General Information: Break believes that both agility and endurance is the best asset for a to trick or treater to have, so with the interest of looking for potential among the students he invites you all to try his course.

The Course: Thunder Road
A rocky, uneven road built to test the students and see how they handle themselves across rough terrain. Your student must run through the entire course, up hill, and keep running without stopping. If they slow their pace or come to a complete stop, they'll be struck by lightning and it will be the end of the line for them!

Course can be ran solo or in groups.

Win - You've survived five rounds of dice rolls and crossed the finish line!
Lose - If your HP has reached zero, there is a narrow path on each side of the course. Hop off onto it and exit the room. If insta-killed, you dissipate and wake-up in Nurse Cricket's Office.

Mechanics: Roll a one 8-sided die to determine the results your student will get and make sure to adjust your HP accordingly
Each time you survive a round, repeat the above until you complete the course.

Bonus Mechanics:
If you get a lousy roll, a Y2 or Y3 student may roll a one 6-sided die ( ONE TIME ONLY ) and attempt to evade the hit.

Y2 students must roll a 5 or 6 to evade the lightning.
Y3 students must roll an even number to evade the lightning.

She had been talking to Spinar about what classes to do next when the class with the Thunder Road had come up. It certainly sounded like one she wanted to get out of the way as quickly as possible. The thought of being struck by lightning had her almost shivering in thought but she managed to contain it as she went to the class. She found it easy enough and there was even another student who was going to be taking it as well, though the pretty dragon lady was a second year by the looks of her. "Good luck." She said with a friendly smile then took off running.

This wasn't the first time she'd attended the Thunder Road class. And, knowing her luck, it'd likely not be the last. She'd ditched the flowy skirts for athletic shorts--which were... well, short--and top little better than an athletic bra. The scales and ink stains across her skin were highly visible, an iridescent sheen on the scales reflected with each ominous strike of lightning. Her wings were tucked against her body, tail flicking in her unease as she eyed the weather displays.

The last time, she'd been hurt pretty bad, and Spinar--or had she only known him as Siku at the time?--had managed to speed past her without concern. Though she was a year up, and definitely more skilled than she'd been when she'd first tried this course, her apprehension was high. At the sound of footsteps, Agsilved looked towards the source, her violet eyes hazy as her mind was forced to focus on something other than her past failures and the difficulties of this course. The brunette did manage to get a smile out of the dragon, inclining her head in greeting. She was cute, though Agsil wasn't entirely sure what sort of being she was just by her appearance.

"I'll likely need a great deal of that luck," she chuckled, wincing a bit. "May this go easy for you." Hey, maybe she just gave others luck when it came to this thing... Taking a breath, she took off. Almost immediately, a strike came down towards her, and she booked it towards the side, hissing at the crackling electricity that singed her skin a bit in its close proximity. Yep. This wasn't going to be her day.

Well the pretty dragon certainly had a beautiful smile to go along with the rest of her. "I'm sure you will do a lot better then you think." Meara tried to encourage only to shiver at the loud sound of thunder. The Loch Lady didn't let it stop her from giving another smile when the year 2 student wished her an easy time as well though.

Soon enough they were both running and while Meara had managed to breeze by the first little stretch, the dragon lady had managed to get singed a bit. "Are you alright?" She asked only to get hit almost dead on by some lightning while she was distracted. The water demon gave a loud yelp in pain and she staggered a bit as she tried to keep running.

"For now," she called back to the other student, pushing herself off from the ground she'd skidded to in her bolt away from the strike, trying to shake off the arm and wing that were burning at the moment. Of course, the other student nearly got hit as well, and she winced in sympathy. "Don't turn back, don't pause--keep focused on where you're going and when you feel a prickle in the air, move." Agsil hoped her voice was loud enough to reach over the thunder that echoed around them.

It wasn't that she should have heeded her own advice--Agsilved did--but the strikes came in rapid succession, when she thought she dodged one, another came hard, a choked scream ripping from her dark lips as the electricity coursed through her. Much like before, she'd live in the long run, but jack it all did that hurt. Maybe the other student would have far more luck than her.

