There is no way that a pride member couldn't notice what's going on out there. They may not be start gazers by trade, but even a quick glance might tell them something strange is happening!
Questions are welcome to be PM'd/DM'd (Mysses#4000) to me! Or posted in the 'ask the pride owner' in the Myrsky Syntynyt discord server. <3

Update 1: Light Above, Trembling Below, Whispers in the Wind
"One, no two." The lights above the pride had started out slowly, showers of glistening somethings were raining across the darkened horizon, and well into the early morning. Most may not even notice or recognize that something odd was happening, but those that took the time to gaze at the skies would have seen the changes.
The soaring lights seem to have been accompanied with something much more close to home. While the lights still continue to fall, and the horizon looks beautiful because of it.. the land below suffers.
First a trembling, small waves of what felt like other worldly power rocked the cliff they lived upon. To an area filled with lions that were unfamiliar with the feeling they would be afflicted with terrible fright - what was happening. Just as the pride began to panic slightly the trembling ceased and life was able to go back to normal.
For those individuals that might have been at the top of the cliff.. they might have seen some debris fall into the raging waters below. Debris that otherwise seemed to be a permanent fixture to the walls of their home.
Something strange has also picked up in the surrounding forests.. have the lights fallen from the sky? Pride members may bear witness too some small lights in the forest, ones that feel so close and yet appear to always be out of reach. As they get deeper into the forests they begin to hear the whisper of disembodied voices...
Have the woods become haunted? Most might think it's just the whistle of the wind through the old branches...

Update 2: Welcomed by a Storm
The woods were an almost welcome distraction from the plague that had struck home. Unnatural voices beckoning loved ones to stray from the pride in favor of something more was always a treat.. a treat that no lion could ignore.
What lions also cannot ignore was the slow betrayal of their home. The walls of the cliff began to crumble, more than usual, and it looks ready to fall from beneath their very paws. Water crashes below, drumming against it to an unknown rhythm. Above the pride can hear the crashing of thunder, and see the strikes of lightning.
A blessing.
Each lion might see these as different signs, but most (especially those born there) would see it as a sign. They had suffered, lost loved ones to more than just the unnatural voices in the woods. They had lost some to 'hunger' and others to an honored death on the battlefield while trying to do all they could to avoid the pains of being at home. The pride deserved this blessing.
One lion in particular considered this blessing to be a sign of his going down the right path...
[A monsoon is currently hitting the pride at varying degrees. The lions may see/interpret the intense storm as they see fit. Thank you to Meep for such fun prompts!]
