___Nanako is a young girl of only 15 years who has lived within Uzushiogakure her entire life. She has always been a delicate girl in the eyes of her mother and their friends. This type of life has kept Nanako in deep depression on the surface, but a ninja within the village noticed her in private once and began to teach her the most basic aspects of being a ninja. This expression allowed Nanako to bring who she truly was to the surface, in secret, and allowed her to overcome the grief of losing her brother in a war no one in the village asked for.

After 5 long years of recovery, the village had been steady rebuilding and Nanako had to come to terms with who she wanted to become. She wished to be a ninja and that meant she had to tell her mother that she would not marry to build up the Tobiume family again. Having dreaded the conversation for weeks now, Nanako is still nowhere closer to telling her mother and the wedding is almost upon her. Every night her head lays down on her pillow is another debilitating frenzy of fear. She knows that she can overcome this scenario, but there is still fear in the back of her mind. She doesn't want to lose her mother... She is the last member she still has with her.

Personality: The ever curious student of Uzushiogakure. Emiko has a bit of trouble connecting with people at times. While she does socialize quite frequently there is an air of awkwardness that follows her as she does her best to chitchat. Maybe she says something wrong or makes a bad pun, whatever it is, Emiko displays a hesitant nature when interacting with anyone. A first meeting might go well, the following ones allowing her a little more freedom to talk. When faced with adversity, she wishes to do her best for not only herself but her team. Be it shouting out orders or yells of encouragement, Emi will do her best to bring out the best in people. There is, however, a rather lonesome side to the student. She tries to constantly be around somebody else to avoid being alone. When isolated from friends or anybody's she begins to allow her self doubt cripple her abilities.

From the moment she was born, Emiko found herself in the care of anyone but her parents. Unable to even recall the most minute details of them, the young girl would instead be raised from an orphanage by tge refugees of Konoha. She found life simple but couldn't shake this feeling she had towards her parents. After tracking down a friend of her mother's during a recess, she managed to squeeze a bit of information from her. They had been a pair of Shinobi in service to the village who had left one day without informing anyone of their intentions. This information would brew in Emiko's mind on the way back to her home.

Sitting back for a few days in thought with no other leads, Emiko decided that she would follow in her parent's footsteps to become a ninja of the newly founded village. She hopes to find some type of lead to go off of to learn more about her parents when she's not stuck in class or being forced to do homework.

Personality: Kairi is an outgoing, goofy and all-around friendly person. He treats people equally and has no problems expressing himself to strangers and bonds with them easily, showing a lot of confidence. When faced with entirely new social situations, Kairi's confidence leads to bold behavior. Though this can become out of hand and backfire when pursuing romance. Specifically when Kairi tries too hard, it can cause a misunderstanding. At heart, he is a kind, amiable person and means well.

Kairi maintains his unselfish manner regardless of the situation, going as far as to defend those who plot against him as long as they do not go as far as committing treason. A strong sense of integrity makes him willing to deliberately put himself in awkward situations if it means keeping his word. During conversations, Kairi never contradicts himself, and while sometimes harsh, he is always honest with answers.

Kairi has shown to care for his friends and the people around him, being protective of them and having a sense of responsibility as a center for his guards squad. He focuses only on his teammates' well-being physically, mentally and emotionally, disregarding his own to ensure theirs. He steps forward when others threaten his friends, and he has proven himself unwilling to do something that may hurt those he cares about.

Kairi’s family line leads to obsession with being a warrior and "shield". However, his formal training and experience is rather limited causing him to lack self-esteem and assign a lot of importance to his image as a fighter. The obsession makes him brash and headstrong in battle, jumping in without considering the risks and behaving predictably.

However, following the fall of Otogakure and the exodus from Konoha, his personality is somewhat changed. After witnessing the aftermath of the attack on Oto, he has become somewhat cynical. He is also angry at the Daimyo for his part in forcing Kairi's hand, openly accusing loyalists of being nothing but pawns for the "Grand Game." This is a completely different reaction from the earlier years when he tried to justify the UHV's hatred of the Daimyo's.

Kairi almost always prefers to keep his grief and strife to himself, as he has continued to train on his own as a way to cope with the situation hes found himself in. Being branded a traitor and obviously ejected form the guards took quite a toll on the young man. However there is one remnant of the guards which he holds dear to his life. The insignia which he has since had embedded into the coin pommel of his shortsword. Despite no longer being a guard he still hods the mentality and professionalism. Responding to superiors with sir or maam. However the lingering mannerisms are quite indicative of a deep-seated sense of regret and guilt. As well as the inability to entirely let go of the past and leave it behind him.

However Kairi's good nature renders him almost incapable of comprehending the actions and personalities of people like the UHV and the Daimyo's, unable to fathom how someone can be so cold and cruel. This expression of disbelief and befuddlement at the sheer sadism of others serves to show how idealistic and noble Kairi remains despite his trials and losses, ultimately proving him to be a fundamentally humane and caring individual.

____Berserker: → Your external training and devotion to taijutsu has allowed you to have moderately increased Strength and Fortitude. Your hardened body allows you to mitigate the pain/status effect of an incoming attack for two post per body rank, allowing you to continue the fight until the pain or hazards settle in. This means that a stunning effect can be delayed by up to ten posts at S rank. However, you ignore pain anytime you use this discipline for any reason, meaning if you delay having your arm disabled by a skill, you can also ignore the pain from having been stabbed on that post as well. Ex.: A ninja uses a lightning technique designed to stun you. For one post, you can delay that effect from taking hold, and have nine posts to continue delaying effects. Similarly, the pain from the attack itself is also ignored. This doesn't, however, prevent you from being blown away in the wind, or set on fire/drowned for example. Furthermore, if lethal damage is suffered then the delaying ability will be nullified for that effect.

