▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|And So Our Story Begins…|├▬ Saiko was born into a practically normal family in Sunagakure. There wasn’t much unique about them as none of his family were shinobi. They were citizens of the Village and nothing more. The only real tragedy happening when Saiko lost his eye in his father's work shop due to an accident. His father runs a store within the city and his mother stayed at home to take care of the children. However, from an early age it seemed that Saiko’s life was not going to take the same route as his parents. It seemed at even at an early age he had an affinity for chakra and not only that but, he wanted to be a Shinobi and protect the village just like the Kazekage. His parents didn’t want this for him but, after much protesting from Saiko, they finally agreed to allow him to join the academy. In the academy he flourished and did much better than his parents expected. He wasn’t the best student but, he did well enough to pass the academy. It was in the academy that he discovered he had the potential to use several Kekkai Genkai’s, an ability that was known to be extremely rare. Saiko took this as a sign that he was meant to be a Shinobi after all. His parents were happy but, extremely worried about their son for obvious reasons. It was almost a death sentence to be a shinobi but, they wanted the best for their son. To show they supported him, they gave him a locket with a single picture in it that had him and his parents together.

The Origin: Sumika developed her talents for Jiton early, mostly to gain revenge on a boy who was teasing her by breaking one of his toys - and using it to thump him in the gut. He was mean anyways, so it was worth it. Lacking a family name, due to being an orphan, she earned the nickname Sumika of the Iron Sand; though this wasn't entirely her idea, she was the one who forcefully propagated it until everyone else got on board the damn bandwagon. Outside of manifesting her abilities at an early age, and being exceptionally hyper, Sumika's life was otherwise normal. That she lacked parents never seemed to bother her, though she has express curiosity about them. For the most part her history is as boring and uneventful as any normal person who tosses around large piles of metal sand for fun. Sure, she fused some door hinges, and messed with some flasks, but who hasn't, am I right? There wasn't something super traumatic and she wasn't the best in her class, but she's done fine so far and that's all that matters.

The Origin A b*****d of muddled birth, Hiroki nonetheless took the Hyuga name. If only to piss them off. He'd heard both of his clans reputations talked about enough that he figured he'd slight them both in one fell swoop. Taint the sacred Hyuga blood, and dishonor his Aburame legacy abandoning their name. A perfect fit for a kid that never fit. Naturally, he also never found a place in a village, swept away to avoid the censure of the Hyuga clan proper. No matter, he fit better on the road anyways. And so he live there, making a bit of a ruckus when he has the chance.

As with the terrain of her homeland, the girl is equally familiar with the village's revered, artful, and complex style of combat puppetry. As a descendant of the ordinarily modest yet dignified clan of Soga and a child of a prior era's "Puppet Brigade of the Hidden Sand" the art of combat puppetry is thought to be treated as second nature with intent to revive fame for the practice. Proof of the Soga's goal to reaffirm sense of glory to puppetry is alive in Sadayo's goal to be regionally recognized with her puppets as a fearsome master. Sadayo's overall interest of puppets manifested at the age of seven when she was immersed in the art of Bunraku: a form of traditionally puppetry which is said to take years succeed to masterful manipulation.
Her family maintains a small theater which presented Sadayo with many close-up encounters with colorful costumes draped on characters depicting daring heroes, spirits, vengeful and jealous enemies. Outside the theater, her interest was duly furthered into the combat spectrum by demonstrations with chakra strings and displays of puppetry. The girl concluded that combat puppets are an art-form that daringly rivals the martial arts in the right pair of hands. The thought that she too could learn how to manipulate artificial forms to do her bidding was enticing. To follow a path different from other's who will have to embrace rigorous physical training was a glorious alternative. Sadayo could one day boast glory for the Hidden Sand with only a flex of her finger tips.
[Day One] Her introduction with the Ayame, the Lady Kazekage, was swift. The girl would recall the unusual (and inspirational) golems littered about the woman's office. Ayame advised her to go the Academy to meet the others. Unknowingly, Sadayo was being sent to the a rally of genin and instructors who had all gathered for one purpose: to meet their squadrons. The puppeteer arrived, began to study, and kept to herself while other genin poured into the hall. She would listen to them so easily fork over information of their identities and bloodlines to one another. Meanwhile Sadayo was feigning interest in a book and finding herself unimpressed with their advanced lineage under cover of the book's pages. The puppeteer was blissfully unaware that her turn to meet her team was on its way.

