Unused Event PA Submission for Masato Umechika


Rinne-sharingan | Masato's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, through training has developed once more without the influence of his mother's gift, taking a similar appearance to his RinneSharingan that he once wielded. In exchange for this added power, switching lens requires double the natural cost.
Mirroring: Copied Techniques used with this transformation cost 1 rank lower in resources.
Insight: Target's have their speed reduced by 1 when physically interacting with Masato for the duration of that interaction.

                        Personality: Amelia is outspoken and very social, doing whatever she can to interact and learn about the world around her. This may come across as a bit of an overcompensation -- because it is. If she is berated too harshly or told she is annoying, she will double down on this behavior until actively shooed away from the unintentional victim.

                        Biography: When Amelia was a young child, she was a very polite and quiet girl. Her parents had always counted their blessings whenever they were given compliments about her behavior, and they often wondered if there was anything wrong with her. Numerous doctors couldn't find a reason for such a reasonable toddler and after two or three years of nicely playing on her own the Yasashis gave up on looking a gift horse in the mouth.

                        Unfortunately, they had found what they were looking for around her seventh birthday when she began to have night terrors. What started as a few sleepless nights soon developed into a worrying issue when Amelia was found outside of her parent's room drawing various shapes on the walls with whatever medium she could get her hands on, and even after every drawing utensil was removed from the home the young girl started using her own blood after scratching the symbols into her arms and legs. Again, physicians were unable to pinpoint an exact cause for the sudden change in behavior. She spent a full year at a facility for youth who developed psychosis of some variety and after a brief period of recovery when she was released back to her parents, she began to harm herself again with the same series of signs. There was a point where she was threatened to be taken from her parents for neglect, but the records of her hospitalization were used as proof against these claims.

                        Amelia claimed that the symbols were "voices from the earth" and that they would "take her where the giants sleep". After a few more years of trial and error, they found a solution that was mostly temporary but helped to quell these so-called voices. Her room was turned into a blank canvas, allowing her to scrawl every inch of her living space with these strange runes. They distracted her mind with books on jutsu techniques, where she found a particular affinity for fuuinjutsu, and spent as much time as they could with her day and night often taking shifts so that she was never alone even as she slept. The night terrors subsided into simple bad dreams, and the self-harming behavior only occurred on the rare occasion that she had to be left by herself. Her mother wrapped her arms and legs in bandages daily to hide the symbols that were now permanent, and this became a ritual in itself. With these interventions in place, Amelia managed the last three years with relative normalcy.

                        Knowing that they would not be around forever, Amelia's parents did what they could to reintroduce her to the outside world and made plans for her to face reality on her own by helping her apply for the Ninja Academy. Their hopes are that she will be able to overcome whatever internal fear she has acquired and perhaps find a way to be rid of it with a more permanent solution.

                        First Class: Jack
                        ▱▰▱ Right Tool for the JobAt the beginning of each combat encounter, the Jack may select one type of technique. For the duration of that fight, techniques of that selected type have their costs reduced by a full rank. (Technique Types: Suiton, Doton, Fuuton, Maruton, Fuuin, Iryo, Sensory, etc) In addition, the user is able to carry an additional custom item or weapon that does not count towards their custom points. This custom item may have one additional ability without being considered a legendary item.
                        Second Class: Scholar
                        ▱▰▱ Erudite ScholarInstead of excelling at sensory or summoning abilities, you prefer pure sealing arts. The Academic's body is considered a scroll so seals can be used and stored on your direct body. Your body may be treated as three scrolls equal to your body rank. Fuuinjutsu and sensory skills do not require handseals and are one rank less in chakra cost (Following the one rank max reduction rules). All three of your actions can be used on fuuinjutsu and/or sensory for one post every three posts in combat. In addition, the duration of all sealing techniques and all sensory techniques are increased by two posts. Your expertise makes your seals innately intricate, meaning attempts to hijack your seals invoke a turn of neutralization where the seal is unusable to everyone before it falls under the hijacker's control. You automatically inflict one tier higher of Hex status (maximum of tier 4).
                        ▱▰▱ Cross Class or Specialization:Jack – Scholar: [Scholar - Bukijutsu]; Able to utilize any seal through contact with their weapon. Detects any hidden information on their person upon contact with weapon. These users are uniquely able to cut through seals by casting an unsealing technique through their blade. They are also able to physically cut Hex seals on their person by expending an activation and no chakra/stamina.

