▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ This is the story of a little girl, born sickly and frail. Her skin was pale, her bones were weak, and her cry was muffled at best. The little girl's family took her to the tribe's healer, but he said she would not survive. They took her to the doctors in the neighboring villages, and they said she would not survive. They even took her to the finest shinobi doctors, but they too said she would not survive. They were wrong. A year passed and the little girl still lived, then another, and then another. As each one passed, the little girl grew stronger and stronger, but she did not grow quite strong enough. She could run and play like any other kid, but she would quickly grow tired and weary. She often fell ill and because of this, her parents kept her secluded and shut in. Naturally, the little girl protested. She wanted to go play with the other kids, but it was no use. The little girl protested again and, in a fit of rage, broke one of her toys; a little doll. As she looked down at what she had done, something clicked inside of her; a little spark of creativity. The girl quickly scooped up the broken remains of her toy and ran off to her room. It was here where her journey would truly begin. The girl tirelessly toiled over the doll, seeing each separate piece for what it was and beginning to understand how it worked. After a while, she had fixed her toy, but that spark was still lit. That drive to understand what made things work hadn't faded from her heart. Much to her parents' dismay, the little girl began to take apart and reassemble various items around the house. They would not protest, however. If it kept the little girl inside where it was safe, it wasn't cause to complain. But they'd soon have one.
Many years down the road, the little girl wasn't so little anymore. She had grown much in those few years, but, sadly, she was still as sickly as ever. The girl remained confined indoors and didn't have very many friends because of it. Not that she needed any; her new toys were all the company she needed. At least that's what she thought. You see, one day, her family met an older man while out on the road. He was hurt, very hurt. The girl's family rushed him to their home and cared for him while he recovered. It would be a long time, but he was more than welcome to stay. The man's injuries kept him confined to a bed for quite a long time. He wasn't able to go out for walks or even go to the market. The girl saw this and understood how lonely this probably made the man feel, so she began to spend time with him. The girl dazzled the man with all the machines she had crafted and the man listened intently. The girl's parents would apologize that she was bothering him, but the man shook his head. The man said it was no problem and that he saw a lot of himself in the little girl. After a while, the girl and the man became very close. And as soon as he was well enough to stand, the man said to the little girl, "Little girl, you've done so well keeping me company these many months. To show my thanks, I'd like to show you some creations of my own." The girl enthusiastically agreed. And so, the man showed her his creations. There were so many of them. They had many joints and limbs, so many compartments holding all sorts of wonders. Some were shaped like people and some looked more like beasts. Some spat fire and some made it rain swords. Each one moved with a mechanical grace she had never seen. This only helped to fan the spark of creativity in the girl into a full blown flame of passion. The little girl begged the man to teach her how he was able to perform such wondrous acts, and the man happily agreed to teach, but it would have to be in secret. The Little Girl's parents had now seen the man for what he truly was, and they became fearful of what he would teach the Little Girl. They could not stop the Little Girl's drive, however. In secret, she learned from the man.This was no longer just the story of the little girl. This was now the story of the girl and the old man.
Many months passed and the man was nearing his full recovery. In that time, the girl had learned much, and learned it fast. She was able to make her own wooden men and make them move as the old man did. Her form was sloppy, but she would get better with time. Many more months passed, and finally it was time for the old man to go. This made the girl very sad. She had finally made a friend, and now that was about to end. The man offered to take the girl with him; to watch over her and teach her. The girl pleaded with her parents. The girl's parents saw how sad this made the girl. It had made them very happy to see the girl laughing and playing for once, and they did not want that to end. They said yes. That evening, the girl packed her things and said goodbye to her parents, beginning her travels with the old man.The old man and the little girl traveled far and wide. They visited small villages and grand cities. All the while, the girl learned more of the old man's craft. She was getting good at it too. She was able to do far more than just make her wooden men simply move now. She could make them dance, she could make them soar... she could make them fight. Her creations began to take a violent turn. No longer was she making elaborate clocks and wacky gizmos. The girl was making spinning blades and cannons that fit in the palm of a man's hand. The old man was grooming her to become like him... to become a Shinobi. The girl now fully understood the man's craft, but she didn't mind. To be honest, the idea excited the girl. And so they continued, traveling for many years.
