The Yokai screeched, but it wasn't a normal screech, it sounded guttural and underwater kind of screech. Oh, wait. It was. The cold hit as it still knew nothing but to feed. Feed! The monstrous head looked at the dragons and its mind was slow as well obsessive on the feed, it could not react in time for its defenses to be up. Instead, it attempted to 'eat' the dragons. The dragons collided with the Yokai as it let out another bubbly gargle screech under the depths, burnt mark on its skin which would be hard to see since it was completely black but the electricity radiating off of it. The slowed brain was now processing that it was being attacked, it was too late for the Yokai as a tornado started to form around its body. On it's right, outside of the tornado, formed a serpent with an opened jaw as it went after Musica. [ Serpent Mouth ] When the tornado faces, they would notice that the yokai had too, dispersed into nothingness. The serpent was not the last gift from the Yokai. All around where it once was, blades had appeared and were sent hurtling towards Musica after the Serpent's attack. [ Water Blade Barrage ]
The attacks on Kenshin or rather, the attempted direction towards him ceased due to the annoying catty host of Matatabi. With a deep guttural growl of annoyance as the fireballs had struck in the water, the water fought back by colliding with the motions of the water, the tsunami had appeared from the impact and it seemingly engulfed the baseball-sized Continous Tailed Beast Balls. [ Five Tsunami no Jutsu per the baseball-sized of Continuous tailed Beast balls ] Another growl as Nami opened her jaw, and gathered the chakra, firing it's on Tailed Beast Ball at Shion's, the impact causing an explosion underwater and it sent Nami back, her body impacted on her very own crystal maze. [ Tailed Beast Ball ] Slid off and feet touched the wet ground. Isobu growled at the flaming corpses that appeared 80ft underwater with it. That would be a wondrous sight if it wasn't affecting him. An angry roar, a shockwave shock the newly made seabed under the labyrinth, [ Tailed Beast Wave Bijuu Sumi S+ ] to eliminate the corpses, and then it was shot towards Shion.
A disruption of chakra. Nami was trying to gain control of her body back and to soothe Isobu but it was not working as the disruption only lasted for a moment. So much slower. The body coughed, a trickle of blood barely noticeable in the dark depths. Isobu could barely move and its mind was much foggier, it let out a frustrated roar in the depths of the new sea. Five baseballs emerged from the waters and sent towards Shion as payback for being a piranha on its side. [ Continuous Tailed Beast Balls [ Renzoku Bijuu Dama ] | Rank S ]

The water of Serpent Mouth will increase the momentum of the earth of Doro Houshi to create a more powerful mudslide. If used with Doro Houshi, the doton's technique is increased by one [1] rank and the water serpent isn't subject to its earth weakness.
• _ ✦ Water Blade Barrage [ Mizu no Yaiba Rendan ] | Rank B A skill which can only be used when the opponent is underwater. Within the water, blades of water are created all around the opponent. As soon as they are created, they are sent from various sides in order to tear through the opponent, leaving terrible wounds upon their body. .If the target is underwater the stirke is treated as [1] rank higher to evade.
Technique(s) Used: • _✧ The tailed beast fires multiple uncompressed Tailed Beast Balls in rapid succession at the opponent. Each one fired is about 10 feet in diameter, and up to fifteen can be rapidly fired in a matter of seconds. Each uncompressed tailed beast ball can leave an impacting crater that is about five times its diameter upon anything they hit as they explode like popping bubbles, but on a far more violent scale. Should they directly impact a living thing... the damage would easily result in disintegrated bones, torn muscles, and internal organ damage if the hit were landed on the body. In most cases death would be inevitable for a direct hit to the enemy's head or in the upper torso region of the body.

