C. Probably not, because I'm distrusted in my home town.
[ Miko's still working out the very fabric of community with in herself and those she's vetted through her crude and harsh way of speaking. There's a hope in the people to turn their attention towards saving a native daughter, but their's no assured or internalized need or detriment they couldn't live with if they turned away. ]

17. Do you respect the laws and authorities of the community?
C. When it suits me--there are some laws I just don't agree with.
[Some laws have loopholes, and some are dated so far back they haven't evolved to the current standard of living and rights the world has adjusted to. Laws set by men aren't infallible, but a generalization of good social behavior that may not always fit with how one needs to act to survive. A starving thief has no choice but to steal or learn to gain land to grow their own food. But with laws set on the and and the hunting of animals what are they left with? An uncaring and ignorant opposition to a plight they've likely little experience of. ]

18. Do members of your home town shun, avoid, or mock you?
B. Some do, because I don't always fit in.
[ Miko personally feels Wanryoku belittles her character, intelligence and capacity for shouldering a burden set against her. Though he wouldn't be the only one who questions her way of thinking and she currently stands somewhat as a part of the counter culture of her home. ]

19. Would you stand for office or seek to represent the interests of the community in some public manner?
B. Of course. It's everyone's duty to do so.
[ Miko's dream is to be placed in a position of leadership and prominence by her peers through their recognition of her as a pioneer and galvanizing entity. She'd see the position as a chance to spread this community minded self enfranchising philosophy she has. That the individual isn't lost to the collective but bands together with them to spread their capacity for growth and pull the group forward as a whole. just in passing this on she'd of achieved her ultimate goal and could devote herself to the peoples needs with the requisite that those who wish to achieve change and advancement work hard for everyone including themselves. ]

20. Your country is wracked with famine. Would you:
B. Eat as little as possible yourself, and share the rest?
[simple steps. you ration food, and move to figure out means to gather and stabilize a source that will even out the peoples rations. You buy/produce filling and plentiful food sources, rice and grain mostly, soups and broths that can be made from water boiling left overs and you stretch the resources as far as functionally possible while developing other food sources in deals of trade or if needed stepping into theft to make it to stability. ]

21. If offered enough money, would you slip a poison into your leader's drink?
C. No, although a vast sum of money would tempt me.

22. A plague is sweeping across your country. Would you:
A. Undertake a dangerous mission to find the cure?
[Te active resistance/defense is what she's best at. but healing the sick would be the patch to buy the time for the cure. So It's more like. A. & B.]

23. Do you respect the lawful authority of the rulers of the land?
C. No, a ruler is no better than anyone else.
[They are people, not deities, and Miko more deftly respects them for their burden and service rather than bows in their glory. She believes more strongly i representatives of the people than rulers such as Kings, Queens or Damiyo's. which is why she respects the shinobi government more do to the more representative construct of their leader. ]

24. If you were offered a reasonably lucrative deal, would you spy for a hostile foreign power?
D. No, because I'd never violate the trust my nation puts in me.
[ To betray my nation is to betray the trust and work I've put into this nation and it's people. I've too much self respect for that. ]

25. Do you rely on the government to enforce contracts and property rights?
B. Yes, because the courts are best equipped to handle such disputes.
[ Though efforts should be made in self defense to assist the courts and the law to the right end.]

26. If imprisoned, would you injure or kill others to escape?
C. No, except for minor wounds that will heal easily.

27. Do you accept a noble's right to treat badly the serfs who work on his land?
D. No one has any "right" to treat another badly. Period.

28. You have accidentally committed a crime. Do you:
A. Turn yourself in, and attempt to make restitution to the victim?

29. If guilty, would you confess to a crime?
C. No, I'd make the magistrates prove my guilt.
[ The courts need to be equipped to deal with any sand all crimes. It''s their duty to prove guilt and mine to allow the system to work. I will no forcefully hamper their case, but I will not simply hand over something they need to always be vigilant of for the sake of the people. If found not guilty or possibly innocent i will submit to the court that their verdict was wrong and take my extended sentencing under the recommendation that the prosecution be fired and replaced. ]

30. Would you express a revolutionary political opinion if threatened with punishment?
B. Yes. Somebody's got to speak the truth.

31. While traveling, you witness an assault. You are ordered to testify, which will delay your travel significantly. Do you:
D. Remain until the trial's conclusion in case further testimony is needed.

