Astronomy : A
- Alana always enjoyed astronomy and the professor was nice. She put in an average amount of study time for the exam. As it turns out that’s all she really needed to manage an Acceptable grade in the subject. Given it was more or less a filler class for her Alana was content with that.
Charms : O
- Charms was always Alana’s specialty when it came to her spell casting classes. She had a certain ability for it that she wasn’t about let go to waste during the exam. She found charms to be complexed while being easy to overcome. Proving she was good at charms, Alana managed to gain herself an Outstanding grade.
Defence Against the Dark Arts : A
- Alana only continued in defense because she felt it was important or rather her friends felt it was important. Although she was hardly the best at it. With a lot of studying she managed to get at least an Acceptable grade. Not wanting to fail she was fine with the borderline Acceptable.
Herbology : A
- Plants were always fun in Alana’s opinion. When it came to her NEWT level exam she put in a solid effort. With defense taking up a lot of her time she let up on studying fully on plants. As such despite her interest in plants she only managed an acceptable grade. More then enough for this Hufflepuff.
Electives
Care of Magical Creatures : E
- With a passion for animals in general magical creatures were no exception. Alana didn’t know everything about them, but she knew enough to fair well with interacting with them. Her reports were great as expected from her and she did decently well with the creatures she interacted with. Although she couldn’t say for certain she could handle certain more dangerous creatures. As such she managed to at the very least Exceed Expectations.
Healing : A
- Alana didn’t mind healing but didn’t plan on becoming a healer. It was a good skill to have if she couldn’t use defensive magic as well as most. With NEWT level it got more complexed and the Hufflepuff put in a good effort to get at least a passing Acceptable grade.
Music : O
- With music Alana was very focused on the composition of it. She knew sound and rhythm being a writer. It was no surprise that she focused a majority of her time on studying for her NEWT. Having to write out a composition and then get instruments to play it was something she found rather easy to do. As such it was no surprise that she managed to receive an Outstanding for her efforts.
Mythology : E
- Alana was overly good at paying attention to myths and things given her love of writing. As such when it came to writing her Mythology NEWT she had no trouble recalling on that she could showcase creatively. She managed to Exceed Expectations for this one.