To form the attack they gather both positive chakra and negative chakra, shape it into a sphere, and then compress it inside their mouth. The energy wave is 65 feet wide and can hit anything in the same area or another relatively near location entirely. The beam won't explode or do anything more than steadily barrage the target that it is shot at for a few seconds after it is fired; however, the resulting damage guarantees that virtually any obstacle in the Tailed Beast Ball Wave's path will be obliterated. Utilizing some kind of sensory technique is most beneficial if targeting enemies beyond the user's immediate area. Tailed Beast Genjutsu Release [ Bijuu Kai ] | Rank X | Spiritual The demon utilizes the host's telepathic link to detect the presence of genjutsu within the host's chakra network. Doing so, the demon exerts chakra equal to the rank and potency of the genjutsu applied and releases the user of it's effect. Breaking genjutsu in this manner may only occur once every three posts but is able to remove all mental stress or insanity statuses of equal tier to the execution of this technique. • _✧ Tidal Wave Technique [ Tsunami no Jutsu ] | Rank S+ An even better and more devastating water technique than the Water Collision Destruction Technique, this Technique can drown a large village but requires enormous amounts of chakra and stamina. Usually an 'all or nothing' technique, as it is not used under normal circumstances due to the widespread and in discriminant destruction that it wreaks. Requires knowing Water Collision Destruction [Suishouha]. This is an upgrade of Suishouha, but takes its own slot and is not an augment. Creates over five times as much water as the S-ranked version and so can flood an entire topic up to [30] feet at once. Also, the technique floods into five nearby areas (topics in the same subforum) up to [5] feet. This technique applies Tier 4 Drench and can also cause drowning and therefore the suffocation status. They then grow these flowers into a gigantic labyrinth of crystals. Most enemies trapped inside will find themselves hopelessly lost, with crystals reflecting their personal image as well as generating mirror images of the routes, paths, and details within the labyrinth, confusing and intimidating them. This crystal labyrinth is capable of thwarting the abilities of sensory doujutsu thanks to its unique properties. Though inert from an offensive perspective, the labyrinth is totally enclosed and spans a massive 1000ft across and 120ft tall and covers an entire area (topic). It can be destroyed only by elemental Korabo Ninjutsu of the same rank or higher, regardless of elemental components. The user makes rain which eats up any chakra when it comes in contact with anything. Breathing out, the light, darkening mist rain will spread over an area (topic), billowing upwards to prevent a jump's worth of height. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Complex/Spiritual Tai/Buki jutsu, & Demonic auras/cloaks/etc are affected. Exactly half of the chakra absorbed is sent to sustain the jutsu, while the other half filters into the user's own chakra pool. Absorption can temporarily extend the user's chakra pool to above normal, for a maximum of triple the total. For example, if your reserves are 1,000 then it can increase it to 3,000 maximally. Lasts until [3] total posts have elapsed from the last absorption. Automatically Absorbs chakra at a rate of [320] per post from the listed sources dispersing them in a pseudo-seal fashion. However, the users own jutsu is excluded from this.

PassiveEffects: Demon Mastery: The host dons a bright sea green fog of chakra with terrifying ephemeral illusory images as they and Isobu are able to unify their will and openly share his chakra and the host's body without reserve. This sea green chakra hugs the user's form and clothing tightly, appearing similarly. The user manifests all three tails and forms a spiky gray turtle shell over their body with three gray spiky shrimp-like tails. One of the host's eyes close and the other remains open with a ghastly yellow glow. The user passively draws in enough water to flood the topic the host is in up to 40 feet.[ • The user's strength, agility, and speed are elevated to 10 while the user's endurance is elevated to 12 for the duration of the transformation. • Suiton techniques are considered overwhelming during the transformation and are boosted [1] rank higher during this transformation. • Genjutsu costs an additional rank to kai and the user may add [2] senses to any illusion. • Crystallization | All Shoton techniques have the innate ability to crystallize chakra upon collision. Techniques that are not a rank higher nor overwhelm the Shoton technique will be instantly crystallized through. For example, a B-Rank Shoton technique colliding with a B-Rank fireball will result in the Shoton technique being destroyed and the fireball being rendered a useless clump of crystal. Once techniques are crystallized they are rendered useless to the caster. Additionally, the Shoton user can shatter a crystalized technique or object at will with no chakra or combat action cost. Ergo, if you are single genjutsu class then you get the enchanter path from genjutsu specialist and if you are a genjutsu specialist then you get the enchanter path as well as a second path of your choosing. _✧Those who are a specialist can choose one category of genjutsu to follow as a path. You can follow the path of the illusionist (illusory focus), enchanter/enchantress (enchantment focus), trickster (instance focus), or conjurer (chain focus). Selecting a Path grants [3] additional custom slots and [1] keystone for techniques of that category. Genjutsu that are cast by those of this specialization are more efficient as according to the user's body rank, all Genjutsu are [10] Chakra cheaper to perform with the user's specialized Focus are further reduced by another [5] Chakra per body rank. No cost can be lower than a minimum of [5] Chakra. Once every other post all three of the genjutsu specialist's actions in a post can be used for genjutsu.
Genjutsu Path: Enchantress • Crystal Ball | The Shoton user's crystals can act as a crystal ball and produce divination visions by applying an E-Rank amount of chakra for no action cost. This allows viewing the crystals to be used as a sight trigger for genjutsu. Genjutsu triggered with this method cost one rank higher to kai but require one tier lower to release through pain at a maximum of S+ chakra and a minimum of tier one pain. In addition, as a clairvoyant, all genjutsu with sight as the primary sense can last for an additional [2] posts with no upkeep cost. • Crystalline Rampart | Defensive crystal techniques are one rank stronger against spiritual techniques in collisions. Crystal techniques also lose their weakness to sound techniques. Finally, all doton techniques can be classified as shoton techniques for no resource or action cost but only originally crystal defenses gain the one rank increase.