32. What is the best use of wealth?
A. To help the destitute and less fortunate.

33. When confronted by beggars, do you:
C. Give only what you wouldn't miss anyway--a dollar or two at the most?
[To give someone what they must learn and struggle to earn in the same coarse you do isn't true generosity, but simply humoring your own guilt or curbing the sense of joy you might have in not sharing their faith. I'd rather give what i can spare and guide them towards making out something of their own. I see a person not a beggar and I'd rather not be the type to enable that position to be a reluctant faith, but a simple through point to something better.]

34. By using magic, you could fool village merchants into thinking your copper pieces were made of gold. Do you?
D. No, those merchants have families to feed.

35. You have two job offers. One pays more, but the other is secure and steady. Which do you choose?
C. The secure job, unless the other job was outrageously lucrative.
[ Meaning if the lucrative job granted enough money so that it could be rationed over a long term which equates to the years of stability of the stable job I'd weigh the difference and let the number decide.]

36. What's the best path to wealth?
A. It's a matter of luck and being in the right place at the right time.
B. Staying flexible so you can take advantage of good opportunities.
D. Hard work and perseverance.
[All of these above it;s not just one sure fire thing but a mix of them playing in your favor.]

37. If you accepted a job or contract, would you try to finish the task even if it got much more dangerous?
C. You can bet I'd be renegotiating.

38. Now that you've taken the test, has your view of your character changed at all?
Not really, but the minutia of Miko's personality seems a little clearer now, and accounting for how she's grown outwardly and inwards. She's pretty well defined with the help of this test to reinforce that in my mind. since I've had her for over a year now I've had enough time to sink into her character enough where it no longer takes me days or hours to right as her, but simply using her playlist I can see from her perspective.

1. Before looking at the actual test questions, in a couple of sentences, describe your character's personality.

Hakanai is very strong, loyal, and independent female. Though sometimes being a tamer, she makes rash decisions without thinking that can give her serious consequences. She would do anything to help others and not take care of herself in the process.

2. Family elders are expressing disapproval of you to the rest of the family. Do you:
B. Seek a compromise with them?

Why should I be ashamed of who I am? If they don't like me, I'm sorry, I follow my guts and my heart. If my elders don't like me, in the end, it won't matter. I am me and I am proud of that.

3. Would you give up a promising career to aid the family in time of need?
B. Yes, with some reluctance.

Honestly it depends. I love my job, I want to help the civilians of the Kumogakure... Sadly, we do not have to worry about this, Shu is the only family I have left and he, like me, is a shinobi of Kumogakure.

4. Would you betray a family member to advance your own career?
D. I find the very idea abhorrent.

Betrayal is painful and it hurts. I will not put my family and someone I love so much through that. I would find other ways to advance my career. If I never get to, so be it. Yet, it also depends. If my family shows signs of betraying Kumogakure, that's a different story...

5. Do you respect the leaders of your family?
B. They're role models for me.

When my parents were alive, I followed them. I looked up to them and I loved how my mother didn't care what others think. As long people were smiling and happy, she was happy too. I like to think I'm following her footsteps or I'm trying...

6. If your family had arranged your marriage to someone loathsome, would you:
B. Agree, hiding your reluctance?

If it's for the greater good, then yes. I would also try to talk to him and try to get to know him as well for us to find a way to keep marriage peaceful for the both of us.

7. You're estranged from a family member. On his deathbed, he seeks reconciliation. Do you:
D. Actively seek reconciliation, and heed his dying words?

Everyone change. Death can change someone and I don't want him to pass away with heavy heart. He wouldn't be the only one either, I would feel guilty for not talking to him and discuss things out as well.

8. A powerful but corrupt judge offers you wealth if you'll testify against your friend. Do you:
D. Testify on your friend's behalf, no matter the consequences?

Can Shu eat the judge once the case closes?

9. Do you become close to friends, or hold most people at a safe distance?
D. I try to keep people at a distance.

I... have problems trying to make friends. I try but... I get scared too. I believe I may come off as too aggressive sometimes..

10. Have you ever betrayed a friend?
D. I'd never contemplate such a thing.

Why would I do such a thing?

11. How do you view lifelong commitment to a single romantic partner?
A. I have or want such a romance.

Um... -blushes and scratches her cheek- I believe that love is work. It's commitment. It's up and downs, tears, blood, laughter and smiles. It's many things... it's not always butterfly in your stomach.

12. Do you insist on repayment when lending money to friends?
C. No, although it's sure nice to be repaid.

Friends, it means to help each other. I will gladly lean a hand if I could in some way. I'm not looking for anything in return, just continue true friendship.

