Vesna took off with the quaffle rather easily. It seemed that she was quicker than the older Gryffindor as she didn't even have to fight for it very hard. Now hopefully, she and her teammates would be able to hold onto it long enough to get a goal.

Csuri looked over at Brianna when she walked over, brows furrowing when she spoke in Latin. When would she learn that Csuri had no clue what the heck she was saying? Instead, the younger blonde simply nodded in agreement, hoping it was something about winning. It didn't take long before the game was called to action, so the Vice Captain took to the sky. She could feel a seasonal sweep incoming. She just had one idiot to beat in order to secure it.

The Sixth Year watched as her younger teammate took the face-off at the center of the pitch and made an attempt to start a drive towards the Lions' goals. That lasted right up until Roxie snagged the ball from Ves's hands. Brianna nosed over into a power-dive, moving to stop the Lions' drive, and get the ball back into Slytherin's possession.

Brianna then shoveled the Quaffle back into Vesna's hands to continue the drive.

Vesna groaned when Roxanne had stolen the quaffle directly out from her grasp. The Slytherin Captain came to their rescue, however, and stole it back before passing it to Vesna, who had dodged Roxie's interception and took off towards the Gryffindor goalposts.