                        Personality: Alice is fairly stubborn, not in a particularly bad way however. She isn't stuck in her ways so much as unless you prove to her that they're wrong then she will likely not change them. She is overall a kind and caring individual especially to those who are either younger than her or who are specifically her underlings...or just anyone who might be lower on the hierarchy than her. Typically she is very non-aggressive, however if she feels like she has to protect something or someone then she can become extremely aggressive if the situation requires it. Still she prefers to settle things peacefully and with no one getting hurt.

                        Biography: Alice comes from a small and unmapped island in the middle of the Kaijuu Ocean. She wasn't raised particularly poorly, however this island's people were very combative and thrill seeking. Many of the people of this island were known to hunt monsters in the ocean below them or even on the small island itself. They also held competitive events every month where their various warriors would fight each other for their own and other people's entertainment. Alice's parents met in this way, where they had fought against one another and when her mother ended victorious her father fell for her.

                        Alice was never much into the fights, the aggressive mannerisms of others on her island. She adopted a less...aggressive style of fighting. While her parents understood and never stopped her from doing what she wanted they still made her partake in the warrior events as soon as she was old enough. Alice didn't protest this, as she understood what they meant to her parents. Alice's heavily defensive style of combat was laughed at initially...however it was soon realized that she wasn't any worse than these other warriors at wall.

                        She would win fairly consistently in these battles through consistent and effective counter attacks. She was well known on her island, however she wanted a bit more. When she turned 18 she would head on a boat and begin to travel. Everyone on her island supported her choice and saw her off. She would sail until she met land perhaps even getting mixed up along the way through various storms and waters pushing her boat in directions she never wanted it to go. She was even attacked by pirates at some point...who quickly realized she seemed to have nothing anyways and couldn't deal with her combat style so they just didn't deal with her anymore. Eventually she would reach the land of fire....somehow....probably from all the rushing waves pushing her small boat around.

                        She would make her way through the Land of Fire, eventually coming across Konoha. Where she would both explain her own situation and also find out about the extremely recent events that happened in these lands with the samurai. She would offer to join and help and perhaps even teach those who needed to. Her offer was accepted and she is now a teacher at Konoha.

                        Sometime prior to arriving in Konoha, she had a fateful encounter with the one tailed demon, Shukaku. She assisted in it's defeat, primarily by defending those around that needed defending. Those fighting the demon sealed it inside of her, and sealed away her memories of the demon.

                        ▱▰▱ Mystic HeroThe user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by making any flourish or deliberate movement to cast the technique in the direction the weapon is commanded. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu together with varying cool downs for a single action.

                        Second Class: Jack Class
                        ▱▰▱ Master of NoneYou are versed in a wide variety of shinobi techniques. Because of your broad training, you can easily fill in roles that usually need a specific type of ninja. You gain access to one of the following technique groups, without needing the associated class, up to one rank below your body: Medical, Sealing, or Sensory. Additionally, you receive 5 slots every other rank for that restricted art. {D,B,S} If Specialized gains access to a second at A and the third at S+, additionally your slots are mirrored across all three restricted categories. The Jack is not treated as having access to techniques that require scholar specialist or the single restricted technique scholar class ninja get (unless taking scholar in addition to this class or is specialized in the Jack class). As a versatile discipline, a Master of None also receives +1 to any stat for every other body rank starting at body rank C. {C,A,S+}
                        Chosen Class Restricted Art: ( Medical, Sealing or Sensory )

