They draw their power from the earth; as long as they are among nature, they are connected to their energy source. They have antlers that are made of living tree branches. Coracias and her sister Coraciidae are named for the genus and family, respectively, of rollers. Rollers are an Old World family of near passerine birds named for the aerial acrobatics some of these birds perform during courtship or territorial flights. They resemble crows in size and build, and share the colorful appearance of kingfishers and bee-eaters, blues and pinkish or cinnamon browns predominating. Trivia: Towhee is the "mini-me" of Sparrow. She was called to the Fountain of Secrets after Sparrow found a shiny stone and offered it to the druid of the fountain.
The eastern towhee (Pipilo erythrophthalmus) is a large New World sparrow. Its song is a short drink your teeeeea lasting around one second, starting with a sharp call "drink!" and ending with a short trill "teeeeea". The name "towhee" is onomatopoeic description of one of the towhee's most common calls, a short two-part call rising in pitch and sometimes also called a "chewink" call.
Towhee is the fourth pae I received as a gift - she follows Malek (2013) from Tart/Wolf, Limos (2019) from Staff, and Maikaʻi (2019) from Mene/Shadi.

Trivia: Sonorila's coloration is based on the European starling (Sturnus vulgaris vulgaris), the nominate subspecies of the common starling. It is a medium-sized passerine bird in the starling family, Sturnidae. It is a noisy bird, especially in communal roosts and other gregarious situations, with an unmusical but varied song. Its gift for mimicry has been noted in literature including the Mabinogion and the works of Pliny the Elder and William Shakespeare.

Trivia: Sulid, Sula, longtailed, blue, Palu, & great are the non-cannon children of Daisicle, Elros, and Boobies.
Sulid's coloration is based on the blue-footed booby (Sula nebouxii). It is a marine bird native to subtropical and tropical regions and easily recognizable by its distinctive bright blue feet, which is a sexually-selected trait. Males display their feet in an elaborate mating ritual by lifting them up and down while strutting before the female. The species practices asynchronous hatching, which results in a growth inequality and size disparity between siblings, leading to facultative siblicide in times of food scarcity.
Sulid's familiar Palu's coloration is based on the marsh tit (Poecile palustris). They prefer large areas of moist, broadleaved woodland, often oak or beech, although they can occupy wet alder woodland, riverside trees, parks and gardens or orchards. Its mating performances in the bushes and branches are just as neat and agile as those of other tits - males often hangs upside down by one leg. They are monogamous and often pair for life.
