Tatsu growled slightly at Amaranth's approach, but calmed down slightly when Night offered no resistance to the other girl's help. Instead he and Circe simply continued their protective hovering while Amaranth helped Night up.

"Hnng," She grunted slightly as her hand rose to cover the wound on the side of her head, which was still oozing large amounts of blood, "Wha....what happened?"

Benga, having gotten separated from Sub in the midst of the chaos unfolding out by Sub stumbles upon the both of them. "What happened to him?" He asks, shaking his head mutely before moving forward to help Blizz remove the razor sharp wire from the currently unconscious hybrid. "We've got to move." He understates. "They've brought in some kind of... monster from underneath the earth." Saying it was one thing, but Blizz was probably able to sense it.

As I continued to work getting the wire off of Darts, Weavile called to me. "Huh? What is it?" It wasn't a moment passed until I got my answer. "You? What-how...wait. Where's Sub!?" I spoke up. I nearly fell over and my senses tripped hard once again, even more intense than last time. It was a presence I haven't felt since....... "Oh...freakin' hell...Zygarde..." I said. If Zygarde was here, then that meant Lysandre was too. He actually was ballsy enough to come here himself. "Of all the..." Quickly I re-doubled my efforts, trying to get the wire off of Darts, being assisted by Benga this go-round until eventually we managed to get the wire off. "We got to go. Now." I said, throwing Darts over my shoulder. I tread my way through the debris and managed to get back out of the building. I needed somewhere where I can dump Darts for the moment. Freth was still out there.

------------

Speaking of the Articuno female, she looked off towards the distance as if she was staring down the Zygarde. "So that's what Blizzard was feeling back on Alola...holy sh-" She looked towards Sub, listening to the plan he had, only to realize something. "Wait, hold on!" She said as she fumbles with the Hydregon's Pokeball, trying to get a hold of it for a couple of seconds. She was caught a little off guard. "You don't plan on actually trying to capture the thing NOW are you?" It was an answer she wouldn't get as she watched Sub run off. "That suicidal son of a-UGH! Fine." She recalls her Glalie, still a little drained from the sudden Hyper Beam attack then rushed in with Agility, taking out another Pokeball. "Cryoganal!" she shouted, tossing the Pokeball out. In a flash, the killer snowflake was out and ready to go. "Cryoganal! Haze!"

The Cryoganal would bellow out and out from it a thick, dark, icy haze would shroud the field to give the Snagems about cover. To say that Freth wasn't confident in this would be a grand understatement. She had to wait, now, if only a moment, for her to make her move. Zygarde needed to move in on Registeel first...

Aria would groggily come to as she was in midair and flying along in the arms of a big black Charizard. Looking up at the Pokemon and the person steering them around, she would simply settle into her small ride as she recuperated. Might as well let someone else do the hard work for a moment.

"I don't know how much power I can give you against Zygarde, but I'll do my best," Keiko promised, feeling less certain about Sub's plan than Freth was. Before she could execute, however, she felt something bouncing around in her head, which was the feeling she got when I was trying to talk to her through Rala.

Everything okay up there? There's nothing left to do or fight over here, so I'm ready to help you out if you need it.

I think we will. Sub's about to fight... capture? Zygarde, and asked me to use Helping Hand as many times as I've got Pokemon that can use it. Had me set Natalia aside in case we needed to get out of the area. Even has his... Poe? protecting us.

I'm not getting started on Sub's craziness with everything else going on right now, but I can throw my hands into your pile. Gimme a sec.

While Rala wasn't able to teleport beside Keiko due to Poe's shield, she was able to teleport beside it. Since I was a Snagem, I was able to walk inside of the barrier once I was there to do so. I left Rala out and let Angeal and Yuki out as well.

"What's the deal, boss?" Angeal asked, clearly unnerved by the massive energy hotspots in the area.