                        Third Class: Jack Class
                        ▱▰▱ Mundane MasterSure, you have an elemental affinity like every other ninja, but, for some reason, you've really taken a shine to Maruton techniques. If you take this Discipline, your Maruton techniques gain Overwhelming. You may cast Maruton through one-handed seals or somatic gestures.{The Overwhelming Trait does not apply to anything above S} In addition, the user may create a free PA that augments their maruton techniques in some form every other rank starting at D rank {D, B, S}, adding depth to them without costing additional chakra. A Mundane Master may also select one status effect for all of their Maruton to apply using the following scale use the following scale: Tier 1 E-C | Tier 2 B-S. If specialized in Jack, follow the following scale: Tier 1 E-D | Tier 2 C | Tier 3 B-A | Tier 4 S-S+.
                        ▱▰▱ Cross Class or Specialization:Jack - Jack: Master of none, the jack does, however, have an edge over the mundane that most would not. The jack gains an additional Non-Bloodline Trait at character creation as opposed to just one, allowing a Jack Spec to hold Two, the same Non-Bloodline trait cannot be taken more than once. In addition, the user gains 50 chakra at D, B , and S ranks while gaining 50 stamina at C, A, and S+ Ranks. User may also select an alternate discipline from most other classes besides Jack (Tamer, Bloodline and Puppeteer are excluded from selection of a discipline). As a Jack Spec, you also have an 8 stat cap instead of the normal 6.

                        Personality: Yubi recognizes that for a shinobi to set out as a rogue at his age and experience level that he is entering into an ocean full of monsters. His reserved personality for this reason is his greatest tool in avoiding conflict or those monsters on the prowl. He has no shame in acting like a complete fool or buffoon to pass off as someone who shouldn't be worried about. He isn't all the way stupid in reality, and this can be seen in the occasional serious moment or when something important is on the line. All of this makes Yubi a hard person to get a proper read on for his actual personality unless one spends a lot of time around him.

                        Biography: Yubi grew up in a small village in the land of fire. After a few to many failed missions and lost friends he 'retired' and took up the roll of a farmer for his village, using his families bloodline to help him in growing plants. Once he reached the age of 27 he finally decided that he wanted to see the world again and try to help where he could, leaving on the path of a rogue with his friend. Being a shinobi of the village was not something he was interested in, the life of a wanderer was for him.

▱▰▱ Defensive Expertise | Alice's jutsu that are strictly defensive are unaffected by piercing based effects from techniques. This includes techniques that are treated 1 rank higher against defensive techniques, techniques that would break defensive techniques specifically, or techniques/abilities that would ignore defensive techniques. This only applies to techniques that are strictly defensive such as barriers and armors. However Alice also does not benefit from piercing based effects on techniques.

Pending. I know off the top of my head that defensive proficiency has been approved on a previous edition of Alice's profile but due to the subjectivity of 'defensive technique' as well as the fact that limitations of armor/barrier still permit it to extend through different jutsu type (different elements, taijutsu, bukijutsu), we're going to have to deny this PA. Please consider switching to a specific element, taijutsu, or bukijutsu to receive a similar effect.

Similarly, defensive expertise, even with the offered trade-off, is doing too much and should not be able to prohibit techniques treated a rank higher or specifically targeting defenses to be unable to pierce. I appreciate the attempts to strengthen Alice's defenses as I know it's her shtick, but a different approach would be appreciated. You're welcome to DM any of the moderators, myself included, if you would like to brainstorm unique defense-centric PAs.

⚬ Holiday 2k18 PA#2 Sadayo has developed the ability to hide her strings. Sadayo’s charka strings are completely invisible without activated doujutsu (sharingan/byakugan). Sadayo’s chakra strings are invisible to sensory jutsu used E-rank.

