To the southwest of Seizan itself by scarcely 100 meters, there is a plantation with four small buildings that serve both as cover and hiding spots. They are each only two stories high however, and are set up at in a four pointed square. The surrounding land is covered in snow and ice, and the mildly steep incline makes ground all around the area difficult to navigate the farther you move out into the plantation. Far enough to the east lies the Shizoku farm, and traveling north from the farm leads to the roads close to Seizan, and further north still leads to more rough terrain and The Mill.

At long last they had arrived in the AO. Coming in from the south west the medical and support squad soon found themselves looking at the Yashamaru plantation. Mizuki knew the place fairly well. They were wealthy, more so than most of the rest of the town. They'd also always looked down on her as the daughter of a whore, valuing their pedigree and the name Yashamaru over the value of human life. It was for that reason that she suspected collaboration. Emerald eyes scanned the area, looking for any signs of UHV activity. It was possible they would use the buildings for their purposes or even provide guards for the Yashamaru. Either way she didn't want to get caught unawares in the open. Which on that point her eyes occasionally glanced skyward for the weapon that had been employed on Endaishima. "Ah Kane-kun... welcome to my hometown. Sorry it's a bit of a mess right now. I heard there's a pest problem~" The joke was more than likely her form of dealing with the grief of seeing her deserted place of upbringing.
Pulling her tactical goggles down from her forehead she tapped a button on the side. "Test. Test. Daddy can you read me?" Hopefully the radio wasn't been jammed yet or at all. If it wasn't she'd be able to really their current position to Shiro. After listening for a response she turn to her subordinates and say, "Sound off quietly boys, let mommy hear you and nobody else."

He had to admit, he looked quite odd. A skinny red-head carrying a bow almost a tall as he was while wearing a lab coat was definitely not normal. As they approached the Plantation he knocked an arrow- an oaken projectile with dark red plumes coming off the sides. If anyone decided to pop up and surprise them, they would soon find it buried in their chest. As Mizuki talked, Cason kept scanning the area as well. He had fallen to the rear of the group, providing overwatch with his long-range capabilities. "Cason reporting it" He said, responding to Mizuki's request. The fight was about to begin for them, he could feel it...

___"Ah, finally taking me to meet your family, eh? Took ya long enough." He whispered into his mic, one hand on his collar, the other's fingers gently dancing on the hilt of his knife. Indulgence was always the best policy when Mizuki obviously needed something, and he would be a fool to miss what it was at present. Wry, welcomely distracting jokes aside, he was equally on edge a couple dozen feet to her flank. He wasn't meant for this particular role. He wasn't muscle. A wealth of genjutsu and quiet blades? If he didn't pair so well with Mizuki it'd be obvious he belonged in an advance team, Genin or no. Warding off attackers as part of a moving group? Better a ninjutsu user. Kaneo would have to leave the group and move on his own to be most effective, and some of his genjutsu didn't discriminate, at least not without better training. He'd have to be careful, and that unfortunately that meant he'd be limited too. He cursed the plans that got them in this situation under his breath as he released the main switch on his radio, golden eyes glancing over towards their squad's leader.

They had found themselves at the Yashamaru Plantation as was mentioned in the earlier briefing. Whether it was as per his comment made in the strategy meeting or whether it was simply by naturally happenstance the subject matter of whether or not it was occupied or not and whether or not its inhabitants have defected remained an unknown factor the squid would rely on Mizuki to relay via her sensory prowess. As far as things stood right now reckless proposals for immediate occupation was out of the question.
Recollecting dossier the main offensive force the lot of them had was the commander, himself, and axel. Although Toso could only draw assumptions of Mizuki's combat abilities not having seen them in person, and as for Kaneo, the 'aura' he seemed to emit wasn't that one would typically sense in a warrior. Of course he wasn't one to talk, if anything the squid at first glance would appear anything but capable. He'd made a few of skill sets known to Mizuki ala the meeting, whether or not she could consider finding any of them useful currently would be up to her. Perhaps his penchant for ghosting through terrain could prove beneficial for infiltration of the buildings to gather information on whatever she sensed inside if anything. That is if he was actually willing to spend the chakra to conceal his presence from sensory detection, less of course if any sensors weren't already aware. Though currently if such were the case the lot of them would have been compromised long already. Well maybe albeit Toso himself who took it upon himself to take the precaution upon their approach towards the plantation to provide himself something of a cushion against detection via Kagerou perhaps his sound off may have even come as surprise to Mizuki.

As the team enters the plantation things would seem almost too quiet. Though in the distance the detonation of lightning and the faint screams of the wounded and dying would pierce the silence like a lance. Thought the metallic coppery smell of blood would grow the closer they got to the four buildings in the plantation. As far as was known, the owner of Yamashiro was a shady one though his exact connections were only suspected by the teams leader. Would they investigate the smell? Or hold their position.~
Mizuki held her position once she could smell the scent of blood on the air. The radios were working which was handy though she'd be careful to relay too much over them as she had no idea who could be listening in. Shiro even managed to get through uninterrupted as well. So now she knew what the explosion in the center of the town was at least. Though it wasn't as if they quite ready to take on any patients since this initial area wasn't even clear yet. "Watch any movement, I'm going to scan the buildings with a quickie~" Chakra soon gathered within her body before being dispersed out to a kilometer away. Certainly enough distance to cover the whole of the plantation.

