This is a private role-play between Nova (Calixita) and the familiar Solset.

Feathers!
The task is simple! The Forgemaster needs the highest quality feathers to stuff his pillows. Unfortunately, he’s deathly afraid of birds and doesn’t have it in him to collect them himself.
Goal: Collect as many feathers as you can!
Instructions: Roll 20d100. You can roll all at once or split them up for the sake of continuing the RP. But the most you can roll is 20 times! For every number above 80, you’ve collected a feather!
Reward: 1 gold pieces per feather with a maximum of 10!

Calixita rolled 20 100-sided dice: 35, 69, 82, 16, 17, 41, 53, 66, 92, 30, 48, 64, 45, 48, 59, 100, 22, 90, 65, 69 Total: 1111 (20-2000)

Feathers. That should be simple enough. She had plenty of her own, but she wasn't about to pluck them to stuff in some pillow. Or... pluck them at all, for that matter. They'd molt when they were good and ready, and even then, she'd rather use them for some nice jewelry instead of stuffed somewhere that they couldn't be admired. This section of the forest was home to a nice, large flock of birds, so they were sure to find a few here. Yes, 'they' -- a little mouse familiar offered to come along to help, and Nova happily agreed, glad to have some company for the journey. She had introduced herself as Solset, and was currently riding on Nova's back, all but buried between her massive sets of wings. The mouse would be safer there, protected, just in case any of the birds here got the bright idea to try and make a meal out of her. Nova wouldn't let that happen.

Solset huddled in the cavern of Nova's wings, grateful she was willing to let her tag along. She wasn't sure how much help she could be with all these birds around, but she wanted to help. In retrospect, it probably hadn't been a great idea to take on this particular task -- but now that she was here, she was determined to see it through. Nova would shield her if any of the birds got it into their heads to turn her into a nice little snack. Solset shuddered at the thought.

"Ah, there are some fine looking feathers over here." Nova trotted to a few fallen ones, obviously recently molted and not collected for nest-making. She leaned her head down to inspect them, smiling at the quality. The Forgemaster would approve of these, she was sure of it. "What do you think, Solset?" She spread her wings out over the collection of feathers, shielding the area from view so Solset could examine them.

Solset climbed down Nova's body, sliding down her leg to the ground. She sniffed at the feathers, nodding and picking each of them up. "There's two good ones here. The Forgemaster will probably want a bit more than this." She clutched the feathers close as she climbed back up onto Nova, settling down between her shoulders again. The least she could do was carry them -- she wasn't sure she would be much help otherwise.

Nova nodded in agreement. She knew others would be filling this task for the Forgemaster, but they could do much better than two. He said he'd pay them by the feather, after all! The birds above were getting restless, so they'd have to make this quick. It seems they didn't like intruders invading their territory -- which was fair enough. If Nova had a home of her own, she wouldn't want strangers pilfering through her things either. Especially not without asking! None of them seemed to be spirit-touched, though, so it wasn't as though they could. It meant there was no reasoning with them if they got irritated, either. "How about these?" she asked, nosing away a few leaves and twigs to reveal a couple of brightly colored feathers. Solset peered down at them over her shoulder and nodded. As Nova bent down to pick them up, though, she heard angry chirping from above -- and then a peck to the top of her head. "Ow!" she cried, shaking her head to try and scare off the bird, looking up. Birds were swooping down from the canopy now, chirping and screeching at them to get out. "I don't think we're welcome here anymore!" she cried, folding her wings up a little tighter around Solset. She ducked her head down and grabbed up the last two feathers before making a run for it, bolting out of the forest. The birds only followed them for a short way, thankfully, before giving up and returning to their nests and their home, now free of invaders. Between the pair of them, they only had four feathers -- but it wasn't worth the risk getting more. Their little beaks hurt!