Her world was plainly ripped from her as her puppeteer parents tore Sadayo and her sister from the Land of Wind admits a chaotic whirl that nearly cost each of them their lives. The nation was quickly becoming a "lost cause" and losing their skins wasn't worth defending or enduring the scent of gunpowder from the conquering power. Sadayo simply won't let go of what was lost and her long-time loyalties are more tough to sever than she ever imagined. To Sadayo, the island nation her family had no choice but to take refuge in persists to feel like an alien planet more than any sort of home.

Nindo: "Quickly and correctly; mostly quickly, though!" Personality: Zhi is mostly known as a hyperactive girl who likes to keep on the move. Likewise, she is well known for her impulsive actions as well as tendency to openly speak her mind. Being the honest knucklehead she is, Zhi has an arguably bad habit of being unnecessarily blunt with her opinions and observations. The young go-getter can't help but keep herself busy in one way or another simply because she feels that doing things faster leaves more time for other experiences in the paltry amount of hours in a day. Despite this habit of hers, Zhi is actually quite attentive to detail because she has learned to loath repeating tasks because she got them wrong the last time it was attempted. At least she can bare to hang tight and focus if something she's doing is interesting or important. Her chipper attitude had been mellowed out somewhat after the tragedies which befell Sunagakure after the war with UHV, but she is still mostly an optimistic and outgoing lass.

Her home is what it should be. Her parents noticed her keen awareness of her surroundings from a young age and enrolled her in the village's ninja program as soon as possible. Since then "school" life was full of fun and interesting experiences. Zhi has always given one-hundred and ten percent of her effort toward her lessons and plans, but more than that for her peers and teachers. Although, she'd be well-known by them as the antsy girl who had to hop or jog in place during class because she hated sitting still for the whole time. Now that she's graduated to become a ninja, Zhi expects that things will get even more interesting and definitely more difficult. She won't shy away from the challenge though! No way!

