Astronomy ~ Diego did well in Astronomy despite the lateness of the class, mostly because people always said he was often staring off into space. He did study pretty hard for the exam to earn the passing grade however.

Charms ~ Charms is Diego's best core subject so it's only natural that he would score well on the exam. He did review his notes but he didn't need to study too hard to achieve his grade.

Defense Against the Dark Arts ~ His second best core class, Diego did study for. It involved some spell practice in the appropriate area. He also reviewed his notes and studied with his friends to get a decent grade.

Herbology ~ Despite being a Hufflepuff, Diego wasn't too fond of plants. He could water them, but telling the difference between them was a bit more complicated. He spent a fair bit of time studying for the class in order to get a passing grade.

History of Magic ~ He struggled with this class more than any because no matter how much he tried, the material couldn't hold his interest. He wasn't really interested in history, more focused on the present.

Potions ~ Potions, like cooking, are a little difficult for Diego because they involve following strict directions and one small deviation could cause disaster. He studied the subject hard to achieve a good grade and even then, it was barely passing.

Transfiguration ~ Like Potions, Diego barely achieved a passing grade. He has a hard time with math and Transfig involves a lot of it. Between Potions and Transfiguration, Diego spent a lot of time in the library.

Music ~ Easily the best class Diego had. He didn't have to work hard at all to achieve the highest marks.

Muggle Studies ~ Diego's fascination with the Muggle world made this class relatively easy and since his parents still had access to it, he found the class really easy. A little studying was required in order to acquire his grade, though.

Mythology ~ Originally, he thought the class would be easy, but he had a lot of trouble keeping the different deities separate. He spent a decent amount of time studying in order to get a passing grade.