____Juggernaut: → The user suffers no drawbacks of any kind when wearing very light and light armor at D-Rank, medium armor at C-Rank, heavy armor at B-Rank, and all other armors at A-Rank. Kairi had a pretty average life growing up, while he wanted for nothing he did not get whatever he wanted handed to him. Growing up, his parents were not harsh or uncaring and did their best to instill him with the proper principles and morals that a young man should have. Due to this he has grown to be fairly grounded, having a solid sense of right and wrong while doing his best to never shame himself or his family. With his father serving in the royal guard and himself joining the imperial guard once his training was completed, his family was setup quite well both politically and financially. Though luck, or perhaps fate, has sent him to the village of konohagakure to serve as a guard for both the village and the new Hokage. (UPDATE PENDING)

Approved overall, but there are a couple of minor edits and heads up I need to give you.
First reword this: "• Elemental Wiz: Nanako understands and uses elemental ninjutsu better than any other."
Better then any other implies that nobody on the planet can beat her at ninjutsu which yea.. so reword that for me.

For your pa's while they gain approval I dont recommend using these in tandem.
• One-handed hand seals: Nanako can perform techniques by using only one hand.
• Physical Activation: Nanako can bypass using hand seals for technique activation by performing a physical act (i.e. clapping hands together, slamming hands on a surface, etc.).

They kind of make each other redundant so I would HIGHLY advise you pick another to replace one of them. Otherwise, for all intents and purposes, your wasting a PA.

This one is going to be denied due to the following. Gaining an increase to genjutsu cost isn't actually a penalty for you because your classes dont give genjutsu slots. Meaning unless you are given slots due to an event or some such your penalty isn't relevant. If you are going to keep the modifier its drawback needs to be for either ninjutsu or taijutsu since those are the things your class gives.

From the moment she was born, Emiko found herself in the care of anyone but her parents. Unable to even recall the most minute details of them, the young girl would instead be raised from an orphanage by tge refugees of Konoha. She found life simple but couldn't shake this feeling she had towards her parents. After tracking down a friend of her mother's during a recess, she managed to squeeze a bit of information from her. They had been a pair of Shinobi in service to the village who had left one day without informing anyone of their intentions. This information would brew in Emiko's mind on the way back to her home.

Sitting back for a few days in thought with no other leads, Emiko decided that she would follow in her parent's footsteps to become a ninja of the newly founded village. She hopes to find some type of lead to go off of to learn more about her parents when she's not stuck in class or being forced to do homework.

___Nanako is a young girl of only 15 years who has lived within Uzushiogakure her entire life. She has always been a delicate girl in the eyes of her mother and their friends. This type of life has kept Nanako in deep depression on the surface, but a ninja within the village noticed her in private once and began to teach her the most basic aspects of being a ninja. This expression allowed Nanako to bring who she truly was to the surface, in secret, and allowed her to overcome the grief of losing her brother in a war no one in the village asked for.

After 5 long years of recovery, the village had been steady rebuilding and Nanako had to come to terms with who she wanted to become. She wished to be a ninja and that meant she had to tell her mother that she would not marry to build up the Tobiume family again. Having dreaded the conversation for weeks now, Nanako is still nowhere closer to telling her mother and the wedding is almost upon her. Every night her head lays down on her pillow is another debilitating frenzy of fear. She knows that she can overcome this scenario, but there is still fear in the back of her mind. She doesn't want to lose her mother... She is the last member she still has with her.

Personality: Moody Blues. The name rings truer in this case than most nicknames. While not particularly unstable, she is known for being a variable storm of emotion.. Topically, she appears to go 0-100- negative 100 on the order of minutes. This stems from the fact that every moment in her mind was one of forced introspection, ever since she was a child in the temples learning from zealous Jashinists that she was, indeed, a chosen child of god who would bring wrath and destruction. From her time as a youth, she has always been a particularly harsh critic of the world, be it from how pious her parents were, unable in their zealotry to focus on raising a child, or from priests who were of a similar nature. While she was taught that emotion comes second to serving His will, she experienced the full rainbow of emotions at an intense rate. It was to this end that she turned into a person so full of said intensity. So focused on doing what she enjoyed. Hedonism born of narcissism forced upon her.

This was something the priests continued to try and beat out of her to make the perfect killer. They only served to strengthen her ability to hide how she feels, while instilling in her that her individuality came before the need to blend. It was an interesting combination of things to shape a person. Following the development of her already cemented self-centered mindset, the girl began, as soon as she could read at the age of two, to read every one of the sacred texts. The word of lord Jashin himself (and finding what is now known widely as "jashinism" to be only a small portion of what was once true Jashinis) gave her a sense of self-glorifying confidence. These things occur behind a mask, a vaneer of calm that made, and still makes, her difficult to read. She comes off as arrogant, indecorous and sharp tongued which has alienated many a person from friendship and many a teacher from bonds. However, when respect is deserved, it is doled out, and when she finds something to attach herself to she finds herself fully invested. Unlike her rather reserved emotional appearance however, she fully immerses herself in everything, in every ounce of feeling in the ocean of her sense of self.