"I"m sure you can sense the two legendaries in the area, I said, speaking to all three Pokemon. "I want you three using Helping Hand on the Steel-type one. Rala, try not to use any Psychic-type energy for a while. If things get real crazy, I'm relying on you to get at least me out of here, since Keiko can rely on Natalia for that."

"Yes, master," Rala said telepathically, her voice significantly weaker than what it usually was.

"Terashi, Rala's-" Keiko started to say.

"Worn out, I know," I sighed. "Between taking out most of the landmines and helping in the fight against a Gengar hybrid of all things, she doesn't have much Psychic-type energy left in her. She's never been active for this long before. I figure if worse comes to worst, she can at least get me far enough away to safely call for a Claydol escort. But Helping Hand uses Normal-type energy, so she should be strong enough to use that, at least."

Sub watched as his allies' Pokemon empowered Registeel, the man feeling the increase pressure the legend was giving off from thanks to the Helping Hands, his hair standing up from the static electricity in the air from the Pokemon's charging and the Magnemite it drew from. However, the Snagem leader felt like it still wasn't enough for what he planned, they needed more, if not just to be careful. That's when he noticed Yuki.

"Terashi!" Sub shouted as he swung his backpack around to the front, unzipping it and snatching out a green crystal from inside. "I was going to give you this during our next training session, planned on taking us to Alola for it but unfortunately I don't see that happening any time soon. I hate to ask you of this but use it to evolve Yuki and have her cling to Registeel, he needs more electricity and these Magnemite aren't packing enough. An Electric Terrain would also help make up for the lack of." He said, tossing the stone to the fellow Snagem.

I grabbed the thrown object, listening to Sub's words. A Thunderstone? I wondered how Sub knew I was planning to take Yuki to Alola to evolve her, but given that he knew I had the talent to be a Channeler - hell, he was the one that DISCOVERED that talent! - I didn't question it vocally. 'Yuki, come here," I told her, kneeling down to talk to her.

"Here, I want you to hold this," I told her. "I was going to save this for later, but... well, desperate times call for desperate measures."

"It's okay," I heard someone say with a really high-pitched voice. Before I could say anything, a massive headache rocked my brain as Yuki was enveloped in a bright light - a sign of her forced evolution.

"Terashi!" I heard Keiko yell after being out of it for a moment. Of course she'd be worried about me. "I'm fine," I muttered as she helped me rise to my feet - already, the headache was passing. I looked to Yuki to give her a command, but what I saw confused the hell out of me.

She wasn't standing or sitting - or touching the ground at all! Instead, she was floating around like a kid with a new toy, her feet resting on her tail. Her fur was significantly darker than a Raichu's normally was. Realizing that is what connected the dots in my mind.

"How in the hell?" I blurted out, realizing that Yuki had evolved into an Alolan Raichu - despite evolving in Unova! I had so many questions, but feeling Keiko's hand on my shoulder made me realize that I didn't have time to ask them.

"Terashi, we've got bigger problems right now," Keiko said, which helped me focus enough to stand up and rub my forehead (for good measure).

"Right," I sighed. "Yuki, I need you to use Electric Terrain, and then cling to Registeel to help it draw more Magnemites."

"Yes, sir!" that voice said again - likely Yuki since she had the Psychic-type energy needed to communicate telepathically, though that had me wondering how she talked to me before evolving.

Yuki did as told, filling the area around Registeel with a magnetic field via Electric Terrain before riding her tail up to Registeel's shoulder and clinging to it, using Thunder Wave to increase the magnetic field around Registeel without hurting or paralyzing it by not using the move on it directly.

The massive Zygarde Complete's head swivels like a compass, coming to a dead stop at magnetic North, the location of Sub's Registeel along with the Haze that was blanketing the area around the tin man. Its footsteps shake the earth, displaying its massiveness in a far more visceral way than mere size, easily matching the height of the buildings it was striding past as it approached the cluster of Snagems on the ground. It cocked its head for a moment, seeming to examine them with a beady white eye for a moment. Its gaze was fixed on the faintly glowing Registeel - the only thing visible above the cloud of ice. It lets out a bellow then after a moment, bright green projectiles flaking off before taking flight all over its body - each one launching into the sky before plummeting downward towards the Registeel... and whoever else happened to be beneath that cloud. The high velocity of the Thousand Arrows had to be seen to be believed.