Meara shook her head to try and shake off the effects of the strike and paid a bit more attention to what the other student was saying. It sounded like it was sound advice to her but it was obvious that it was harder to put into practice then just deciding to do it. She jumped when she heard the other ghoul scream and turned her head to look over to her only to get hit again and making her give her own scream of pain.

She dropped to the ground with a whimper and then crawled her way off the coarse. Thankfully both her and the other student got healed, though they were encouraged to get back out there any try again immediately.

Once they were back at the starting line, Meara gave a shaky smile to the dragon. "I'm Meara by the way. Here' hoping we have better luck this time around."

Though the recovery was quick, per norm for this, she wasn't too happy to be shooed back to the class and back to facing the thunder and lightning. This wasn't her element, this wasn't her comfort zone, and she was not happy about this.

But, she wasn't the only one forced back. She offered a tired, if strained, smile towards the other, offering a dark stained and clawed hand towards the ghoul. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Meara. There's at least one positive thing about dealing with this mess. I am Agsilved." She spoke her name somewhat carefully, to make the sounds clear, and not jumbled together in a mess some would repeat back to her if she wasn't careful.

Taking a breath, she looked back to the course and let it out in a sigh. "One can hope. I'm growing to loath this course, really."

Apparently, the feeling was mutual. It didn't take long before Agsil found herself caught in another blast, cursing her luck and the pain that hit through her. Already. She hated this class.

Meara took the offered hand, not worrying about how stained it was since she would need to bath after this class from hell anyway. "Pleasure to meet you as well." She gave another smile, glad that there was indeed a bright side to this class. "Agsilved is how you say it yes?" She asked as she tried to repeat the carefully pronounced name.

"Agreed. Here's hoping we finish this then never have to do it again." The Loch Lady shivered again at the sound of thunder then they both took off into the course. When Agsil was struck again, Meara was tempted to hop the course and wait for her but some lightning striking nearby between her and the course edge kept her going, though she hoped the other ghoul would catch up soon.

Agsil had been delighted that the other ghoul had said her name correctly, and had very happily confirmed this, but that joy didn't last long once the class was underway. And she was out.

She had to be patched up quick on the sidelines before being sent back to the start, grumbling and wishing she could just... not do this. But she needed to pass. Even if she hated this damn course more than any other.

This time when the lightning struck, she felt the electricity in the air, enough warning to move the hell out of the way before it struck, and pushing herself onward. Still a long ways to go.

Meara turned her head just enough as she ran that she could see the other ghoul had rejoined her on the course and she felt a mix of sympathy, worry, and happiness. Though happiness wasn't necessarily appropriate, she did find the thought of taking this hell class easier with someone else along there with her. She quickly went back to looking where she was going when she got hit again though.

Some strikes here were worse than others. One particularly bad one caught her and Agsil screamed, the sound broken by crackles of electricity. Though she still stood--sort of--and stumbled a few steps before she could force her aching body to continue on, she followed the figure ahead of her. It was somewhat nice to have another there going through the same trial. But it wore on her to put up with this. How long till they finally completed this class?

Meara winced when she heard Agsil scream again. Maybe she would ask the other ghoul if she wanted to join her on an simpler class next time around? One where they wouldn't be tortured with lightning? She kept running though instead of turning to check on the dragon like she was tempted to, managing to avoid any lighting for this small stretch at least.

She managed to avoid another strike as it came down. This wasn't going as bad, but she knew better than to be cocky or even giddy about it. Knowing her luck, she'd be out with the next strike. But she kept pushing onward. At least she met someone new--someone who might be willing to talk and laugh about this mess after. It'd been... a while since she'd last really dealt with others. Of any kind. From anywhere.

Minus Hunters.

And she really didn't want to deal with any more Hunters.

She had been doing pretty good, getting closer and closer to the finish line. It probably would have taken one last burst of speed to get there too but just before she could try it she got hit again. Meara gave a cry of pain then imediately got off the coarse so she wouldn't get hit again, heading back to where they could patch her wobbly self up. She did give a smile and a thumbs up to Agsil when she passed her though as a good luck gesture.

Agsil grimaced when Meara was struck. "You did good, keep going!" She called out what she hoped was reasonable encouragement as she passed, offering a smile though she couldn't focus on looking anywhere but forward and keeping an eye to the sky.

And another strike was coming down...
