	Battle Effect Status Rolling a 4: NO HEALING IS ALLOWED IN BATTLE. Someone is whispering to you about something, but you can't place out what, it is hard to focus. Everything distracts you, even the tiniest flash of light or flicker of movement.

	Despite the foreboding of the Haunted House, Rhys stepped lightly as he went along. It was almost like he hadn't learned his lesson and found his way back to the Haunted House sooner than he really should have after sustaining injuries and the like from previous visits. His FEAR shield, of course, took the brunt of the damage, but that didn't mean he walked away completely unharmed. Minor injuries added up, after all, which Zephira was quick to remind him even if he didn't pay the warning too much attention. 'Z, any idea if this place is really 'haunted' or if it's just a name we gave it?' ‹ You ask that after fighting how many things here? It's probably haunted. › 'Probably, but I mean I always imagined haunted with ghosts and stuff. Not creatures like what I've been dealing with.' ‹ If you fought a ghost creature would you not ask me something so stupid again in the future? › '...Maybe.' ‹ Then I hope you find a ghost creature so you have the answer to your stupid question. › He scowled at that, heaving a sigh as he cautiously navigated through the fog. Something had been eating away at her temper recently, and only fighting seemed to calm her down some. Maybe that was another reason he kept revisiting, in hopes of finding a way to make her less...biting. Normally it didn't bother him--nearly two years of a snarky voice in his head desensitized him for the most part--but it was worse lately, and he couldn't figure why. Something flashing toward his left caught his attention though, and when he looked he wound up bumping into something directly in front of him. xnessihime

	This place was Completely Unsuitable and if it weren't one of the only ways to get to the human world for her work, Kithryn would have avoided it like The Plague it was. She was almost disgusted enough to pick up the hem of her skirt as she walked, overdressed and glittering as always, through a dark hallway in search of an exit. No two Houses were the same and you always had to exert just the smallest bit of pressure on the FEAR here to get where you wanted to go. Tonight it was being Especially Difficult and the reason for that was made clear when the Vile, Nasty, Awful Human bumped directly into her. Immediately she hissed and drew back with her pale hands curling into claws of affront and anger. "Violator!" _ p a o cx

	The sudden accusation got him to skip the apology he'd been about to make and take a step back, eyes narrowed at whoever he'd bumped into. "The ******** you callin' a 'violator'?" he shot, holding Zephira out in front of him because he had a feeling things were gonna get nasty in a few minutes. "Don't think we actually wanna touch any one of you." The trainee pointed his sword at her, lip curled out of sheer irritation. "That was an accident, fight me if you've got a problem." nessihime

	Dark, cold eyes glittered like a winter's night as she changed her stance, the shape of her gown flowing around her, shifting and changing into something much more elegant and suited for death. "Gladly." She summoned her own weapon and slashed out at the Hunter. She wasn't grinning or even malicious but there was an exultation nonetheless in her eyes. Removing an Undesirable Element was worth the fact that she was going to get disgusting Human Blood all over herself. HP: 50/50 DMG: 4 CHG: 1/3 _ p a o cx

	Shifting and changing clothes probably shouldn't have surprised him given he was in the Haunted House, but it distracted him enough that he didn't react fast enough to her attack, causing him to wince as her weapon cut into his shield. It was always a strange sensation to feel the pain but not have anything on his body to show for it. Battle scars seemed like that should have been a point of pride... Both he and Zephira were fine with her reaction, the latter being a bit more eager and quietly chanting something about, "more fear, yes, more fear," as he sidestepped and aim his blade at her shoulder. HP: 46/50 DMG: 3 CHG: 1/3 nessihime
