Ada enjoyed the crisp, fresh air of the Nohara region. She was truly blessed to help govern such a beautiful and important part of the Lightning Empire. The challenges were ceaseless and every victory was reflected in the prosperity seen throughout the civilized and natural realms. She had to open herself to some understanding of Kenshin's divine patron, and found Evergreen's domain to be quite a metaphorical cornerstone for life itself. Kenshin's comment drew her eye from the distant mountains and back to the hilly, reforested countryside. The Senju clansmen she had hired to Nuwa and moved into Seizan were one of her best decisions. The little farming town had become a go-to point of trade for their agricultural boons and impeccable craftsmanship and engineering. "Truly..." Now those Senju were helping support and guide progress in their community and even seemed to be honorable. She knew that other groups she'd moved into communities throughout the Nohara region had similar ripples, exemplifying the glory of the Lightning Empire in a way she could be truly proud of.
Soon after, Kenshin found himself lost in the beauty of the moment, and how that mingled with the feelings in his heart or thoughts on his mind. Ada's full attention was pulled to him as the words left his lips, as if her own heart was telling her to pay heed. "Aw." She cooed then replied, "Alas, this cruelty only strengthens my love for when we see each other again." Ada would draw nearer and kiss his cheek after he'd stared at her then squeezed her hand. It was so wonderful to show her affection to him so openly. Kenshin doing the same more often lately was reminding her how much she appreciated such a wonderful, dedicated man. Exchanging poetry and knowing and feeling that they appreciated the most precious of moments together no matter how menial or rare those moments could be rated. They'd arrive at the ground gates of Arashigakure soon and say their farewells.
