I am sorry to say that your character, Akira Hattori, must be denied for the following reason:
Unfortunately, due to some issues in the past with troublesome members, we've had to impose some limits on what members are allowed to do right off the bat. Once you've established yourself in the guild as a responsible roleplayer, you'll find that you have much more freedom with your characters. But, until you've been around long enough for us to know you can be trusted with out there or unusual characters, we'll probably deny anything that seems too over the top: - Characters who are strongly based on another character existing in fiction (aka the 'I just really wanted to play Frodo Baggins but as a Hogwarts student' character).
This can be found in the Information for New Members thread in the third post under Restrictions for New Members. As stated, we cannot allow new members to make characters based off of another source due to the fact that we don't know whether you loosely based it off of another character or whether you just made a copycat character. We only allow members who have been in the guild a while to do so when we know that the member would not copy a character in its entirety. EARLY CHILDHOOD Akira Hattori was born to Haruto and Nicole Hattori. Nicole was originally from England but traveled to Japan for work (as a model) and fell in love with Haruto (a clothing designer). They married only four months after meeting. Nicole became pregnant shortly after they were wed. Though she did leave the modeling industry shortly after her pregnancy was discovered, she returned only months after Akira was born. Due to his parents careers, Akira traveled all over the globe before he ever attended school.
SCHOOL YEARS When Akira turned 7 he was accepted to Mahoutokoro. His parents were immensely pleased when he received his letter. They had begun to wonder if he was magical due to him never showing any signs. Though they both insisted he still keep up with his mundane studies while attending Mahoutokoro. Akira was a very good student and his robes remained a gold-ish color the whole time he attended Mahoutokoro.
His parents continued to travel even before Akira could board at Mahoutokoro. On weeks his family was out of the country their housekeeper Reo would care for Akira. When Akira was 15, he received a notification while at school his parents had passed in an accident. An apparition accident had caused their demise. While Reo did help as much as he could, Akira did not handle their deaths well. Though he maintained his grades, his personality changed. He went from being an intelligent and carefree child into an analytical and closed off young man. Eventually Akira did open up once more but his overly cautious nature remained. He also developed a fear of enclosed spaces.
POST-GRADUATION After Akira graduated from Mahoutokoro, he chose to attend mundane university. Akira enrolled at Chuo University in their astronomy department. Eventually Akira received his bachelors degree and then his doctorate degree. After he achieved both degrees he traveled around the world visiting different observatories and astronomy research centers. He found his wander-lust eventually brought him to England his mother's homeland. He settled in London and got a job working at Birkbeck, University of London. He teaches entry level astronomy there but has begun to feel too disconnected from his magical heritage and so has chosen to seek out a career in Hogwarts.