Nindo: "Let justice be done, though the heavens fall." Personality: Kenshin's two primary personality traits are a respect for authority and a hatred of rebellion. While these two features may be good on their own Kenshin takes them to such extreme lengths that they become almost evil. He is obsessed with upholding the law and punishing those who break it. Kenshin is a man of sterling moral character and honesty to the point where he would turn himself into the authorities if he broke the law. He is absolute and fanatical in his misguided and self-destructive pursuit of justice.
He lacks a sense of self-reflection because reflective thought through reading and intellectual pursuits are their own form of rebellion, which Kenshin shuts out. In addition to a lack of self-awareness and exploration, he lives an entirely solitude and chaste existence with no amusement. His only vice is the occasional cigarette, almost to remind others that he is human. His main form of joy in life is exacting justice and performing his duties which he is meticulous about. He is incredibly focused on his profession as a law enforcer in order to atone for what is missing in himself.
His entire existence consists of walking and watching, he is the sentinel, the watchman, the guardian, and the executor of justice. His moral foundation is based upon legalism, the law is his source of moral distinction. In addition to this, he is also a deeply religious man which is a piece of his complex need for authority. He is fiercely loyal to Arashigakure and the Arashikages and will carry out any order to its full conclusion. He would take his own life if the Raikage ordered it.
Since he was born inside of a prison to convict parents he has an inferiority complex because he was born outside of the social order of a village. Since he was brought into the world as an outsider he saw only two ways of dealing with society and that was either by attacking it and guarding it, he chose to guard it with his life. It is because of all of these factors that he is as incredibly hardened as he is. He is incapable of love and companionship in any form because of his harsh upbringing. Kenshin's characteristic hot temper, rage, and wrath are a product of his past that he chooses not to deal with therapeutically and instead use it as fuel for his zealous enforcement of the law.
He is a completely orthodox juggernaut of the law who will never rest until justice is served. Kenshin was born in a prison in Gimangakure to convict parents with his father serving a life sentence and his mother in and out of parole/correctional for petty theft crimes and prostitution. His father, Hayate Hyuuga, was a respectable ninja from Kumogakure who achieved the rank of Jounin and completed a substantial amount of missions for the village. He was beloved by everyone in his community for his rebel charm and wit. Hayate was known by his comrades as the "lone survivor" because he completed five dangerous missions where he was the only squad member to return alive. On the fifth mission, his two best friends from his original Genin squad were brutally killed in front of him and Hayate was left alive.
His immense survivor's guilt and post-traumatic stress overwhelmed him to the point where he ran from the village and became a rogue ninja. Hayate was then considered a dangerous deserter and hunted by the Oinin forces of Kumogakure. Hayate grew tired of being the hunted and sought the become the hunter by becoming a pirate in the Land of Water. Over the course of ten years, Hayate became the captain of the "Black Wind" ship and plundered greatly from the Land of Water. One day, he entered Gimagakure to sell the plunder and enjoy his wealth in a brothel before it was suddenly invaded by the local police and he was apprehended. Hayate was charged with a life sentence in the prison for numerous counts of murder and theft.
Within the prison, Hayate met a captivating gypsy woman named Kimidori who was renowned in Gimagakure for traveling in a caravan, telling fortunes, and orchestrating scams resulting in theft as well as prostitution. Eventually, a child was conceived between them and Kimidori gave birth nine months later. Kimidori raised Kenshin within the prison as well as her caravan in an endless cycle of lawlessness and abuse. Kimidori was eventually locked up for good when Kenshin was six years old. Kenshin grew up in an abusive environment around prisoners, Kimidori's fellow gypsies, and various other unsavory characters. Kimidori and Hayate were neglectful of Kenshin and he had no one to turn to except the prison guards.
The prison guards looked at Kenshin with apathy at best and disdain at worst, but Kenshin viewed them as heroes. With age, he grew to admire them and despise his family. At the age of ten, he would do anything to avoid the other prisoners who would hurt him by assisting the guards with chores like cleaning the cellars. Kenshin would salute and aid the guards at any opportunity and some of them grew to enjoy his dedication and company. By the age of twelve, he was allowed to sleep in the guard barracks and they taught him to read by showing him the legal and disciplinary codes of the prison. While the guards were strict and far from compassionate, Kenshin finally felt at least a slight sense of comfort and belonging. This created an even further rift between him and his parents, but it mattered not to Kenshin.
When he turned to the age of fourteen, he abandoned his family in the prison in the hopes of becoming a sentinel of shinobi. He went to seek out his father's family in Kumogakure and entered the village on their reluctant graces, but changed his last name from Hyuuga to Kosei just to shed the former identity. It was also the condition of the family who did not want a prison urchin to besmirch their noble reputation. Kenshin quickly enrolled in the academy and worked incredibly hard against numerous obstacles, but ended up succeeding despite his many disadvantages in life. Law, order, justice, those were the codes of honor that he lived by. He spent his days at the shinobi academy and his nights learning basic reading, writing, and arithmetic education in tutoring. He also worked odd jobs to make a small income and sustain himself in his run-down apartment in the projects village provided housing.
When he graduated from the academy, Kenshin was given his headband by the Raikage Shiro Chosokabe. Lord Shiro also carved a cloud symbol into his rapier and declared him a guardian of Kumogakure's laws from that day forward. He was honored by this and joined the Kumogakure Police Department (KPD). After doing several police missions with Ada Rio-Kyuri and Hachiro Hirohiko he was sent as second in command of a squadron under first in command Ada. Kenshin, Ada, Hachiro, Selina Rosewater, and Tsukiko Asahina were dispatched to Seizan and witnessed the carnage left by the UHV. Kenshin took Selina and Tsukiko back to the village and alerted the Raikage of the attack. Kenshin then made the choice to follow the Raikage's orders to rebel against the daimyo who would not allow them to attack the UHV in Seizan. They then returned to Seizan and Kenshin teamed up with Selina in an assault force and killed a platoon. When they rendezvoused with the others, Shiro promoted him to Chuunin which was a proud moment in his life.
After the battle and promotion, he re-forged his rapier into a Hyuuga and gentle fist calibrated sword. After the Nibi was released and re-sealed and the daimyo was assassinated, Kenshin joined Jay and Jeon and helped establish Arashigakure. The Chuunin Kenshin fought off daimyo loyalists, revolutionaries, and barbarians while quelling uprisings as a police officer. For his loyal police service and excellence in battle, he was promoted by the Arashikages Jay and Jeon to Jounin and later given the title of ANBU Police Force Initiate. He completed many missions in the Police Force before moving up to Shadow. Now he seeks to become the ANBU Captain and will pave a path of righteous justice before he takes that ultimate title.

