Wrex had been roving the campus for something to do when he spotted it: an odd, white hole in the air. At first he thought it was someone practicing magic and snorted, but then the boil realized that there wasn't anyone in the vicinity, let alone focusing on it. Tempted to see what portals tasted like, he scooted forward and chomped down experimentally.

It felt weird. And definitely not satisfying. But maybe it led to new food? Wrex stuck his tail in next to try and test it some more, but evidently that was enough to suck him right in.

He dropped with a loud thunk inside an old hallway, whose wooden walls and floors looked like they were just about to rot away. Blinking, Wrex rolled to his feet, arms tucked close to his chest, and warily looked around.

"HELLO!" he yelled. "WHERE IS WAITER?"

Terry had wished someone had the foresight to sign up for Haunted House duty with him. He was a trainee with a defensive weapon (Who is awesome at keeping me alive,) whose exposure had mostly been with Horsemen trying to kill them. The extent of his interaction with Halloweeners had been that card game tournament. And now thinking on it, he wished he had the foresight to bring his deck with him.

He had been patrolling for almost an hour now and he should be able to go back without inci- a yell echoed around a corner and Terry froze. Oh s**t, he thought. Unsure if he should keep going because this was part of patrol duty, or if he should turn around nope it the ******** out of there.

In the end, duty won out. But to compromise, he angled his head around the corner to take a quick peek and if there was nothing or no one he would totally turn around. Just a quick look couldn't hu- oh s**t is that a T-Rex?

Wrex brightened. "Yes good!" he cheered as he started to jog over, wooden floors creaking dangerously with each step. "Wrex is very hungry and bored. Where is menu? Where sitting?"

The sight of the massive incoming creature was both one of the coolest things Terry has seen and also one of the most terrifying things Terry has seen. The whole Sahara debacle was less terrifying and more gross and disturbing. There was no use pretending he wasn't there so the Life trainee drew from all the media he'd consumed on what his next course of action should be.

And couldn't remember if it was the raptors or the t-rex that you should have stayed perfectly still for. While a mantra of expletives played over and over in his head, he somehow managed a monotone of "No food allowed beyond this point. If you wish to eat, might I suggest turning around?"

His shield was instinctively summoned at his point, but held in such a way that Agata could very well pass off as a fancy serving tray.

No food past what point? What sort of restaurant...

Wrex froze when he saw the gold and white coat. And then his red eyes turned to slits of anger as he bared his teeth.

"You." His long tail thrashed, slapping the walls of the hallway and splintering one side. He made a show of licking his lips before bellowing, "YOU WILL BE WREX'S MEAL!"

The world around Terry seemed to move in slow motion at the realization that this freaking dinosaur was going to eat him. And not in the Monster Musume way.

It was Agata's voice that finally pierced the initial deer in headlights state of the life trainee, screaming for him to raise her now, now, NOW. Terry stumbled back, managing just barely to bring up his weapon, the teeth pointed forward, grinning as wild and as hungry as the incoming beast.