⚬ {Class OR Poison Status PA (A-rank 2)} : Crafted poisons applied through a puppet’s mechanisms are slightly more durable against being washed or blown away. Poisons will blend into an opponents’ ninjutsu and permeate the substance to infect on a wider scale. A poison remains on the field of battle for [1] post longer before being washed away.

                        Personality: Alice is fairly stubborn, not in a particularly bad way however. She isn't stuck in her ways so much as unless you prove to her that they're wrong then she will likely not change them. She is overall a kind and caring individual especially to those who are either younger than her or who are specifically her underlings...or just anyone who might be lower on the hierarchy than her. Typically she is very non-aggressive, however if she feels like she has to protect something or someone then she can become extremely aggressive if the situation requires it. Still she prefers to settle things peacefully and with no one getting hurt.

                        Biography: Alice comes from a small and unmapped island in the middle of the Kaijuu Ocean. She wasn't raised particularly poorly, however this island's people were very combative and thrill seeking. Many of the people of this island were known to hunt monsters in the ocean below them or even on the small island itself. They also held competitive events every month where their various warriors would fight each other for their own and other people's entertainment. Alice's parents met in this way, where they had fought against one another and when her mother ended victorious her father fell for her.

                        Alice was never much into the fights, the aggressive mannerisms of others on her island. She adopted a less...aggressive style of fighting. While her parents understood and never stopped her from doing what she wanted they still made her partake in the warrior events as soon as she was old enough. Alice didn't protest this, as she understood what they meant to her parents. Alice's heavily defensive style of combat was laughed at initially...however it was soon realized that she wasn't any worse than these other warriors at wall.

                        She would win fairly consistently in these battles through consistent and effective counter attacks. She was well known on her island, however she wanted a bit more. When she turned 18 she would head on a boat and begin to travel. Everyone on her island supported her choice and saw her off. She would sail until she met land perhaps even getting mixed up along the way through various storms and waters pushing her boat in directions she never wanted it to go. She was even attacked by pirates at some point...who quickly realized she seemed to have nothing anyways and couldn't deal with her combat style so they just didn't deal with her anymore. Eventually she would reach the land of fire....somehow....probably from all the rushing waves pushing her small boat around.

                        She would make her way through the Land of Fire, eventually coming across Konoha. Where she would both explain her own situation and also find out about the extremely recent events that happened in these lands with the samurai. She would offer to join and help and perhaps even teach those who needed to. Her offer was accepted and she is now a teacher at Konoha.

                        Sometime prior to arriving in Konoha, she had a fateful encounter with the one tailed demon, Shukaku. She assisted in it's defeat, primarily by defending those around that needed defending. Those fighting the demon sealed it inside of her, and sealed away her memories of the demon.

                        Personality: Alice is fairly stubborn, not in a particularly bad way however. She isn't stuck in her ways so much as unless you prove to her that they're wrong then she will likely not change them. She is overall a kind and caring individual especially to those who are either younger than her or who are specifically her underlings...or just anyone who might be lower on the hierarchy than her. Typically she is very non-aggressive, however if she feels like she has to protect something or someone then she can become extremely aggressive if the situation requires it. Still she prefers to settle things peacefully and with no one getting hurt.

                        Biography: Alice comes from a small and unmapped island in the middle of the Kaijuu Ocean. She wasn't raised particularly poorly, however this island's people were very combative and thrill seeking. Many of the people of this island were known to hunt monsters in the ocean below them or even on the small island itself. They also held competitive events every month where their various warriors would fight each other for their own and other people's entertainment. Alice's parents met in this way, where they had fought against one another and when her mother ended victorious her father fell for her.

                        Alice was never much into the fights, the aggressive mannerisms of others on her island. She adopted a less...aggressive style of fighting. While her parents understood and never stopped her from doing what she wanted they still made her partake in the warrior events as soon as she was old enough. Alice didn't protest this, as she understood what they meant to her parents. Alice's heavily defensive style of combat was laughed at initially...however it was soon realized that she wasn't any worse than these other warriors at wall.

