They had all heard the tales growing up of the grand war-bands, fierce warriors, strong ideals, and a absolute standard for being able to hold your own weight. Many of their siblings didn't understand exactly why their mother insisted on filling their little heads with such vicious stories every night before bed-time instead of the normal fluffy bed-time stories most cubs got.
But Hati and Skoll were not like their other siblings. They both ate every bit of the stories up. Often they practiced most of their childhoods in play 'battles' to see who could be the better viking. Perhaps their mother saw the fire in the two, perhaps she just wanted to mold her children into a certain image? Who knew.
Finally though it was time for the two to put their money where their mouths were. To see if their years of training had paid off. Skoll thought he would be the first to punch his way into a place amongst the Stormborn. Ha! As if! There was no way in hell she was going to him beat her to the punch - literally.
She was determined to prove herself, once and for all shutting his mouth up.
