- Want Some Details...?
The weekend has only just begun, and if the title hasn't tipped you off- Friday is getting frizzy! Our lovely beach side residents now have the opportunity to try their hand at the art of potion making for themselves. But beware, blurring the lines of reality is no easy task, not unlike what a certain boy with a lightning shaped scar may have told you.
As you arrive at the former costume shop, you will find small decorative tables scattered about, each covered with a heavy black tablecloth. The four central tables hold a small cauldron of bubbling formula, while the rest hold containers of varied potion ingredients and small bottles for our participants to store their final product in, for better or worse. At the checkout counter are four stacks of papers: four recipes with no indication as to what they create. Your job is to use them in the correct cauldron and make a successful potion- which means having to try them for yourself. And don't worry, folks, things can indeed go very, very wrong.
You’ll want to stop by Pezzles Potions early to get a good head start. Why? The first teams to make one of the four potions correctly win a lucrative prize.
Start Date: 10.06.18: NOW!
Heres How It Works...
⓵ Step One: Choose one of four recipes
Recipe one:
The clipping of a lion’s claw
Six unicorn tears
A pinch of mayflower pollen
Four drops of butterfly blood
One four leaf clover
Recipe Two:
One teaspoon of summer solstice
A strand of spider silk
4 grams of concentrated lavender
A quarter of the scale from a mermaid
Three pinches of pink salt
Recipe Three:
3 strips of petrified tree bark
A sprinkle of fairy dust
Two inches of a pigs tail
Two silver hairs of a drow
Half a witch’s wart
Recipe Four:
Two shakes of a lambs tail
The petal of a milky white poppy flower
A j**zale That's- um- No good teenagers a DRIZZLE of orc spit
Half a seasoned cow’s tongue
Three drops of weeping willow tears
Luckily no one has to go hunting for these ingredients themselves
⓶ Step Two: Chose one of four cauldrons
Cauldron one: Filled with a Green brew, creates an Invisibility potion when the right ingredients are added. The user becomes invisible for a short time.
Cauldron two: Filled with a Red brew, creates an Appearance potion when the right ingredients are added. The user experiences a change in hair & eye color for a short time.
Cauldron three: Filled with a Yellow brew, creates a Shrink potion when the right ingredients are added. The user shrinks in size, anywhere from 5 inches to 2 feet for a short time.
Cauldron four: Filled with a Blue brew, creates a Talent potion when the right ingredients are added. The user becomes perfect in a new talent for a short time.
Each successful potion lasts an hour.
⓷ Step Three: Generate a number between 1 & 50
1-14: Small, terrible potion
15-29: Mediocre, eh potion
30-44: Average potion, it's alright
45-50: The perfect potion
If the recipe and cauldron combo are right, your overall potion score is moved to the next highest score bracket- but if it's in the WRONG cauldron, it will be moved to the next lowerst. And should you get anything other than a perfect potion, fear not- the store manager will happily use a counter spell to cure you.
