[TD: 6/15/18] Matt Gennison vs. Kurt Angle

The lights in the CWF arena go pitch black as the very intimidating, slow beginning of Kurt Angles theme plays, and the audience explodes in cheers for the Olympic Gold Medalist. All you can see is the titantron, until A spotlight shines at the top of the ramp, where all of a sudden Kurt Angle begins to rise from under it, getting a bigger eruption from the audience. He reaches the top, with his head bowed the whole time, before raising it and his arms and a big blue and red pyro goes off, and his theme shifts, and the lights turn from dark black to the normal light arena color, as Kurt Angle begins to make his way down to the ring, getting introduced.



Announcer: "Introducing at this time.... From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania... weighing in at 230 pounds, he is professional wrestlings ONLY Olympic Gold Medalist.....KURT.....AAAANNGGLLEEE!!"

The audience gets louder after the introduction, as Kurt continues his way down the ramp, before making it to the ring steps, walking up them and gets in the ring through the second rope, and walks around in the ring before stopping and jogging in place, and eventually does another taunt before his theme comes to a close, and he begins pacing around, waiting for the match to begin or for his opponent to come out, to show him and all these people he is the best to ever step foot in this ring.

"The Wings of Icarus" (V2) (CWF edit) which would be a heroic, angelic-melodic like theme song would blast over the PA system and the audience would ignite in excitement, singing along to the instrumental to show creative and management just how over Matt Gennison was. He would come from gorilla position with his signature entrance jacket on and have the CWF Championship around his waist signifying that he was proud to hold one of the most prestige championships in all of wrestling today, with many greats of the past holding it such as Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, The Undertaker, Triple H and a few others. He would walk out while also having the TNW:R Championship over his right shoulder and the TNW:R Universal Championship over his left shoulder. The TNW:R Championship only held by Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Ryback. The TNW:R Universal Championship only held by Aleks Mason in it's 2+ year activeness. And now held by Matt Gennison. The audience would sing Matt's theme song from the curtain to when he got to the ring and he felt pretty good about himself. He would continue to make his way to the ring. "AND HIS OPPONENT!, REPRESENTING THE BULLET CLUB, FROM CHICAGO ILLINOIS, WEIGHING IN A TWO-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-THREE POUNDS, HE IS THE CWF CHAMPION... THE RAINMAKER.. MAAAAATT... GENNISON! The ring announcer would exclaim.. as Matt would make his way to the ring with the many of his supporters clapping and behind him, since he was now an established wrestler compared to when he first made it in. Matt Gennison would then approach the ring and walk up the propped up steel steps that were up against the ring pole, in which he would then walk up the steps and duck his head under the top rope to come into the ring. He would then raise up his two championships as the audience would go crazy! He would approach the turnbuckle on the far end and climb the second rope, to raise his two championships! he would then jump down and his theme song would slowly begin to fade away.

Kurt Angle, having his first televised match in the USA for the first time since 2016, was in the ring, watching Matt Gennison make his entrance. He certainly was not underestimating Matt, who has really done it all while Kurt hasnt been in much action. Angle respects that Matt is the champion of CWF, and Also the TNWR Champion and Universal champion, so he sees a bit of himself in Matt. Once Matt was in the ring, Angle would be waiting for the bell to ring, which it would, and Kurt looks around at the audience who is thrilled to see him back in such a marquee matchup.

...Before the bell would ring, Matt would take off his signature entrance Jacket and hang it over the ring post. He would then give his three championships to the referee, and he would give it to timekeeping, as Matt was now in ring gear and ready to out wrestle (or at least try to) the Wrestling Machine, Kurt Angle. Aware of what Kurt's done for the company, and what he's done to establish his name in this business, Matt would have his eye out.

After the bell did ring, Kurt began circling the ring walking around with his hands up, closing in on Matt Gennison and offers a lock up.

The audience had taken their seats, and Matt would lock up with Kurt Angle.  

[Kurt AngIe]

Angle looks to quickly transition that into a side headlock.  

[Matt Gennison]

Matt Gennison would be placed into the side headlock by Kurt Angle, and he would stand there trying to relieve the pressure.

Kurt keeps it locked in, trying to weaken Matt early in and perhaps take a little endurance away from him for later on.  

[Matt Gennison]

Not trying to have a broken freakin' neck like this muhfucca, Matt would look to push Kurt Angle off and into the ropes back-first!

who knows, you might get a gold medal like me someday if you had a broken mufuggin neck nibbaKurt Angle hits the ropes and comes back towards Matt!  

[Matt Gennison]

Off the rebound came Kurt Angle, and nothing fancy or anything. Matt would decide to just turn his back and hit a back elbow to Kurt Angle, looking to lay him to the mat!

Kurt would get hit with the back elbow and is momentarily down, and then sits up.  

[Matt Gennison]

Seeing Kurt Angle sit up, Matt would look to drop to his knees behind Angle, looking to place him in a headlock to wear him down!