The years had come and gone, and both the girl and the old man had grown even older. the girl had learned many new tricks from the old man. How to walk on water, how to take on the appearance of another, and many more. With these tricks, along side her wooden men, the girl and the old man traveled the countryside helping those in need. They chased off bandits and monsters alike and the girl enjoyed every bit of it, at least until the day she learned what a true monster looked like. When that day came, the beast wasn't draped in matted fur. The beast did not have razor sharp claws. The beast did not even have long fangs. The true monsters came bearing the garb of a man; a metal suit and blade. The old man had heard tales of these monsters. They were a recent threat that came to end those like the old man, like the girl. But he would not allow it. The old man had promised to protect the little girl, and he knew his time was growing shorter. As the old man, the girl, and the monster fought, it became obvious they could not win. But the man would not give up. He promised to protect the girl. The fighting broke for a moment. In the break, the man looked at the girl and said, "Little girl, you've done so well keeping me company these many years. You've been such a great student and, to show my thanks, I'd like to show you my finest creation. One I have kept from you all this time. But in order to show you this creation, I need you to go. I need you to run far away." The girl agreed, tears flooding her eyes. She might not have known what this meant on the surface, but some deep part of her understood. This was goodbye. The man turned to face the monsters and unveiled that he too was in fact a wooden man, one unlike any other. As the girl ran, the man's body opened up and swallowed the monsters whole, enveloping them in a bright light and a loud rumble. The girl turned to see the man's creation, but she saw nothing. They were gone. The old man did not mind. His time was almost over and he had promised to protect the little girl, and so he did. The girl made her way alone to the nearest village to finish her instructions in the Old Man's craft. She would become like the old man and help others. She would keep others safe as he kept her safe, and she would do so by destroying the monsters of the world. The true monsters.
This was no longer the story of the Little Girl and the Old Man. That time has come to an end. This is now, once again, the story of the Little Girl. This is the story of Rinka.

Personality: Haji knows how to keep his head up, push forward and do what he think's right. The way he held himself in the Academy sorta got him popular with the underclasses, not that he was to popular himself, nor a star student. He holds honesty high and does his very best to follow his Nindo. He's never really been one to harm anyone, but this is an inevitability in the life he's to lead. For how good he does his best to act, sometimes he's a bit to reliant on his teachers and friends around him. With that said as well, he can even be super naive and over trusting of people. This has caused him to get angry and aggressive, once he's found out he's been used. Though that is rare for him.

As a young child he had been afflicted with a case of sleep paralysis, it hasn't bothered him for a long time. Ever since then it has caused him great fear to be in a position where he can't move or talk. Early on his parents and he, knew he could use Chakra, so he was sent off to the Academy as soon as he was of age. During his free days and starting before he even started, he learned the ways of the Samurai and has a very basic understanding of their swordplay. His father had taught him as much as he could, it was knowledge from his youth. In the Academy Haji learned the basics of their Jutsu, specializing in it as well as the ability to use two types of Ninjutsu. In classes he was neither incredibly smart nor a dunce, he performed well enough to graduate from the academy. What was notable though, is how well mannered he was, when they sparred or practiced jutsu among other things he had an air of honor and virtue that he tried to keep. The way he treated people, and his fairness and friendliness had Haji popular with the younger Academy students, they admired and found a friend in him. But that was behind him now, now Hajime Asuhara steps into the Shinobi World, ready to make his mark upon history!

Nindo:Sora will discover his Nindo in roleplay. Personality: It's rare that you'll ever find Sora without Masa at his side. The two appear to be inseparable, and their close relationship is almost sibling-like in nature. Shy and timid at first, he's quick to warm up to people he takes a liking to, showing his more cheerful side. Still, he's soft-spoken and generally doesn't talk very much unless spoken to, or asking questions. He's patient, kind, and has a tendency to express his emotions to the extreme. It's rare for Sora to ever become angry as he is likely to express apprehension in a lot of cases, but extending past the limit of his patience or hurting someone he holds dear like Masa, could have different results. Sora struggles with his sudden exposure to the Shinobi lifestyle, battling his fight or flight instincts during intense moments. Masa helps his courage surface, though he lacks the tenacity and fearlessness to take such daunting circumstances head on right off the bat. He prefers detective work and exploration; finding clues, solving puzzles, and discovering new areas or artifacts. Sora is fascinated with all felines of any kind, looking forward to making new feline friends and learning more about them. Masa will always be his top favorite, and his best friend no matter what.