That was Freth's cue. "Alright, first off. You." Freth tossed the Pokeball Sub handed to her, releasing the dark dragon, Hydregon. "Alright, look, I know. Not your trainer. He's actually down there and needs to pester that thing." Freth said pointing towards Zygarde. "My recommendation? Hit it as hard as you can with the biggest Dragon attack you got, got it?" She really didn't know what this thing was capable of, let alone what Sub taught it. "I'll be helping..." She then said before rushing down to go towards her Cryoganal. "Cryoganal! Blizzard attack!" she shouted. The angry snowflake bellowed out, unleaashing a massive snow storm upon the Zygarde.

--------

Meanwhile, as I made distance from the chaos that was happening at the port, I started to have a unfortunate realization. "Blast it, did everyone leave?" I asked, not sensing as many presences as I once did. Dull was apparently gone too, weird enough. Did Zygarde really make everyone turn tail other than the ones that were fighting? Then again, I was carrying Darts and I'm having to look after Benga as well. I couldn't leave the two here like this. Bah. Left with no choice, I continued on for safety for the two on my watch.

Hydreigon would join Freth in her assault against Zygarde, the savage beast wasting no time in displaying its powers as it charge up three orbs of draconic energy in each mouth, the orbs then fired upward with a roar. The individual masses of energy would meet in mid air and combine together, exploding into a size much greater than what their combined mass should have produced. With an angry roar and a thrash of its heads the amass energy above the dragon would come hurtling down towards the legendary Zygarde at a blinding speed, the energy mass taking on the form of a dragon's head as it descended upon its target.

The Blizzard attack would grab the Zygarde's attention in just the slightest, the beast letting out an annoyed moan. It would serve as a distraction however as the Draco Meteor slammed into its head, sending it stumble and swaying on the freshly formed icy ground, knocking it off balance just enough to ruin the trajectory of its Thousand Arrows. While they did do some damage to the beast it was clearly not enough to trouble it but they did succeed in possibly preventing catastrophic damage to their allies.

-----

The thousand projectiles would come raining down on the haze cloud which concealed the Snagems, each one piercing the cloud with an explosive impact on the ground. Several had struct the Protect dome conjured up by Poe and while it took a lot of effort and energy for the Mega Sableye to keep the Protect stabilized against the assault of a legend it did manage to keep it up. For how much longer however was uncertain.

As for Registeel "miraculously" it was relatively unscathed, though a miracle it was not. Gardy had arrived just in time and with a well timed Ally Switch or two had managed to move Registeel out of the way, taking the attack in its place. While she did manage to teleport out of the way of the first one, only taking damage from the explosive shock wave, she would not be so lucky as she took the attack dead on the second, the Gardevoir knocked out without question. Sub was quick to recall her, and while he knew she would survive he did worry about any long term damage she may have suffered. He couldn't worry about that right now.

"Pallas! Take me up!" He cried out, tossing into the air a Dusk Ball which popped open to reveal one Mandibuzz, the buzzard promptly grabbing onto the shoulders of his vest and snatching him up into the air. As he passed through the Protect dome he called out to Registeel. "Get ready! Use Lock-On and target the left side of its chest, that green eye-mark." He instructed the Regi as it began to crackle with more and more power as greater numbers of Magnemite were drawn to it thanks to Terashi's new Raichu, even a few Magneton showed up. Right now though it was focusing on its designated target, its eyes blinking rapidly as it prepared to strike true with its next attack.

