Charms : E
- Charms was the one branch of magic that Candace was good at. Despite being good and putting in the effort to study charms was not always easy. She did managed to Exceed Expectation which she was happy to do.
Defence Against the Dark Arts : A
- Candace was never perfect at defense. Her wand always gave her trouble and she honestly only continued in it because Kimberly talked her into it. That didn’t mean she was about to let herself fail another test score. Luckily, her hard work paid off as she managed to get an Acceptable grade.
Herbology : A
- Candace had nothing against plants and they didn’t seem to have anything against her. However, her clumsy nature did tend to get in the way and she managed to have a bit of trouble come the exam. Luckily, she manage to pull through to get an Acceptable grade.
Electives
Art : O
- When it came to any sort of art form Candace enjoyed it to the fullest. It was no surprise that she managed an Outstanding well doing very little studying. Art was definitely something she loved, and it showed during this NEWT level exam.
Care of Magical Creatures : A
- Candace was decent when it came to the care of magical creatures. Though she didn’t fight that hard to out do herself in the class. As such when it came time to do her NEWT level testing she only managed an Acceptable grade. For Candace that was just fine by her.
Music : O
- Music came rather easily for Candace. She spent a lot of time doing her own music with her friends. Although her skill was more singing and dancing she knew her way around musical composition. Luckily so with the studying she did she managed herself an Outstanding grade.
Wandlore : E
- Candace found wands to be interesting and the craft to be rather enjoyable. As such she worked very hard to understand the art of wand making. Her effort paid off giving herself a satisfying Exceeding Expectations. For someone who has no plans on becoming a wandmaker she did quite well.
