Jass was so ready for this class! Any excuse to fly was alright in his book! He would also need to do good here if he wanted to do Quidditch. Besides he probably had most this class already done from his lessons with dad. Practily skipping to class Jass grabbed the probably older than dad broom and took a spot near a dark haired Slytherin boy. He patient lt awaited his turn to speak though he fidgeted the whole time. "Hi! I go by Jass but my full mane is Jasper Blackmoor and im in Gryffindor! I know some flying already but hats cause my dad is a pro seeker!" Jass said with such glee. Wren had whispered something to Yukon but Jass couldn't hear him well.

Location: Class (on the pitch) - Friday @ 4:00pm to 4:45pm


Landon walked onto the field for his third class of the year. He was looking forward to meeting all the first years. He wanted to leave them with a lasting impression and hopefully he'd have some enjoyable students that would want to continue into the advanced classes. As the first year students started to come onto the field Landon smiled. "Good afternoon everyone, I hope you’re enjoying Hogwarts so far. I'm Professor Price and I'll be your flying instructor for the year and for those who wish to continue on into the advanced flying classes." he told them brightly. "Before we get into introductions I'd like to inform you about some class rules. Don't worry they aren't that bad. All I ask of you is to come prepared and on time for class. Listen to instruction and no horsing around. If I say I want your feel to stay on the ground I expect you do is. The last thing I want is someone getting hurt and I'm sure you don't want that either." He said looking over the sea of students. "Lastly wands aren't needed so they can remain in your bags. Aside from that have fun and try your best. I assure you, that your hard work and effort will pay off." Landon added with a smile.

"Now, as I have each of you come over and grab a broom I’d like you to introduce yourselves. I'd like you to tell me your names, houses, and something interesting about yourself." Landon instructed.

What could be a better end to her first week of classes at Hogwarts with flying classes. She already felt as if she had been given wings and floating through her time in excitement. She felt free and happy to explore more about her talents and abilities and personality than how she could serve her country and the Queen with such things. She even stayed up late one or two nights in the common room with her fellow Gryffindors. Ma'am and Sir would be scandalized she knew for sure.

Still, ever so proper, Matilda arrived early and stood with proper posture her hands folded behind her back though she itched to have a broom in her hands already. She smiled as Professor Price took charge first with the reasonably expected rules of class and a request for introductions. Introductions always made Mattie nervous. Most of the items she had always led with in her muggle schooling were really never about her. Her parents military service and rank? Not her. Even her brother was not her. She did not want to introduce herself with something lame like her favorite color. She could mention the clubs she joined or intended to join but she had already said that in another introduction she was pretty sure.

Deciding not to overthink her introduction and hold up getting a broom, she rushed forward when she got her chance and said, "I'm Matilda Harper, please call me Mattie. I'm a Gryffindor. And something fun is I know how to say 'I hate cold tea' in Arabic." Obviously, she learned the most important phrases among the few she did know.