Cadence's vision swirled as the medic tended to her arm, a groan escaping her lips as the limb was resocketed. A sigh of relief followed as she basked momentarily in the endorphin rush of the healing process. Unfortunately for her, this particular experience was not over. The medic began the jutsu before the woman had any idea what was going on, and by the time she realized what was happening it was too late. She was familiar enough with sealing and what had occurred at Takijinsei to intuit the experience she was currently having; the demon being sealed into her, the dangerous burden passed unbidden. God shinobi were assholes. She’d have been even more incensed if she knew they were saddling her with exactly what was currently threatening to kill all of them, but she also knew better than to interrupt. Furious as she was, she had no desire to be ripped apart.
The glowering aimed at Kameyo was fleeting, as the sealing completed and Cadence was dragged once more into an abyss. Echo Caverns paled in comparison to the endless plane of her mind, and the slowly approaching cage in the depths below seemed both impossibly far away and too quick to arrive. It was Coda, however, not Cadence floating through the void. A lone tentacle drifted between the bars, snaking around the Oinin’s neck as a voice shook the blackness around her. “Interesting. An unwilling host. It seems the green goddess and her followers still enjoy ire seeking. Let’s see...” As the limb wrapped tighter around her throat, inky blackness filled Coda’s vision like encroaching unconsciousness.
As she regained a sense of place a simplistic world drew itself into focus; contours, shading, and linework constructing a scene of burning tea trees and a little girl - bare feet splashing in the mud as she darted through the orchard rows. The little footprints traced their way back to a house, a thread through empty, offwhite space, meandering past a pair of bodies - one bearing a leaf headband - and into the shadows inside. “Well, that was easy. Hmph, it’s a wonder you’ve maintained composure while refusing to bury such a memory.” The demon’s voice seemed to permeate everything, emerging from nowhere and echoing off every point into a sound emanating from the very core of her being. “What a mess of contradictions in your head, woman. You savor the hunting of your peers, scorn the society you live in, and worship a lesser g-” Coda finally summoned the strength to speak, willing a voice despite her own incorporeality, but it was hoarse and raspy. “Finish the thought and you’re going on the list too Kalamari.” Somewhere in the background Gyuki finished the deed he’d previously begun with a sickening crunch.
The world shifted again and suddenly the woman was the little girl, this time standing before a growing whirlpool. As it swirled the lines comprising the watery vortex shifted, unfurling into the form of Gyuki, towering over his young host. “Touchy subject? Fine, let’s get down to brass tacks then, before time runs out. The ambitions boiling below your surface, yearning for freedom, will prove difficult to achieve. They’ll also be hard to conceal, if you catch my drift. I have no desire to return to captivity within that Evergreen stooge, which will certainly happen if you die here. Given your seal is far too new for me to overpower, our options are simple. You allow me to fight this battle, you get the power to achieve your ends, neither of us suffer the sword dangling above our heads.” The demon said, a pair of tentacles moving to drift directly above the crown of both their heads.
The girl regarded the beast for a moment, pacing before the figure that now loomed over her. “Why? Why give you control? Why should I trust you, a creature dropped into my head by a bunch of people I let my guard down around like a moron? You want me playing lackey to something that lives in my own bod-” The tentacle again found Coda’s form this time wrapping around her entire body, squeezing with force that made her feel like she’d give way at any moment. It was as if the air, or perhaps the sensation of air existing in her head, had simply ceased to be. “You misunderstand! The choice has already been made for you, none here will agree to undo it, least of all me. This was not an offer, it was an explanation of terms. Trust doesn’t factor into it. Unlike my brethren I do not revel in the discomfort you experience at the dispossession of your agency, but the act is complete.” The girl finally gave in as a second tentacle, the one previously drifting above her head, applied still more crushing force - dissipating into ink once more.
When she reformed, Coda stood face to face with Lahlil and Anton on the roof of the Academy in Uzushiogakure, ink flowing as if across parchment to complete the image. “You have reached out to seize power from an unlikely source before.” Gyuki mused as Lahlil and Anton began slowly moving. “And what happened, demon?” The woman asked, her voice now more her own, the trademark curt annoyance returning. “You think Lahlil abandoned you, that you reaped foolish rewards for foolish action, but the progression of the world is not immutable. You know this, it’s why you act the way you do. You’ve lived it, just as the Hokage lived it. And personal feelings aside, you did gain power.” He said as teeth sank into the rooftop Coda’s flesh, four canines puncturing holes as all else including those who did the deed faded from the scene. “You must learn to use my chakra, make it your own, or my inhabitation of your body will eventually kill you.” As Gyuki spoke, ink roiling with violet chakra seeped from the wounds, forming a quartet of tendrils snaking their way around her form once again. This time the application of force was immediate and overwhelming.
One last scene drifted into view, this time with the woman standing over her former self. The Coda of the past lay bleeding, leg nearly severed at mid thigh, burns and shrapnel pocking the right side of her body. “A careless decision, an inciting incident. It was years of recovery, yes?” Coda stood over her history, an icy gaze transfixed by the brutality of a scene she’d never be able to view in such a manner on her own. “Uzu moved on without you. Packed you in a wagon with the rest of the invalids, and dragged you back to the ruins of the village that killed your sleepy little tea farming settlement. Branded you with that leaf and then let you languish. How many times did Lahlil visit? Two, three in half a decade? She barely recognized you when you finally managed to make it back. Do you really want to let that slip away for the sake of principal? You’ll be bleeding in the dirt again in no time without me.” The ink began shifting again as black tears streamed from the woman’s eyes, eight tendrils of chakra swirling around her and then compressing. This time, however, Coda did not break. Instead the ink swirled on her form, coalescing into a cloak of violet chakra. “Good, good. You’ve regained your perspective.”