                        She would win fairly consistently in these battles through consistent and effective counter attacks. She was well known on her island, however she wanted a bit more. When she turned 18 she would head on a boat and begin to travel. Everyone on her island supported her choice and saw her off. She would sail until she met land perhaps even getting mixed up along the way through various storms and waters pushing her boat in directions she never wanted it to go. She was even attacked by pirates at some point...who quickly realized she seemed to have nothing anyways and couldn't deal with her combat style so they just didn't deal with her anymore. Eventually she would reach the land of fire....somehow....probably from all the rushing waves pushing her small boat around.

                        She would make her way through the Land of Fire, eventually coming across Konoha. Where she would both explain her own situation and also find out about the extremely recent events that happened in these lands with the samurai. She would offer to join and help and perhaps even teach those who needed to. Her offer was accepted and she is now a teacher at Konoha.

                        Sometime prior to arriving in Konoha, she had a fateful encounter with the one tailed demon, Shukaku. She assisted in it's defeat, primarily by defending those around that needed defending. Those fighting the demon sealed it inside of her, and sealed away her memories of the demon.

                        ▱▰▱ Mystic HeroThe user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by making any flourish or deliberate movement to cast the technique in the direction the weapon is commanded. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu together with varying cool downs for a single action.

                        Second Class: Jack Class
                        ▱▰▱ Master of NoneYou are versed in a wide variety of shinobi techniques. Because of your broad training, you can easily fill in roles that usually need a specific type of ninja. You gain access to one of the following technique groups, without needing the associated class, up to one rank below your body: Medical, Sealing, or Sensory. Additionally, you receive 5 slots every other rank for that restricted art. {D,B,S} If Specialized gains access to a second at A and the third at S+, additionally your slots are mirrored across all three restricted categories. The Jack is not treated as having access to techniques that require scholar specialist or the single restricted technique scholar class ninja get (unless taking scholar in addition to this class or is specialized in the Jack class). As a versatile discipline, a Master of None also receives +1 to any stat for every other body rank starting at body rank C. {C,A,S+}

                        ▱▰▱ Mundane MasterSure, you have an elemental affinity like every other ninja, but, for some reason, you've really taken a shine to Maruton techniques. If you take this Discipline, your Maruton techniques gain Overwhelming. You may cast Maruton through one-handed seals or somatic gestures.{The Overwhelming Trait does not apply to anything above S} In addition, the user may create a free PA that augments their maruton techniques in some form every other rank starting at D rank {D, B, S}, adding depth to them without costing additional chakra. A Mundane Master may also select one status effect for all of their Maruton to apply using the following scale use the following scale: Tier 1 E-C | Tier 2 B-S. If specialized in Jack, follow the following scale: Tier 1 E-D | Tier 2 C | Tier 3 B-A | Tier 4 S-S+.
                        ▱▰▱ Cross Class or Specialization:Jack - Jack: Master of none, the jack does, however, have an edge over the mundane that most would not. The jack gains an additional Non-Bloodline Trait at character creation as opposed to just one, allowing a Jack Spec to hold Two, the same Non-Bloodline trait cannot be taken more than once. In addition, the user gains 50 chakra at D, B , and S ranks while gaining 50 stamina at C, A, and S+ Ranks. Pharmaceutical products not created (bought or traded) by Sadayo cannot be altered in this manner. Applications of higher tiered effects will replace the previous, present lower tiered effects applied to the target. Cannot gain this effect from any similar PAs more than twice (no more than two additional effects per pharmaceutical creation).

Ooc: We should probably seriously consider this (no more than two additional effects per [crafting] creation) as an addition for PA rules.

