"I know this is going to be a bit to swallow but since your grandparents have gone missing we are going to have to adjust a great deal of things. While I don't exactly like having to impose myself as leader like I have it had and has to be this way." She was around the same age as the two brothers and while they all knew each other fairly easy enough she had been trained for situations like this. Though she had never dreamed a day like this would come.
"They had hoped something like this would never have happened." She said looking at each of their downcast faces, it broke her heart to know that so much tragedy had befallen the pride like this, but there was a chance they were well. Just not here. "I am going to do what I can to ensure the pride will survive and thrive into the future."
She meant it, she would make sure the survival of their colony happened. At any cost. "We need to discuss what is going to happen from this point on." She said looking at all of them. "I have you both here because you both have important rolls within the colony and I know you have an extremely strong connection to the spirits." She said looking between each of them.
"You will each be my eyes and ears, my voice when I am not around. While I may take the bulk of this with the title alone, we are all in this together. This is going to take a group effort."
She also had other news for them. "This is going to be my second in command. While he has no current ties to the colony I hope to change that in the future." She glanced towards Miujiza and waved a paw in introduction. "He will be the Nawm'Tsamsiyu of the pride. He has a great deal of skills and knowledge that can be taught and passed on in a number of area's. I'm sure he can tell you this for himself though. Miujiza, would you please?" She offered him to take the reigns on this.
Pxan was a little unsure about the whole thing but he was going to trust her. They had a history with the female, she had been in the pride for some time and their grandparents had trusted her so he would.
Tahni was definitely on board with the whole thing. "I know my grandparents would want someone they trust to take charge and they put faith in you so I believe what we are doing is the right thing." He said with a nod of his head towards Sylwanin.
He glanced over towards the male, whom she had dubbed Miujiza. He was curious to hear what he had to say on the whole matter.
Pxan took a moment to look at him as well, he seemed strong and capable, which was good. "I agree, I am curious to hear your thoughts though." |

The lion, recovering quickly from injuries sustained during the events, had been listening thoughtfully. He'd maintained a calm and collected expression the whole while, but inside he was shaken. Arriving at the pride seemed to be happenstance, but he'd found hismelf meeting wih a leader and eventually taking on a place along side her. The pride was in need of a new foundation and Miujiza was proud to say he would be part of it. Building that foundation and trust with the pride would be his top most priority - this was just the beginning. He watched as the groups face contorted into different expressions of sadness, fear, and anguish. Family was gone, lost, and possibly dead. Had he had any family and this happened he would likely have felt the same way. Instead he would be able to act as a wall for them to lean on - sturdy, confident, and emotionally whole.
Connection with the spirits? Miujiza made a mental note to speak with these individuals when given the chance. As an outsider he hadn't taken the time to brush up on the religions in the pride, but he was determined. Included in that statement he felt himself grow a little bit taller. Second in command. Though he had known he'd be introduced here, formally, the thought still blew him away. Of course he could provide a unique perspective, but would they accept him? The concern was well masked by a warm smile and kind eyes.
Once the spot light turned to him he was a little overwhelmed with what he might say and what might actually mean something to the natives of this land. "It was with great coincidence that I happened upon your home." He decided to aim for the truth and speak his mind. If he did so now he'd be free to do so again. "Your home was lavished in beautiful natural wealth." He had admired the natural beauty of their home before he had been injured. "Through odd chances I found myself injured to a degree of being unable to save myself. This was when one of your own found me." He gazed towards his savior with a fond, simple grin. "The roguelands was my home before this and has gifted me with several survival instincts that might not easily be attained through living here. Not to mention that the need to survive on ones own has given me the strength to survive at all." He chuckled softly. "I'll happily train and teach others about tracking, hunting, and defense." He wasn't about to suggest attack, so defense it was! "So if anyone would like to know something specific please don't hesitate." Simple, truthful, and to the point.
Miujiza visibly relaxed a little bit, finally reveling just how concerned he was about the -speech-.

Syl was very pleased with the males forwardness, it was a huge relief to have someone who was willing to take command and inform the rest of the pride of his capabiliites. It was definitely a needed addition.
Pxan and Tahni weren't sure how they felt about this at first but as he spoke they realized it was a much needed thing, especially since most of their family was missing or gone. Perhaps this was exactly what the pride needed. "My brother and I are happy to have you as part of our pride." Tahni said with a bow of his head, "Yes, I believe that your knowledge will be a great addition." Pxan added.
They looked towards Syl, they didn't have any immediate questions. "We can escort you around, this way you can get to know where everything was and what we need to work on rebuilding?" Pxan offered. Sylwanin gave a small nod of her head, yes that would be good.
I think that sounds like a good plan, we can discuss further matters while we assess the pride." She added as the three of them led Miujiza through their somewhat crumbled lands, willing to answer any questions that might arise.
Ctrl F Greenie -had this in a log fashion but broke it up to see posts better. This is already BEYOND word count requirement, so really it's just them discussing pride options at this point or talking about whatever :3