Back in the real world Cadence was lifeless momentarily, and then came the chakra. First enveloping her and then shifting to the Hachibi’s signature hue. A pair of tentacle-like tails raised the woman back to her considerable height, and the color in the combination of violet and ink black flared in her rising fist as she loomed over the medic. Like fissures through the earth the intense purple spread, up across the now unrecognizable face, twisting around the horns of the chakra cloak. Cadence’s whole body torqued as if she meant to put her fist clear through Kameyo’s chest with as much force as she could manage.
Eyes flicked to the response from the other jinchuriki, using the clashing techniques to judge location, and then - just as soon as she’d seemed ready to turn Kameyo into a pile of goo - she was gone in a gust.
Just above the water of the crystal maze, directly over Nami’s head, Cadence’s punch was thrown, entering the surface up to the elbow. It seemed for a moment as if nothing would happen. What appeared to be a small release of chakra occurred as the violet hues of the cloak died down once more. The torrent of force that followed would seem incomprehensible considering the event that triggered it. While the normal complement of flames that went along with Ignition Release would be initially snuffed out by the mass of water, now augmented by Gyuki the shockwave that followed would do all the work that the usually flashy bloodline would normally do. A nearly two hundred fifty foot wave of pure force, more than capable of shattering the earth below a good portion of the maze, zipped through the liquid in the blink of an eye like a massive depth charge.
[TL;DR: Gyuki took over Coda by forcing her to master cloak stage 1, then did big boom in water above Nami.]
It goes boom when it touches stuff, range is 60ft for the explosion which was reduced by the water, and an additional 60ft for the shockwave, coming to 120ft which is doubled by Colossus Impact to 240ft.