⚬ Holiday 2k18 PA#2 Sadayo has developed the ability to hide her strings. Sadayo’s charka strings are completely invisible without activated doujutsu (sharingan/byakugan). Sadayo’s chakra strings are invisible to sensory jutsu used E-rank.

⚬ {Class OR Poison Status PA (A-rank 2)} : Crafted poisons applied through a puppet’s mechanisms are slightly more durable against being washed or blown away. Poisons will blend into an opponents’ ninjutsu and permeate the substance to infect on a wider scale. A poison remains on the field of battle for [1] post longer before being washed away.

⚬ Special Operations Mask PA 1 - Secretary-bird: While wearing the mask stomping on the ground creates a false signature that is disconnected from Sadayo’s: the signature reads like an echo of a natural element (i.e earth/water) and therefore disguises her signature. The effect consumes an activation. Stomping, even wildly, while wearing the mask produces near-silent stomps. Lasts 2 posts.

                        Biography: Kaias has always been under the thumb of samurai profession... weeell oppression might be a strong word. While he was forced into a lab during his late teens and worked tirelessly without remorse, he was rewarded handsomely and never suffered as he’s had seen others. Kaias was numb to the outside world, survival depends on very fact. He’s never cares much for anything outside of the wall s of his lab.                         First Class: Taijitsu
                        ▱▰▱ Berserker Your external training and devotion to taijutsu has allowed you to have a [+1] stat increases to Strength and Endurance. Your hardened body naturally is as protective as Heavy Tier armor without its drawbacks. Degradation of the user's natural defenses applies in the same manner as armor. Once depleted, any damage the user takes, no matter the rank of damage applied increases the user's strength and speed by 1 stat point each for two posts up to 9 points. Should the user take additional damage before the end of the second post, the increase stacks, refreshing it's active time.
                        Second Class: Taijutsu
                        ▱▰▱ Brawler Your taijutsu is just one side of your skill, as you are also versed in utilizing ninjutsu as well. Your Speed and Agility are enhanced by [+1] and you gain an additional [4] ninjutsu slots per rank. Once every other post all three of your actions in a post can be used for offensive taijutsu. Additionally, the user gains a keystone technique and two additional custom slots for taijutsu. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information.
                        ▱▰▱ Dedicated disciple: A disciple who chooses to specialize in a small number of their class's arts. Limiting themselves to three of their class's styles, granting overwhelming in all three styles up to S Rank. Any additional slots that would be awarded for their class's styles are converted into a 2 point increase in any stats of their choosing. In addition, these masters of their arts are able to have a 1 point increase in their stats cap of 8 making it 9. Styles granted from rewards may be learned but do not carry the overwhelming property and the user is capped out at 5 styles.

                        ▱▰▱ Touch of the Boundless The Uzumaki can create any and all seals, and therefore cast any sealing technique - no matter how intricate or complex - upon a single touch of their palm without handseals. This alternative method for Fuuin must still adhere to the alternative jutsu casting clause as chakra must still be gathered to accomplish a technique as a seal isn't instantly created. In addition, with one-touch and one action, the Uzumaki is able to summon up to three creatures from a contract for only the chakra cost of the highest-ranked creature summoned.

                        ▱▰▱ Heritage of Whirlpools Because of the clan’s lineage from Senju, the users are able to store 200 additional nature chakra with either their sage mode or curse marks. If the ninja has neither then this additional chakra is not applicable but may claim it for their base chakra pool. This decision can be changed later without a respec.

Actually, I'm going to retcon that approval. As an Uzumaki, you cannot take the PA "Kitsune's Wit" without the Scholar Class.

Additionally, you have 5 PAs, instead of the 3 that you start with.

As an added thing, Heritage of Whirlpools is a PA, not a modifier, so it should go with with the others.


So the edits I need you to edit:
Having "Kitsune's Wit" as your character doesn't have access to this PA without the Scholar Class

Moving "Heritage of Whirlpools" down to the PA section

Removing another PA so that you only have 3