13. Are you still in touch with childhood friends?
C. No, I move around too much.

They die in Yukigakure..

14. Do you donate time and money to improve the local community?
A. Yes, the needs of the community are my top priority.

I do everything I can to make time for the hospital if I don't have other missions or things to take care of. I wish to be skilled enough to be considered as top field medic, to be able to heal and take care of the people of Kumogakure outside of hospital if there's no time.

15. Your community is threatened with invasion. Do you:
A. Help defend it to your last breath?

I will die for this village.

16. If you were injured and required immediate assistance, would members of your home town agree to help?
A. Yes, because they know I'd do the same for them.

This is hard. I had made some decisions that caused others not to trust me. I would still heal them and would die for them, but would they done the same for me? It's hard to say.

17. Do you respect the laws and authorities of the community?
B. Yes, they're generally the best way to govern.

If it's logical and for the wellbeing of people, I have no issues following them.

18. Do members of your home town shun, avoid, or mock you?
B. Some do, because I don't always fit in.

Being deaf, there's many that believe I should not be a shinobi. So I always feel like the odd one out..

19. Would you stand for office or seek to represent the interests of the community in some public manner?
A. To do so would be an honor I'd joyously accept.

I can try? I'm not good at leading all the time, I would need help with my allies and people experienced in the field to help me out.

20. Your country is wracked with famine. Would you:
A. Share what food you had with others?

Not only myself, but Shu will have to eat less. Luckily, Shu can help with finding food. If I have to walk miles to bring back a massive amount of meat to help them, so be it.

21. If offered enough money, would you slip a poison into your leader's drink?
D. No, and I'd warn the leader of the plot.

Over my dead body. My leader will not die.

22. A plague is sweeping across your country. Would you:
A. Undertake a dangerous mission to find the cure?

I would do anything to stop the plague. Even would dare to catch it myself to figure it out, how it works, and how to find the cure.

23. Do you respect the lawful authority of the rulers of the land?
B. Yes, our rulers are generally fair and just.

I never met the Lord or Lady of this country, but I know the current leader has people of Kumogakure to his best interests.

24. If you were offered a reasonably lucrative deal, would you spy for a hostile foreign power?
D. No, because I'd never violate the trust my nation puts in me.

Again, over my dead body. I would rather die than to spy on my country and it's people.

25. Do you rely on the government to enforce contracts and property rights?
B. Yes, because the courts are best equipped to handle such disputes.

This slighty confused me...

26. If imprisoned, would you injure or kill others to escape?
D. No. Those guards are just doing their jobs.

It's hard. If they stand in the way.. I may have no choice but I would do everything not to harm or kill them. They could just trying to earn money for their family.

27. Do you accept a noble's right to treat badly the serfs who work on his land?
D. No one has any "right" to treat another badly. Period.

We are humans. We should be equal. Not put down another.

28. You have accidentally committed a crime. Do you:
A. Turn yourself in, and attempt to make restitution to the victim?

My actions are my consequences and I will accept my consequences.

29. If guilty, would you confess to a crime?
A. Yes, because it is my duty to do so.

30. Would you express a revolutionary political opinion if threatened with punishment?
A. Yes, I'd rather be punished than remain silent.

It's part of who I am. I'm not afraid to speak my mind.

31. While traveling, you witness an assault. You are ordered to testify, which will delay your travel significantly. Do you:
D. Remain until the trial's conclusion in case further testimony is needed.

I would hope someone would done the same for me if it happened to me. Why should I leave when someone needs protection? Help? I just can't do that.

32. What is the best use of wealth?
A. To help the destitute and less fortunate.

Besides food and bills, wealth has no importance of me. There's many out there that needs food and I would gladly share it.

33. When confronted by beggars, do you:
A. Give generously?

Not only that, I will help them by letting them know where they can find shelter, food, and clothes as well suggestions of different job openings.

34. By using magic, you could fool village merchants into thinking your copper pieces were made of gold. Do you?
D. No, those merchants have families to feed.

35. You have two job offers. One pays more, but the other is secure and steady. Which do you choose?
D. Definitely the secure job, because I plan for the long term.

36. What's the best path to wealth?
D. Hard work and perseverance.

37. If you accepted a job or contract, would you try to finish the task even if it got much more dangerous?
A. Yes, my word is my bond.

38. Now that you've taken the test, has your view of your character changed at all?

Nope. Well, maybe it shows me how stubborn and loyal Hakanai really is. She almost have that "******** you, watch me" personality when it comes to helping other people or people thinking she can't do her job because she's deaf.