The user's strength and speed are increased by [1] point per rank of the armor. Taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques used while the armor is active create shock waves [5] feet in the direction of the attack per rank of the technique.
[ Mirror Image Arts Training ] The user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. ------- The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.
More?! Musica watched wide eyed as the yokai disappeared, leaving the girl with the water serpent. The young shinobi barely had time to register that, before the water around her formed into a prison of razor sharp blades. Musica grit her teeth and clapped her hands together, forcing chakra from her body to swirl into the water. As the incoming jutsu closed in on her, the swirling freezing water spun rapidly around the girl, blocking her from the barrage of blades and giant snakes by either dispersing them or freezing them. The tornado tide spun rapidly enough to push Musica from the salty sea, shooting her into the air high above the waters. And not a second too soon, either, for her to see Coda unleash the power of Gyuki upon the world. “Another one..?” She breathed, watching awestruck at the power of the new Jinchuriki. “I hope we don’t have to fight her next…” She muttered as she turned her face away to avoid crystal shrapnel. With the maze shattered and her vantage point as she fell through the air, the Chunin was able to clearly see the battlefield below. Kenshin was recovering from having the demon ripped from him, and Kameyo seemed to be in similar straits. Shion, however, seemed to be revving at full throttle. “Hey furball!” As Musica came crashing back down she weaved signs while yelling to the Nibi host. Musica poured more chakra into her Curse Mark, allowing the splintering tattoo to encroach over more of her body like ice, as she weaved signs. “Follow my lead!” It was probably ill fitting for Musica to be shouting orders to the ANBU head, but they needed to take down the Isobu host as quickly as possible. Teamwork, begrudging or otherwise, was paramount to taking down such a powerful foe. So the execution of this next attack would be crucial.
The water around Nami began to swirl and shift at her feet as Musica finished the last of her signs. The water rose, rushing up to surround Nami on all sides before it froze over and encased her in a prison of mirrors. [Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals S>Korabo with Shion >S+ Overwhelming] Musica hit the mirror at the top of the dome with full force, her frame sinking into the ice before reflecting upon the surface of every mirror. The mirrors were strong, strong enough to give Shion multiple platforms to bounce from to attack Nami from every angle. The onslaught wouldn’t stop with Shion’s barrage. Once the demon host was out of the dome of mirrors, each one would light up, plasma shining from each mirror before Musica launched the blasts at Nami. [Laser Circus S>DA Boost>S+ Overwhelming]
▰ Winter's Howl [ Fuyu no Unari ] | Rank S>S+ Overwhelming The user forms a hand sign as they manipulate any existing ice or snow on the battlefield. From the appointed location, a twister forms that is up to five feet in width and ten feet in height per rank of the technique. This twister gives off a haunting howl that allows genjutsu or performer class ninja to apply the sound sense to a genjutsu, using the twister as it's trigger. These mirrors are large enough to comfortably display the user within as they meld into the reflective surface of one, appearing as a reflection within all created mirrors. Each mirror faces the center of the dome, creating a half spherical barrier that requires an S+ amount of chakra to escape from. Each mirror requires a dedicated activation and an A Rank minimum of chakra to completely shatter it. Lesser techniques will simply create multiple shards of reflective ice that are still usable. Those within it cannot use body flicker to escape, substitution and turning speed and agility bonuses into a negative bonus of equal number. The user is able to move freely within the mirrors, traveling from one to another without resource cost if not dodging a technique. If the user is moving to avoid an attack they must pay resources equal to the rank and potency of the incoming attack. Additionally, if the mirror is destroyed that the user resides within, the mirror absorbs the entirety of the damage so the user may move to their next mirror the following post.
Tier Four Frostbite
Only the fiercest of cold techniques can affect an opponent at this tier. This tier of cold ravages the target's agility severely while preventing the use of their frozen limbs for an elongated time. Techniques of S-S+ Rank apply to tier four frostbite. Katon techniques of S-S+ Rank combat this tier of frostbite.

▱▰▱Once Gyuki was transfered over, Kenshin did not remember it transpiring. He could only tell based on Coda's reaction that it was successful. It was like a dreamless sleep as he missed the moment between have Gyuki and no longer having it. Once he regained his bearings, he could sense that he no longer had Gyuki and that the transfer was successful. The burden of carrying such power was no longer on his shoulders and yet he could feel some residual power from the demon within him still. This would allow him to continue the purification rituals on others as a former jinchuuriki and human sage. Ever since he sliced off Gyuki's horn and aided in sealing him into the Arashikage, his fate was inexplicitly tied to the bijuu. Even now he felt some remnant connection to it as he returned to his feet. Kameyo's statement that it was time to purify Isobu and help Nami helped him re-focus once he regained consciousness. Kenshin took flight again as his powerful cloaks of chakra persisted in protecting him from hostile attacks. Rather simply, the tenseigan sage flew toward Isobu at blinding speeds before attempting to slam his palm on his head. Kenshin had too much adrenaline to feel exhausted as he applied as much sage and demonic chakra as humanly possible to try to rid Isobu of Jashin's influence. "By the balanced scales of nature I have raised you out of darkness, Isobu." Kenshin gave a brief prayer as he used the unique mixture of reincarnation chakra, sage chakra, and Gyuki's remaining demonic chakra to banish Jashin from Isobu for good. If successful, then the bright light of the chakra would radiate outwards and bring peace to Isobu and Nami.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion cocked a brow as someone, presumably, called out to her. Furball, huh? Maybe the kid wasn't such a lost cause after all; it takes guts to talk to the avatar of annihilation Shion currently presented as like that. Follow her lead, thought? What could that... oh, okay. The mirrors quickly formed around their target, entrapping the beast in a makeshift cage with the Nibi host.
Alright kid, let's see if your jutsu can hold up. She'd think to herself. With quick flicker, Shion would leave behind a mirror image, appearing atop one of the many mirrors. Shifting her mask aside, Shion would reveal her daredevil grin as she announced to the world this fight was soon over. "Alright, buckle the hell up, you damn turtle!" Her voice roared, rising above a crescendo of explosions that propelled Shion past the Isobu and into one of the many mirrors. As she touched each mirror, Shion would blink away only to erupt from a new one, launching past the Isobu and delivering a series of rapid explosive strikes as she did.
"DIE!" One last battle cry as explosion after explosion wreathed the demon-turtle in a cloud of smoke. Once each mirror had been utilized, Shion would launch herself from the smoke cloud to let Musica's laser jutsu do it's work. "Combination Jutsu: Laser Flash Finale!" Shion would declare, landing next to the child and letting Kenshin go about finalizing the purification ritual. "Nice work out there kid," Shion would say, giving Musica a slug on the shoulder. With a quick breath, Shion's Demon Sage cloak would fade away, leaving behind the girl the party had started out with. "But call me furball again, and you'll need more than mirrors and lights to save your a**."