Masa is Sora's partner, who is still learning what it takes to be a full-fledged tiger and an exceptional partner for her master. Their connection has a strange effect on her overall growth, reflecting the strength of their bond. She's an energetic furball who loves to play and meet new people and animals so long as Sora is with her. As his partner, she is very protective of Sora, and helps with his fear of danger by teaching him to be more like a tiger. Masa is fearless in the face of danger, relentless in her assault that can be quite reckless at times, especially when Sora's life in on the line. Despite still being a cub, she's incredibly assertive when she needs to be and doesn't let her size deter her from displaying her ferocity to overcome bigger challenges. She's spoiled (though Sora might say otherwise), and loves her master's attention. It's very easy for her to grow jealous should he start spending more time with others.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Born under royalty in the Snow Village (now Otogakure), Sora was raised to live a rather normal life with his parents. Having no intentions of having their only child enroll into the village's military, he was groomed to be the next heir. He received his companion and lifelong guardian, a white tiger cub who he named Masa. The two befriended each other rather quickly, and have been inseparable since then. Collisions between the royal family and the current leader of the village in regards to territory caused them to send Sora and Masa to another location for his safety. One guard accompanied them to the village known as Kirigakure, where he'd reside until it was safe to return. For a couple of months, secret letters were being sent back and forth between him and his parents to keep contact. Until his final letter was never returned. Sora's guard insisted that he attend the Academy to blend in with the military of the village while they try to reconnect with his family. Learning how he'd have to operate as a Ninja of the village was discouraging, but he graduated nevertheless. Now, Sora and Masa begin their journey together as Genin!

Appearance: Shen stands on the taller side then most and holds a rather imposing figure to most. He is covered in muscle but not to outrageous amounts, making him look thin at a distance until one is up close. He has tanned skin that is covered in thin scars. Bright steel gray eyes add to his serious expression that is kept at all times. He has no facial hair and has a messy head of medium white hair. He usually wears rather plain clothes but tries to keep to some sort of uniform so as not to draw attention to himself. The most flashy thing of his appearance is the silver ringlet around his left wrist, and the red nodachi that adorns his hip. Height: 6'4 Weight: 190 lbs
Nindo: "..." Personality: Shen is a very quiet individual holding a gruff exterior, rarely speaking words unless he has to and even then usually only short sentences. Anything he shows off on the surface is neutral at best, or a very stern expression at almost all times. There is a kind heart underneath all of the stone face but it is rarely seen. He prefers his own company but listens to orders well and proper. In line with his quickness to follow orders he does also possess an extreme code on honor and ethics that he chooses to follow. Rarely would this clash with his superiors of course but it can be odd quirks.
In battle he holds true to the legacy. Quick, cold, and calculating, he will never hesitate to end a life unless given explicit orders not to. When one enters battle one must be ready to part with their soul, and his fighting reflects that and what he believes of those around him. It also means he will almost always fight until victory or a forced retreat. He would not throw his life away but if there was even a chance of victory or a reason for his death he'd embrace them both without hesitation. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Shen was born in a lesser village. His father trained him in preparation for his enrollment to the academy, the way of the blade being enforced above all else. To his family the way of the blade was the only path for them to take, the other forms of shinobi being disregarded. This was ingrained into Shen from the day he was born. However before he had a chance to start learning the real methods of fighting and participating in combat tragedy struck as was usual in the life of Shinobi. What had happened is hard to say, beyond that his father was slain in a messy battle that had no real clear villain or hero, leaving Shen unsure of where he was to stand on it. His village still stood but was far from what he once knew. Thus he embarked and quickly enrolled to the academy, setting his mind back to the track he had been put on. Even if his fathers had besmirched the families name he wouldn't let the legacy die. He'd find a new name to replace the one he had chosen to lose, and keep the spirit of what he had been taught alive in its truest of forms.
