■ Sher liked this class a lot, though he would be the first to admit that he was more interested in the mythology and storytelling associated with the constellations than studying their actual positions, or what the planets were made out of. Still, he found the class engaging, his grades only somewhat suffering due to the late hour. It wasn't so bad in the lower levels, but with his coursework for NEWTs he slipped a little.

xxxCHARMS ~ Oxxx

■ Charms was Sher's best wandwork class, not that he was bad at wandwork exactly. It just wasn't really where his strengths or interests lie, him being more of an intellectual bent, interested in information rather than action. Still, he was reasonably good at charmwork, and very dedicated to doing well, given the practicality of it. It wouldn't do to not be able to manage spells that were beneficial to every day life, not to mention that most any job he could conceivably want would require the class. So, he studied hard, determined to get high marks.

xxxHERBOLOGY ~ Axxx

■ Sher was never particularly good at this class, but he did enjoy it, if only because he was (sort of) outdoors during it. It was also one of the few occasions he had to get dirty, something that he found himself missing from his childhood in later years. Separation from his sisters only made him more determined to hold on to something that reminded him of them, and mostly what reminded him of them was doing things that were considered uncouth for the heir of an old pureblood line. It wasn't in him to fail a class, so he studied hard enough to pass the exam with fairly average marks.

xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ Oxxx

■ History was always Sher's favorite class. He loved the professor, and had always had a thing for stories, both real and myth. He enjoyed the frequent debates, even though he was generally too timid to get involved personally, and felt like he grew a lot just by listening. He had a good head for dates and names, and so it was easy enough to make high marks on the exam.

xxxCARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES ~ Oxxx

■ This was another class Sher took partially because it reminded him of his sisters. They had spent much of their childhoods playing at being adventurers and knights, fighting evil beasts and befriending not-so-evil ones. He had a wealth of knowledge before ever starting the course, and had always had an affinity for animals, anyway. His patience and good head served him well, and he always received high marks in the class. Passing the exam was child's play.

xxxMYTHOLOGY ~ Oxxx

■ This was Sher's second favorite course, after history. He already knew a lot of the stories they learned about in class, but hearing them from someone other than his aunt and older sisters, and getting to take part in discussions was an entirely new and fascinating thing. He was a little more vocal in this class, it being one of the only ones where he was comfortable enough to speak up. He barely needed to study at all for the exam, though that didn't stop him from doing so, just in case.

xxxSTUDY OF ANCIENT RUNES ~ EExxx

■ Languages didn't exactly come naturally to Sher, but it wasn't from lack of trying. He was very dedicated to this course, it being taught by his favorite professor and having a connection to his interest in history. He put a little more effort into studying for this one than he did most of his other courses. He barely managed enough points to get an EE.

xxxWIZARD LAW ~ EExxx

■ This was the only course Sher took out of necessity, or rather requirement, regardless of his own personal feelings. He knew it was expected of him, and didn't have the rebellious nature of his older sisters. So, he took the course, studied hard, and did well enough. But, his lack of concern for it except as another study of history meant that he didn't always do as well as he could. His score, while relatively high, was probably lower than he was capable of.
