▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Kaneo fell in with Mizuki on the trip to Kumogakure, and they've been fast friends ever since. Though an orphan, he never really felt too bothered by it. About the only complaint to level at the whole process was the inherent lack of wealth it saddled him with, and the obvious underfunding of the homes he bounced between. The young man also never possessed what one might call outstanding vision, unless you count finding the best places to, uh, people watch in that assessment. Naturally, running into someone around his own age with the sense of drive to alter their standing that he lacked proved enticing. Though he'd originally booked passage with the same company that ferried Mizuki to her new home, he wasn't actually intending to head anywhere in particular. He figured he'd end up going the opposite direction in fact, but a pretty face bade him stay in the Land of Water and he complied - though he'd probably never admit that, as Mizuki might put, he followed "dat a**" to his new home. He has, however, found himself a companion of sorts in his fellow vagabond and newly minted comrade in arms.

Sumika developed her talents for Jiton early, mostly to gain revenge on a boy who was teasing her by breaking one of his toys - and using it to thump him in the gut. He was mean anyways, so it was worth it. Lacking a family name, due to being an orphan, she earned the nickname Sumika of the Iron Sand; though this wasn't entirely her idea, she was the one who forcefully propagated it until everyone else got on board the damn bandwagon. Outside of manifesting her abilities at an early age, and being exceptionally hyper, Sumika's life was otherwise normal. That she lacked parents never seemed to bother her, though she has express curiosity about them. For the most part her history is as boring and uneventful as any normal person who tosses around large piles of metal sand for fun. Sure, she fused some door hinges, and messed with some flasks, but who hasn't, am I right? There wasn't something super traumatic and she wasn't the best in her class, but she's done fine so far and that's all that matters.

He'd heard both of his clans reputations talked about enough that he figured he'd slight them both in one fell swoop. Taint the sacred Hyuga blood, and dishonor his Aburame legacy abandoning their name. A perfect fit for a kid that never fit. Naturally, he also never found a place in a village, swept away to avoid the censure of the Hyuga clan proper. No matter, he fit better on the road anyways. And so he live there, making a bit of a ruckus when he has the chance.