The Mandibuzz would carry Sub closer towards Zygarde, near where Freth and his Hydreigon, Valdemar were engaging it. Despite know how risky it was for him to get this close he had no other choice for what he had planned. "I hope this works..." He muttered to himself as the beast began to reorient its self, despite the two super effective hits it just took it had recovered quickly and was raring for way more than that. "Lykas! Are you in position!? Now! Soak this thing!" He said through his SNAG as he fumbled it up to his ear while he struggled to plug an Electric Gem into the new port on his Snag Machine.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 17, 2018 8:14 pm
Lykas heard Sub's call through his SNAG just as he and Roxie escaped the warehouse they were in. "Damn!" He barked out, quickly grabbing a Ball from his waist. "GREY! I need a switch here! Send me Kamoana!" He ordered the Pokemon, scanning the Pokeball in his hands, allowing the machine in his hand to exchange Talullah's Pokeball for the Luxury Ball in question. Surprisingly, no questions or smart alec remarks came from GREY before, during or after but it left Lykas with exactly what he needed. "I am so glad Sub made sure these things could do that." He told himself.

Spotting Wren nearby, surprisingly enough, Lykas waved to him. "Go with Roxie! Give her whatever help you can if you want to save your region. I'm needed somewhere else." He told the brunet before bolting off, releasing Sphynx along the way and jumping on her back. "Magnet Rise!" He ordered. The Luxray nodded and with a spark, she began to run on the Earth's electromagnetic waves, cutting down on her friction. With so much on the line, Lykas had to hurry. "Wild Charge!" The Electric-type cloaked herself in lightning, her speed increasing as she used the electrical energy to further repel the Earth's magnetic waves and propelling herself forward. Lykas grit his teeth through the pain as the lightning flowed through his watery form and, when he got close, he hurled the Luxury Ball he'd switched out for into the air, dropping off Sphynx's back. "Soak, Kamoana!" He exclaimed as the ball burst open. Those nearby might be surprised to see the light continuing to expand for several seconds before a Wailord formed in the air, dropping to the ground with a colossal "thud" even as it sprayed thousands of gallons of water from it's spout at Zygarde, saturating the Legendary with so much of the stuff that it's very typing was altered. While Kamoana did her stuff, Sphynx leaped into the air toward Registeel, allowing the lightning cloak of her Wild Charge to envelop her without trailing off, using it as a sort of battery for Registeel to draw from as she floated just under it and lent her electrical charge to the titanic Steel Behemoth.

While the Wailord landed a direct hit with the that Soak attack Sub still had his worries that it might not be enough. Sure, to a normal Pokemon a Soak would turn it into a Water type for a bit no questions asked, but this was a legend and while a Ground type the most he assumed it would do is dampen its resistances, for the type of blow he wanted to deal he needed more insurance, luckily he had brought just that. "Here goes nothing! Let's see if this stolen Cipher tech pays off!" He exclaimed, pointing his Snag Machine gloved palm at the beast, aiming for its breast as Pallas got him in close enough to almost ensure a hit.

The machine would crackle with electricity briefly before firing off a small orb of energy which would slam into the 'eye' pattern on the legend's chest, the blast getting no response for the legend and very little fanfare outside of leaving behind a glowing yellow spot. Did it work? Only one way to find out. "Everyone get to safety! Now, Registeel! Charge Beam!"

"Regi gi gi..." Moaned the Iron Pokemon as it took in one last long draw of power from the sources of electricity around it, tapping out the Magnemite and Magneton, sucking dry the Snagem Pokemon with it, as well as completely absorbing the Electric Terrain which crackled underneath. Pointing both palms towards the Zygarde, which was now preparing to unleash another attack as it gave off its characteristic green glow and the earth beneath it rumbled violently, an erratic mass of electricity would begin to form between them.

With a final high-pitched ear splitting beep Registeel would unleash the massive amounts of energy it had stockpiled, the force of the blast being fired sending out a massive shock wave of raw energy and creating an EMP wave pulsating out from its source and its path, electronics failing throughout the city, their SNAGs no exception but it was necessary collateral damage. As the blast was fired off Pallas would throw Sub back down to the ground and into the Protect dome, Sub recalling the bird in midair as he was sent on a collision course for the ground, a certain Spiritomb appearing from the shadows to slow his dissent to a less painful pace.

