Astronomy ~ D
Alec never put much effort to even showing up to class, so it wasn't at all surprising that he got a Dreadful on the exam. He barely remembered enough to avoid a Troll. He didn't like being up that late to do schoolwork during the actual class, and he had little interest in Astronomy.
Herbology ~ P
Alec was never a plant person. Combine with that for his dislike of the professor, and it was a recipe for disaster. He barely even tried on the exam, confident he would never be anything close to a Herbologist in his adult life. He was lucky to not score any lower, although he claimed to have been trying for an Acceptable.
History of Magic ~ A
With his short attention span and bad memory for dates, Alec was lucky to even get an Acceptable on this exam. He never took any proper notes in History of Magic, and spent most of his time doodling, daydreaming, or trying to pass notes to his girlfriend. Besides, he figured he knew all the important bits, anyways.
Potions ~ EE
Alec knew he needed to do well on this exam, so he buckled down and studied, a rare sight to see for him. He'd never been terrible with Potions to begin with, so that certainly helped, and although an O would have been ideal, he was more than happy with an Exceeds Expectations.
Arithmancy ~ EE
Alec didn't like Arithmancy, but he needed it if he wanted to become a cursebreaker, so he put up with it. Even if he wished they could just study regular muggle math. Even if he didn't like the class, he was fairly good at it, and he was never worried about failing.
Care of Magical Creatures ~ EE
Alec enjoyed CoMC, but he had other classes that were unfortunately far more important to study for, so he put it on the back-burner, so to speak. That said, he still managed a low Exceeds Expectations, which he didn't think was half-bad, given how strict the professor was.
Ghoul and Ghost Studies ~ P
Alec was interested in this class at the start, but he was barely putting any effort in by his fifth year. He was planning on dropping it either way, so he didn't care that he got a Poor. It was better than a Dreadful.
Muggle Studies ~ EE
Alec liked Muggle Studies more than he expected to, although a lot of it still managed to either amuse or confuse him. He did study for the exam, although not intensely, and was quite proud of his Exceeds Expectations, thinking that was pretty good, given his anti-muggle parents.
Wandless Magic ~ A
Alec was never that great with wandless magic, although he was never so bad that he thought he'd fail either. To be honest, he was mostly relieved with his Acceptable, having been afraid he'd ended up with a Poor instead.
