[Forge PRP] Man that's so Shiny! (Topper)

While the Forgemaster is all scars and muscles, he still has an appreciation for the finer things in life. Particularly, sparkling jewels. Venture into the caverns to the East and if you’re lucky enough, you may find some shiny gems to trade for gold pieces!
Goal: Collect as many gems as you can find!
Instructions: Roll 1d6 and match your rolls to the outcomes below!
There is a rumbling sound and the ground begins to shake. The cavern is caving in! You better leave as quickly as possible! (End exploration!)
Something glimmers in the distance and you carefully seek it out. It seems to be some sort of crystal but it’s sparkly enough! (+2 gems)
A bat drops down from the ceiling of the cave, scratching and screeching. In your attempts to escape its claws, you lose some of your gems. (-2 gems)
You seem to be searching for hours. You’ve not sure if you even remember the way back to the exit. All hope is fading. But then you see it! The biggest gemstone you’ve ever seen. You’re not even certain you’ll be able to carry it out alone! (+5 gems)
You slip on some loose gravel and slide down a dip in the cave, tumbling as you reach the bottom. Your gems spill out and while you find most, some are still lost. (-1 gem)
As you enter the cave you notices some crystals forming. They’re not the shiniest of jewels but maybe they’ll polish up nicely. (+1 gem)


Reward: 2 gold pieces for completing.
Bonus: 1 – 3 gems: +1 gold piece
5 – 7 gems: +2 gold pieces
7 – 10 gems: +3 gold pieces
10+ gems: +5 gold pieces

Topper was so excited to start her next quest that she was racing at full speed ahead. It seemed like it was only a little while ago when she had done her first quest. This one seemed a little easier and it was in such a cool area too! A cave of all things, she wondered if it was like the caves she had seen when she traveled or the caverns around her and Teykali. Either way she wanted to finish as many quests as she could so she could go back and tell him all about them. Even though she really wished they could do some of these together, but she knew she would probably be a worry wart about it too. She never understood why but she did worry a lot about him. Which was still new to her, since he was the only person she had ever worried about like this. She shook her head of thoughts of him and continued to walk ahead to her quest destination.

This quest was not super hard from what she had heard, but fun all the same. Her plan was to work on the easy ones, since she figured it was better to get those out of the way and then work her way up to the harder ones. Plus by that point she would also probably be beyond ready for what might lie ahead. Though right now she had no idea what that may be.

As she walked she noticed the area begin to change and what looked like a cave up ahead. "that must be what I'm looking for," she said to herself as she quickened her pace. It was only a few feet ahead from the look of it and if she hurried she'd be there in no time. Which she was right about since she got there in just a couple of minutes time, she was probably going way faster than she thought. Excitement tended to make her legs move much quicker.

Reaching the entrance she stopped for a brief moment to check if there was anything she needed to complete or do before entering. Thinking back to the Forgemaster and his many battle scars and super big muscles she would never have. She remembered him just saying he loved things like jewels that sparkled and shined. The more she could collect the more gold she could receive which seemed simple enough to her. So she continued and entered the cave preparing to look for some jewels. Though that was when she heard it, the rumble...

"What is that," she whispered to herself as she looked around and it didn't take long before she noticed the cave looked like it was coming apart. Piece by rock piece it was starting to fall to the ground and she could feel the ground shaking in return to it's fall. At that moment Teykali entered her head and she quickly turned around and ran. While she wasn't one to normally leave something unfinished she also had something or someone she wanted to live for more. So she left and thought she could always try again later, after all maybe she wasn't the only one who would run into this problem she thought as she headed back towards the camp to get another quest.