At this point the UHV invaded her village and killed many of the people in it. There were a few lucky survivors and then there were the unlucky that were taken because they had special qualities about them. These special qualities being that they had a bloodline, kekkai genkai, etc and that they were of young enough age to be brain washed into following every order the UHV gave them. Vivan was no dumb child. She knew what was going on and she understood that many of her family were killed on the day the UHV attacked. However, she knew that she was going to have to pretend to be one of the UHV drones until such a point that she could escape from their grip and leave only to come back and take revenge on them for what they had done to her and her family.

Nindo: Has yet to be discovered by her. Personality: Really just a shattered mess at this point, Lahlil suffers from multiple personality disorder that causes her to lean towards seemingly bipolar tendencies. When not off making her own illusion creations, she can be found simply watching others with a blank expression. Though making friends and interacting with others has always been something she has deeply craved. Lahlil also has no real understanding of the boundaries or social nuances of interacting with others. Despite these hurtles in her life Lahlil has made it her mission to befriend others though whether this is because she has been conditioned to be well mannered and slow to violence, or whether it is truly who she is remains unknown.
Currently though the exceedingly excellent work of her villages medical nin, along with regular visits to a therapist. Lahlil has regained control of a good portion of her mind. For explanation purposes however, Lahlil's other half also known as Ferrah Nevarra. Is a creature driven by pain and born of the suffering that Lahlil herself endured. While not inherently violent, Ferrah is a hard and uncaring person who see's nothing beyond her own survival. Or at least that is what she wants others to believe.

Early Life
Not exactly the life of a blessed child, Lahlil's started off to a rocky start where she was frequently abused her mother. Often she would become drunk and violently towards her and would even go so far as to beat her on occasions where Lahlil had seemingly done nothing wrong. Whether for good or for bad however, this torture was never meant to last as her mother ended up selling her daughter into slavery to a local crime lord. Even despite the many abuses suffered by her mother Lahlil was still deeply hurt by this betrayal and at the young age of three didn't understand why her mother of all people would abandon her. From this point on Lahlil was treated even worse than a dog. At least her mother had the decency to fed her. Lahlil would often spend her days locked away in the cold dark of a cage only to be released when she was needed to clean, and only then was she able to scour the leftover trash for edibles. Of course the many beatings would take their toll and eventually they pilled up so high that the young girl would near her breaking point, nad once again either though mercy or cruel intentions, fate had decided that her suffering should not yet end. Thrusting upon her the last terrible punishment it could think to bestow on her. Lahlil's own doujutsu, the sakkakugan awoke within her out her pure survival instincts. The constant torture from these crime lords along with the severe mental strain of her doujutsu awaking uncontrolled cause her mind to finally snap into a thousand pieces. From one of these pieces came Farrah, the fiercely strong and savage girl who managed to carry Lahlil through hell and back. Finally at the age of seven Lahlil was liberated from her prison by her villages shinobi and taken in where she became an orphan and was enrolled in the academy. After extensive help from medical shinobi and frequent therapist visits Lahlil was able to regain her mind from Farrah, keeping her locked away in her subconsciousness though the damage of course had still been done.
"This isn't.. I mean.. I'm not me, not really anyway. When my mind broke it didn't just shut down it shattered.. like a glass wall into a million tiny pieces. What I am now.. I'm just the biggest piece that was left."
Fall of Sunagakure and the 5 year time skip
After experiencing a severe inner turmoil due to her conflicting personalities, Lahlil all but lost control of her Sakkakugan. Illusions sprang to life around her as easy as breathing until finally even Lahlil herself could no longer tell what was real. Fearing that she would lose herself entirely within her mind she desperately sought out help. It was Lady Ayame who directed towards seeking a more enlightened path. Following her instructions, Lahlil traveled to the island of the summons to seek the help of a master of both the illusionary arts and the more.. natural ones. It was there in the pitch black caves of the bats that she studied. Eyes shut in darkness where they could no longer blind her, Lahlil regained enough control over her shattered mind to return to her normal life. However the welcoming heat of the endless dunes were no longer there to embrace her, Sunagakure was no more. Instead Lahlil found a new home, in the land of twisting whirlpools.

He only recently managed to get his consistent illnesses under control enough to leave the hospital, and takes regular immuno boosters in order to maintain his health. Exceedingly cautious of getting sick, he can often times seem indecisive about numerous situations, but is only taking every factor into consideration.
He was born with this weak immune system, to parents that were naturally overprotective. He was left orphaned when they died in an accident and has spent most of his life in the hospital as a result. It has been a dream of his to live a life of adventure, but no one believed it would be possible. As such, he developed a personality like someone who has always been sad, but is hopeful.