▰ Howitzer Impact [ Hauzā Inpakuto ] | Rank S+ | Complex | Overwhelming | Korabo w/ Musica The user darts aggressively toward a target, leaping into the air as three small explosions no larger than ten feet in radius occur in succession around the user to propel them into a circular motion while continuing toward their target. The user's body spins faster and faster, engulfed in flames as they form a twister of flame and ash that reaches any point within the topic, freely allowing the user to change their trajectory until striking a surface or target. Upon impact, the user slaps their hand on the target or surface, releasing a devastating amount of explosive firepower from their hand. This explosion is focused and jettisons through the entire target, shattering techniques as though they were two ranks lower in strength and ignoring all armors, spreading one hundred feet in width and height. After the fiery explosion, a wave of concussive force washes over the entire topic, washing the area with flames and ash while throwing all objects within the hundred foot radius back up to two hundred feet while causing tier four burns, burning, vertigo, trauma and deafness. Targets stricken by this technique directly are incapacitated and nearly unrecognizable due to the horrific explosion that occurs on their person, requiring medical attention from a hospital or a S+ Ranked healing technique before regaining consciousness.

An angry growl erupted from the host's body as Gyuki was able to safely get into a new host, so much for making Kenshin a hypocrite. The explosion had enough force to sent a pillar of water up into the sky and it spread around. The water levels were less but they were still there to keep Nami submerged. Not for much longer. The eyes narrowed when seeing the ice prison as Nami took control for a moment, gasped softly, her hand gripped her paralyzed arm as she groaned in pain before that moment washed away into something much more powerful. Quickly, the beast curled up into a ball, hiding in its 'crystalized' demonic shell to protect from the blasts but even that, the shell has finally been broken. Rain of explosions woudl do that. Another screech out of pure rage and anger when it was blinded by Musica's attack. Cracks and fissures, bruises and blood, it emerged to only be faced by Kenshin's palm-

"Isobu..." Nami sobbed as she could feel the pain. It was overwhelming. Confusing. Her head turned as she yelped in sudden brightness and heard Isobu's roar. Just like that, she was free. Slowly opened her eyelids, she was able to see her arms that she apparently used to cover herself from the sudden bright light. It was then, she saw Isobu as she ran up to Isobu, her body hit with a soft thud against the shell. She couldn't see Isobu. "Isobu? Are you okay? Talk to me... Isobu.." Nami begged as she tried to look into the shell to find her friend. There was nothing. "Come on Isobu, it's me, Nami. Your friend, remember?" Her voice cracked, it was so dry and hoarse.

The opalescent maze had shattered, pieces and dust flew everywhere. The earth below shook for a moment as Isobu used the last bit of his power to open the earth to swallow the sea into it and closed it back up. On the soaked ground, the sun shone through the now clear sky, revealing pieces of Nami's pearl crystals on the ground. Nami's hand gently rose as she grasped Kenshin's wrist and fell forward. Her eyelids were closed and every part of her body screamed in pain. Ignored that, she wanted to get a message across to Kenshin, "Thank you..." She muttered a whisper towards Kenshin before slipped into darkness.

