Astronomy : A
- Candace wasn’t the best when it came to Astronomy. It was a lot to remember. Sitting and looking up at the stars was great but after a while it got boring. Putting in the effort to study for the exam, she managed to scrap by with an Acceptable grade. Although barely.
Charms : E
- Charms was probably Candace’s favourite class when she first came to Hogwarts. It remained her favourite even after that. She worked extremely hard in the class. However, with everything else going on she only managed to Exceed Expectations. She was pretty sure it was the written test that lowered her grade.
Defence Against the Dark Arts : A
- Defense class was harder then it looked. Finding it difficult, Candace always struggled with the class. Her performance was decent and her knowledge was subpar. She joined the dueling club to help with the class. She had a hard time remembering certain facts and even had a hell of a time dealing with the boggart. She was lucky to pass with an Acceptable grade. Luckily all that studying paid off.
Herbology : E
- Candace is as down to earth as a girl could get. Plants and her, got along for the most part. So long as she didn’t have any clumsy moments that is. Studying hard for this test, she would have probably aced it if not for a few mistakes during her written exam. Overall Candace was happy to Exceed Expectations.
History of Magic : P
- History was not Candace’s strong suit. In fact, despite trying her best not to fail, she just couldn’t remember enough names and facts. The Hufflepuff’s lack of memory proved to be her down fail. Then again, she was never one for history. By the end she wasn’t confident she did well and wasn’t surprised with her Poor grade.
Potions : A
- There were times when her clumsiness could prove to be a problem in this class. Potions was a dangers place for a girl with two left feet. Candace made it a conscious effort to remain on both feet while doing this exam. She studied hard for it and didn’t want that resulting in a failed grade. Luckily, she managed to get an Acceptable grade.
Transfiguration : A
- Transfigurations was a hard class. Putting in some work Candace still found making the kitten disappear to be a challenge. Between that and a few mistakes she made in the written portion there was no surprise she only got an Acceptable grade.
Electives
Art : O
- Candace’s favourite class was no doubt art. Being very artistic the class came natural to her. It comes as no surprise that the Hufflepuff managed to obtain an Outstanding mark in the class. She didn’t need to study much aside for any art history that could have caused her trouble during the exam.
Care of Magical Creatures : E
- Magical Creatures was one of those classes that was taken just because. As the class went on Candace grew to really find an interest in it. It was fun and aside from a few tiny mishaps due to clumsiness she was actually pretty good. Come the exam, she might have missed a few details but overall her OWL went smoothly resulting in her Exceeding Expectations.
Music : O
- No surprise that Candace is great when it comes to her Music class. She’s always loved music almost as much as she’s loved art. As such she always had good marks and only required studying the history needed to pass the exam. Luckily it was all interesting to her. Despite almost slipping up on the fast paced notes during the practical she managed an Outstanding grade.
Study of Ancient Runes : A
- Taking Ancient Runes because Minako had taken it, Candace found it interesting at first. However, she grew to find it as just another history class. Not wanting to fail she put in a solid effort to pass the exam. Luckily, she recalled enough from her studies to manage a low but Acceptable grade.
Wandlore Studies : E
- Candace loved Wandlore the moment she walked into the class. It was like a whole new art form which resulted in her putting in a lot of effort. Working as hard as she did paid off. Though she wasn’t perfect with all the facts and information, she was more then happy to Exceed Expectations. Candace hoped to continue the class and improve even more.