Hopefully Rala and Kadabra were at the ready to get people to safety as the shock wave of electricity would ignite the the now open fuel tanks, open thanks to one of their newest ilk, Fen. A chain of violent explosions would go off one after another, shaking the complex violently, those inside the Protect dome safe.

While the attack had instantly served its true purpose of crippling Flare and ruining this city for them, at least for awhile, Sub was about to find out if he couldn't get a little extra use out of it as the enormous beam of raw electricity shot towards Zygarde and slammed directly into the glowing spot on its Soaked body. Would the combination of Soak and Flip Shot coupled with the tremendous power of this attack be enough to at least harm it?

The massive Zygarde lets out a screech to match the shockwave that travels through the earth upon impact from the electric javelin, upending more buildings and sending them crumbling to the ground as the very material beneath the Snagems' feet warps. A ring of gaian destruction travels outwards from the clearly very affected legend, as it uses Land's Wrath defensively - adding to the chaos and destruction caused by every ware house and fuel repository bursting into flame upon contact with the electricity, a chain reaction that sends the district into chaos. Most of the civilians had already fled, the 'high' of their Rage Powder escapade wearing off rather quickly. It was going to take Flare more than a little bit of time to contain the raging inferno left behind in Snagem's wake this time.

The Zygarde turns its head to stare down the Snagem leader, an unspoken moment passing as the legend stares into Sub's eyes, cradling the smoking injury to its chest where the Charge Beam had struck. Then, it dives into the ground, becoming one with the terra firma again as it beats a hasty retreat. Clearly it was content to wait out the Soak for the moment to avoid an attack like that again, but if it came back it wasn't going to be quite so nice about it. Plus, if Flare got those tanks that had already fueled up mobilized... looks like it was time to leave.

Roxie was standing beneath the protect dome the entire time, seeing how Wren hadn't managed to evacuate either of them before the fireworks had started. Her mouth hangs wide open, throughout the entirety of the exchange all the way through the oncoming rush of land heading towards them. "Who... what are you people?!" She shouts, high praise coming from a gym leader in the middle of a city turned war zone.

"Take your friend back with you all. Though you may be a true warrior... he seemed to be taken down by a single tangle of barbed wire far too easily. I will find Roxie and ensure she gets to safety. The rest of the Unovan leaders must be brought to bear against this threat. Alder will be in contact, I am sure." Leaving Blizz with that very confusing monologue, Benga dashes off back into the city in search of Roxie. He was a headstrong one after all....

Freth had to make the mad dash back, snatching up her Cryoganal and ran for dear life as the Land's Wrath attack started laying waste to the area. When the attack subsided however, after what felt like an eternity of dodging debris, the Zygarde buries itself under the ground...and Freth didn't think it was over. Not by a long shot. With Zygarde on the strategic withdraw, Freth couldn't help but to breathe a sigh of relief for the moment. "Sub!" She called out over to the Snagem leader. "This might be as good of time to any as to bail out; I don't want to be around if this thing comes back! We barely warded it off to begin with!"

Freth perked up, seeing her SNAG was chiming off, and who it was that was calling her. "Blizzard?"

"Jesus Christ, are you alright?" I asked. "I sensed Zygarde and knowing that you went back towards the docks, then the booming and the rubling and the roaring-just freakin' hell."

"I'm...I'm fine. A little shaken though. DIdn't know if I was going to make it out just now." she said. "I'm leaving, at least." She said, recalling her Cryoganal. "Where are you?"

"About to teleport out. I'm having to carry Darts out of here."

"See you shortly at HQ, then." She stashed her SNAG then bolted herself to get some distance from this place so she too can get her Kadabra to get her out.