Her physical body was too tired for Nami to stay awake. She wanted to be here instead, to make sure Isobu was okay. "Isobu.." Her throat was dry and parched. There was no response, she was met with deafness. With a weary sigh, she leaned forward onto Isobu's shell and slid down.
"I'm okay."
Nami gasped at hearing his voice and saw the shell slightly cracked enough for her to see Isobu's singular eye. He looked tired too. Nami smiled, cracked her lips as she nodded, and they both slumber for a moment.
PassiveEffects: Demon Mastery: The host dons a bright sea green fog of chakra with terrifying ephemeral illusory images as they and Isobu are able to unify their will and openly share his chakra and the host's body without reserve. This sea green chakra hugs the user's form and clothing tightly, appearing similarly. The user manifests all three tails and forms a spiky gray turtle shell over their body with three gray spiky shrimp-like tails. One of the host's eyes close and the other remains open with a ghastly yellow glow. This allows viewing the crystals to be used as a sight trigger for genjutsu. Genjutsu triggered with this method cost one rank higher to kai but require one tier lower to release through pain at a maximum of S+ chakra and a minimum of tier one pain. However, he still used his tenseigan vision to relocate Toso and...he was gone. He obsessively scanned over the Lightning County with his massive vision and could find no trace of Toso or Saiken's chakra. "Damn it all, I can't find him. Toso." Kenshin sighed in frustration through his grit teeth. His voice could be heard by Kameyo and perhaps others who chose to listen. "I'll need to put my sensory specialists to work at the Citadel to find him. Besides, I'm almost out of chakra and wouldn't be able to help Saiken right now even if I could find Toso on my own." The shinobi sentinel analyzed out loud and despite his exhaustion was singularly focused on the mission. He could only hope that the Jashinists did not get to Toso first. "We're close to the Citadel anyway. Let's get Nami there to get treated and then we'll send her back to Kumoito protect the Empress." The Pale Citadel's medical facilities are world-class so Kenshin figured that would be the best place. It was increasingly necessary for them all to regroup before continuing the mission. He stood up and looked over the group, most of whom were clearly exhausted. "We'll need to go to the Pale Citadel to the west to figure out where Toso and the remaining jinchuuriki are. Each of you can either accompany me or go off on your own." Kenshin turned around and began walking west to the Nohara province where the Pale Citadel was nestled. He expected that Kameyo would follow and bring Nami. He would also allow Coda to recuperate in his home from the sealing if she so desired.

The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.

Cadence's post punch trajectory sent her splashing through the dwindling Suiton jutsu as the rogue jinchuriki was finally forced into submission. In the back of her mind Coda pondered the scene as the body she portrayed currently pulled itself back to its feet and the purple glow of the chakra cloak shimmered in the dissipating vapors. If she let go, let Gyuki maintain the control he was currently relinquishing, she reckoned he could pop the head off the medic like one of those candy toy dispensers and at least put the Hyuga's eyes out. A deft strike could probably make the incapacitated woman a decapitated woman. There was no way this lot could resist a released biju, and they also couldn't rightly leave it to wander free with jashinists kicking about. "You will not get the last two. And Isobu would gut you, probably before he bothered resisting the others. Besides, do you really want to kill the little bird at the edge of the nest. There's so much ~you~, in her." The woman's fist closed, her eyes fixating on it, and the cloak faded away into nothing soon after. "You will get yourself killed if you do not bring your delusions in line. Your analysis is sharp, but you too often fail to draw it to its true endpoint."
The fist tightened as she watched the others exit. "This is a violation of-us both, fool. You miss the bigger picture in your single-minded cogitation of retribution. A wielder of the Tenseigan commanding a skilled medic and sealer, along with a jinchuriki and a young one talented or persistent enough to command a spot on a vital mission. You heard them before I was in your head. You think the village would abide you popping a head in that group? You think Konoha would? You still haven't finished your mission, and you still need your cover." Coda had to admit, the beast was right. Another fleck of paint in the mural of might haves flaked away as Kenshin and Kameyo turned to leave as if they'd not just committed a grievous violation of another person's body. Another chip flitting away from the mottled figure of a happier young woman, leaving a new hole in her cheek at the base of the right eye. Others were missing. Smaller portions of the lips, a good bit in the forehead, a hole in the chest that seemed to be the source of decay, a few fingers in various states of disrepair.
She'd first encountered the specter when she was laying in a pool of her own blood on the border of the Land of Fire, but Gyuki it seemed saw fit to enhance its clarity. It was more damaged than it had been on the sleepless nights, laying in a hospital bed, trying to process the notion that she might be better off without the leg. Than it was when Sadayo left her at the gates, ears ringing, without a second thought as to her wellbeing. It was already an image beyond saving. Perhaps someone could cobble back together a fake, but it would be built purely on artifice and delusion.
Cadence's hand dropped as the hallucination faded. She wanted more than anything to pull the tongue that proclaimed self-righteousness like a battle cry while talking of razing villages and ordering a subordinate to assault an injured woman from the mouth of its owner. To just waltz off, showing concern only for the jinchuriki that had just tried to murder them all - not even a twinkle of compassion for the person whose life he'd just changed irrevocably on a whim. It was beyond callous, it was psychotic. And the medic woman, certainly no better, equally unconcerned with the state of the person she'd just turned into a living weapon without consent even after watching the chakra beast she'd just forced upon them seize total control. Coda was trash to them, a bin in which to deposit an inconvenient parcel in order to preserve whatever plan they'd cooked up at the center point of an upheaval they seemed to have, from her perspective, spread to every corner of the globe. The Oinin had very little interaction with Arashi-nin prior to this, but if this was any indication the majority lacked the same simple empathies of the shinobi in her own village.
Still, despite all of this, Gyuki was right. Cere still had a mission to complete, technically. And, for all anyone here was concerned, Cadence wasn't related to the leaf formally. The only path was forward. A heavy, exhausted sigh accompanied a tired glance in the direction of Musica and Shion before the rather arduous looking process of putting one unstable foot in front of the other began. [ Exit ]