While things remained quiet in the area after the explosion died down leaving flames lingering, the smell of blood remained. However, while normally Mizuki's sensory jutsu would have picked up on any chakra in the area, it did not send any returns. If every living thing had chakra, then how come it was not picking them up~ It wasnt sensory jamming or interference~
___Kaneo's eyes shifted imperceptibly, charging with chakra. He scanned the area carefully, looking for leftover chakra trails. It was a way to peer back into the past, but it wouldn't do any good if he found something and there was no one around. They were a support group, there wouldn't be chasing involved. It might help clear the area or lead them to someone they sensed, speaking of which. "Got anything on your end Zuki?" He asked, hoping the squad leader's sensory abilities would help him narrow his focus to a more productive area.

The smell of blood seemed to hit them all around the same time. It was omnipotent- seeming to originate from both nowhere and everywhere. When Mizuki stopped, he suspected she was using one of her sensory techniques to try to figure out what was going on. He kept his bow at the ready, but in the meanwhile he increased his sense of smell by several magnitudes via a Medical Technique he had learned earlier. With this, he should be able to sniff out where the scent of blood was coming from, as well as the location of anyone moving nearby. And, if this was a genjutsu, it's effects would be severely lessened...
Mizuki quietly shook her head. There weren't any signs of chakra within the buildings. Typically that meant nothing was alive since she had yet to encounter a living being that didn't emit a chakra signature. Combine that with the coppery smell in the air and well, the most obvious answer is usually the right one. More than likely they were going to find some dead bodies. "I'm not getting any chakra... probably got bodies in there." Mizuki was unusually serious in how she spoke now, perhaps it was the threat of combat that made her shift to using how other people talk, or simply the demands of leadership in a serious situation. No matter they were going to have to make sure the area was secure.
"Kane-kun~ You and I are going to clean out the houses. Can you get some eyes in there and signal me if you find any UHV. I'll steam the insides if they're are. Caso-kun, Bloop-kun just stay on your guard never know who might be searching for us." With that said she stepped forward quietly towards the house, using her chakra to stay atop of the snow as if it water. That way it did not crunch underfoot and she could silently approach the buildings.

___Kaneo nodded solemnly, noting Mizuki's significantly subdued attitude. Finely manicured hands drew a couple kunai from their spot on his hip smooth as liquid. He walked cautiously ahead of the group, silently thanks to the shoes gifted him by his previous squad leader. The Mugen stopped short of the buildings themselves, simply finding a better position to send his sight away. Focus points form on each of the kunai, and the flew through the thin paper walls to find purchase further in the structures. The genin shifted his vision to one, then the other, gathering what information he could. At least it would spare the others the grisly fate of those within the houses. Two down, two to go, hopefully no one would let him get his head cut off. Fingers wrapped around the hilt of his sword to steady a nervous hand as he tried his best not to let the detachment from his actual body distract him from the rest of his senses.

As Mizuki approached the first building the smell would only grow stronger, as expected anyway. On the topic of smells, Cason boosting his sense of smell would turn out to bite him squarely on the butt, but it would not be useless. It would confirm that the smells were in fact coming from the buildings, shortly before the overwhelming stench of blood and corpse would overwhelm him likely causing him to vomit~
As Kaneo's focus points gave him insight and view into the building he would be rewarded with the sight of more then a few dead bodies with blood pooled on the floor. Though from the angle which his view came, he would not be able to tell what exactly it was that killed them. Only that they were definitely dead, and Mizuki would confirm their identity as the people who ran and farmed the Yashamaru plantation, if given their description.

A pair had half landhopped half limped in. Jay was still in bad shape, but a few expenditures of his ability to heal his own body had slowly stopped him from outright passing out and going into shock. "KANEO! MIZUKI!" Jeon yelled, completely unbelievably loudly. It was half due to the explosion, and half due toher lack of self control in sage mode, which had already began to wear off as soon as they deduced, for themselves, that there was no danger. "We got a man down!" she called in the direction that she had sensed the two of them before her apely features mostly receded back tot he normal Jeon. Jay, no longer surging with natural chakra, fell fully on her shoulder, and despite her strength she stumbled, struggling to keep him up. "It's Jay!" she called between lifting him up. She couldn't feel the subtle cues of his consciouness, scolding her for being loud anymore. He was awake, but fading fast enough that he couldn't maintain their synchronous state.
The scent of blood was not lost on either of them, but they deduced that everyone here was dead besides her allies and as such realistically ignored it as best they could.

Mizuki waited intently for Kaneo to signal her on whether or not she needed to fill the room with steam. However before she could get answer Jeon showed up on the scene with a series of loud yells. At first Mizuki was pissed. They hadn't secured the area yet and needed to make sure it was secure. "Caso-kun! First aid, go now! Kane-kun gimme what you got quick!" Such a cutie being down was certainly disheartening but it was good that they had made it this far. Mentally she had to prepare herself for breaching the complex however.
