- ■ Being that this is her father's area of expertise, and the fact that she spends most of her time at home helping keep him organized, it's no surprise that Anandi is something of an expert in this subject. She'd never pretend to know as much as an actual Astronomer, but she does think she's fairly informed. Growing up as she did, this exam was a total breeze for her, and she came away with a perfect score.
xxxCHARMS ~ Oxxx
- ■ Charms was always a class that came fairly easily to Anandi. She didn't struggle much with wandwork due to her calm and collected demeanor. Given the practicality of the lesson and its application in every day life, she had no trouble focusing in this class and on her studies for it. She easily walked away with an O.
xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ EExxx
- ■ Stress is not something Anandi handles especially well, having lived a reasonably relaxed life up to this point. So, while she is hardly a slouch when it comes to any spells, this was certainly the area she struggled most with. Combined with the fact that she's not particularly worried about her own future, given that she's always done rather well at staying out of trouble. Of course, she's very smart and applies herself well, so she still managed to get a reasonably high EE.
xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ Oxxx
- ■ Anandi has never struggled with her memory, and thus any course that relied on memorization was easy for her. Analysis was somewhat more difficult for her, if only because she has a hard time remaining objective and has a low tolerance for idiocy. Debates regarding historical events and the context surrounding them were a struggle for her. Her O on this exam was well-earned, just barely over the line to qualify.
xxxPOTIONS ~ EExxx
- ■ This exam suffered from Anandi's dislike of being dirty. She has little trouble with following instructions, but disliking the texture of some of the ingredients made her hesitate more than she should have a few times. She was, perhaps, too meticulous as a result, and her grade suffered slightly for it.
xxxTRANSFIGURATION ~ EExxx
- ■ This was a class in which Anandi shone. She was very skilled, easily able to concentrate and focus her energy on appropriately performing spells. There was a lot of information to process, but overall it was mostly easily organized and so she had no trouble with it. However, it is still very complicated magic, so it's no surprise that she was a couple of points off from an O.

xxxALCHEMY ~ Axxx
- ■ Like Potions, Anandi struggled a little with alchemy because she disliked getting dirty or making a mess. Added in the fact that it is a slightly more complicated branch of magic, and one that did not come naturally to her, and she had some trouble with this exam. Overall she did well enough, but not spectacularly.
xxxARITHMANCY ~ Oxxx
- ■ Numbers were always easy for Anandi, and actually made things much easier for her to process. As such, this was one of her best lessons. She did better on this exam than almost any of the others, easily getting an almost perfect score.
xxxDIVINATION ~ Oxxx
- ■ Anandi had a fairly easy time with Divination, due to her own background with Astronomy, and a curiosity at how it worked. She's always been fascinated by the unknown and misunderstood, and so applied herself more in this course than almost any other.
xxxHEALING ~ EExxx
- ■ Another course where a dislike of messes caused issues. However, this was also a very practical course, and one Anandi wanted to do well in, so she applied herself a little harder here than in other courses of a similar nature. She managed to just barely tip the scale over into EE.
xxxMUGGLE STUDIES ~ EExxx
- ■ This course was one in which Anandi generally did well, although sometimes the material would go over her head. Most of it was quite easy, but certain differences in muggle and magical culture threw her completely off. While she did well enough with the technology, some of the pop culture and such went over her head. As a result, she didn't do as well on the exam as she would've liked, barely getting an EE.
xxxMYTHOLOGY ~ Oxxx
- ■ History and mythology were always quite easy for Anandi to follow and keep track of. Mythology was especially easy due to the crossovers between it and Astronomy. She was already well-versed in much of the subject material before ever even starting school, and thus it was easy for her to perform exceptionally well in the class and on the exam.
xxxSTUDY OF ANCIENT RUNES ~ Oxxx
- ■ This class was fairly easy to Anandi. Being bilingual, studying languages, even dead ones, was easier for her than many people. She also had little trouble with the memorization necessary, finding it easy to create mnemonic devices to help her remember things. She was also quite fond of the professor, and found it fun to make games of the material. The exam was a breeze for her, earning her one of her highest marks to date.
Petitioned for higher than average grades on opt-out. Justified because Anandi is a neeeeeeeeeeeerd. Link to OWL exams for reference.