The pattern that covered more than half of her body began to recede, glowing with a white-blue light as it shrunk down her left arm and into her palm. The water splashed at her feet as it sank back into the ground and Kenshin removed his hand from Nami. Musica looked around as she stood up straight, wiping sweat from her brow. “I hope no more of those punks show up…” She muttered. “Felt like all we had just to knock that one down… Those bijuu’re something else.”
Musica took a second longer to catch her breath before her face lit up like a lightbulb. “Oh! That reminds me!” The white hair Chunin, with a sudden burst of energy, ran for the new demon host. To the nameless stranger who had just been on a rampage. Without a moment to lose too, as the other girl had just started to look at Musica with a sigh. “Are you okay?” She asked Cadence, slowing her pace to a more careful walk. “Thank you for your help! The way you took out that other demon was like BANG! POW! BAM!” The excitable ninja made wild gesticulations to emphasize her point.
Musica’s overall intelligence wasn’t something even she was confident in. But it didn’t take brains to see that something weighed heavily on the hunter nin’s mind. And it was unsurprising. The toll of a bijuu was costly indeed, even Musica knew that. “You should come with us. You’ll need some rest to get ready for the way you’ll be growing now, I bet.” Musica extended her left hand out to Cadence, showing her own cursed mark to the girl: a jagged circle made of lightning bolts. “My name’s Musica, by the way! Nice to meet you!” After the introduction, the young ninja would follow her group as well. She made sure to make a detour to Nami, helping her to her feet and along the path to the Citadel.
SHIONxxxxxMORI The sound of Kenshin losing track of Toso quickly soured any positivity that Shion had accrued during the fight. It was a nice distraction from her job, but to hear the entire search had been derailed by it was less than anticipated. With a low, uneven breath, the blue flames that made up Shion's cloak dissipated, taking with them any lingering flames her jutsu may have created. 'You should worry more about finding a new host for Saiken than saving Toso,' she'd think to herself.
The only hint of an audible response to Kenshin's loss of Toso's location would be a light scoff. "Just lead the way. We'll worry about a plan when we get there." Her words were cold, a hollow reflection of the trigger-happy, fuel-injected girl who stood in her place only seconds before. Shion's knuckles turned ice-white as the grip on her blade hilt threatened to snap the wood. With a forcible snap, she sheathed her weapon and followed along with Kenshin.

The user's body spins faster and faster, engulfed in flames as they form a twister of flame and ash that reaches any point within the topic, freely allowing the user to change their trajectory until striking a surface or target. Upon impact, the user slaps their hand on the target or surface, releasing a devastating amount of explosive firepower from their hand. This explosion is focused and jettisons through the entire target, shattering techniques as though they were two ranks lower in strength and ignoring all armors, spreading one hundred feet in width and height. After the fiery explosion, a wave of concussive force washes over the entire topic, washing the area with flames and ash while throwing all objects within the hundred foot radius back up to two hundred feet while causing tier four burns, burning, vertigo, trauma and deafness. Targets stricken by this technique directly are incapacitated and nearly unrecognizable due to the horrific explosion that occurs on their person, requiring medical attention from a hospital or a S+ Ranked healing technique before regaining consciousness.

Cadence was somewhat taken aback by Musica's approach. Concern and compassion, especially with this level of enthusiastic energy, was not a sentiment Coda had come by on a regular basis. It almost felt like a new experience, after clawing her way up through the rather brutal tiers one had to climb to get to special forces in a village as large as Konoha. She stared for a moment as the smaller girl wildly reenacted the fight, and for a moment there was silence hanging in the air between them. "Pay attention, fool." Gyuki's words seemed to shake Cadence out of her trance and she responded with a big, albeit still tired-looking smile.

This means that strikes involving the blade cause physical damage including stab wounds as well as seal tenketsu points and any other effects of the technique used through the sword. An additional 5 chakra can be applied to the blade to prevent it from causing physical damage from thrusting but instead seal tenketsu points and inflict pain similar to a stab wound in the area struck but slashing attacks can still cause damage. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. The initial activation of this technique consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not.
Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
