Cami smiled at the Fool Egg. She'd never suspected any ill intent. I know, but just a little while longer. she beseeched. The last thing they needed was another egg cracking up now. Unsurprisingly, to her at least, Uridith soon ordered the candidates off the sands. Well, that was probably for the best. Emotions were running high among the eggs and candidates, it seemed, and she couldn't imagine have them all crowded around could be helping. She stood and nodded another little bow to the goldrider and mother, then backed away.

Looking around the crowding canddiates retreating from the sands, she soon found Caderyn among them and wandered over too him. She hadn't had enough time to fully process everything that had happened at the Touching, but the entire experience had left her feeling strangely both restless and weary. At times like this, she usually liked to go hunting, but doubted they would be allowed out of the Weyr tonight. She would have to settle practicing. "Want to practice shooting later?" she asked the other candidate. She always found that to be a soothing practice.

Riagan startled at the gold's sudden command. What? What had happened? The calm of the Heirophant Egg washed over him, however, and he quickly relaxed. Or were they simply taking too long.. Gr'del had warned them the eggs might be getting tired soon. Perhaps the mother had decided they'd had enough. Reluctant, Riagan took his hand off of the egg (he'd been enjoying that one!) and got up, following the others out of the cavern.
