	This is a private RP for LOLTERNATIVE with the following soquili / familiars Mushroom Soup The Forgemaster's favourite food is mushroom soup. However, he doesn't often have time to go out and collect the mushrooms to make it. Find him enough mushrooms to make the stew and he'll not only share a meal with you but he'll grant you a shiny gold piece (or two). Goal: Collect 20 mushrooms. Instructions: Roll 1d6 and match your rolls to the outcomes below! This mushroom is a little slimy and you're not entirely sure if that's a good thing or not. The last thing you want to do is give the Forgemaster food poisoning so you test it yourself. That's the only thing you remember and you wake up sometime later in a haze. -3 mushrooms In the remnants of a decaying log, you find the mother load. The largest mushrooms you've ever seen! And even more lucky, you remember these mushrooms and know they're good to eat! (+5 mushrooms) You seem to have stumbled into a large thicket of brambles. It takes you some time to pull all the thorns out of your sides and it seems as though they tore a hole in your sack and you lost some mushrooms. (-2 mushrooms) Some of the woodland creatures got curious at the soquili traipsing through their home. You seem to be making an awful lot of noise and they want you gone asap! They brought you some mushrooms to help speed the process along. (+3 mushrooms) Nothing out of the ordinary with this find, you just happened to sniff them out. (+1 mushroom) Seems like another group of woodland creatures doesn't like you stealing their mushrooms. They perform an elaborate trick of death defying skill while another pilfers your sack! (-1 mushroom) Reward: 10 gold pieces

	Vasilissa, Alexi and Rosa made the effort to visit the Forgemaster. Word had spread quickly of his wares and it was decided that, even if they could not purchase anything for themselves, forming a diplomatic relationship with him would be beneficial. Normally she may have sent an emissary in her place, but this time she deemed the task too important and didn't want to give offense by not coming personally. Naturally, as her mate and commander of her Queen's Guard, Alexi accompanied her and wherever Vasilissa went, Rosa followed. The journey was long and hard, the winter snows slowing their progress, but they made it in one piece. Introductions were made and the Forgemaster didn't seem impressed with her royal status or her goals in life - he was, however, not rude and treated her with respect deserved of a lady. "Looks like we're going to have to work for it like everyone else, dear," Alexi mused as they looked over the job board. "Collecting mushrooms seems easy enough, right?" Rosa called from her perch atop the job board. "It pays out pretty high, too." Vasilissa nodded. -- The first mushroom they came across was questionable at best. It was slimy and gave off a strange odour. Vasilissa hesitated to bring it back with them. "Let's taste it first," Alexi said, stepping forward to eat the whole mushroom. For a moment, nothing happened and Vasilissa was about to put the rest when Alexi slumped over. There was a mass of panic and squawking from Rosa but after ten minutes he woke up, in a daze but alive. Mushrooms: 0 This mushroom is a little slimy and you're not entirely sure if that's a good thing or not. The last thing you want to do is give the Forgemaster food poisoning so you test it yourself. That's the only thing you remember and you wake up sometime later in a haze. -3 mushrooms

	They moved through the woods as carefully as possible, but apparently they were still too destructive. With a shrill cry, a bunch of woodland creatures launched an attack on them. They turned tail and ran as fast as they could, any mushrooms they may have seen left behind. Mushrooms: 0 Seems like another group of woodland creatures doesn't like you stealing their mushrooms. They perform an elaborate trick of death defying skill while another pilfers your sack! (-1 mushroom)

	After their run-in with the woodland creatures, the group was prepared to flee when they noticed another group. This group, however, was much more forgiving of their trespassing and sympathetic towards their course and they offered them some mushrooms to help speed along the process. Rosa took them carefully and popped them into the satchel that hung from Vasilissa's side. Mushrooms: 0 Some of the woodland creatures got curious at the soquili traipsing through their home. You seem to be making an awful lot of noise and they want you gone asap! They brought you some mushrooms to help speed the process along. (+3 mushrooms)

	Their task had a few unfortunate starts, but they were making good progress now! Alexi found a lone mushroom growing off the side of the tree. He carefully plucked it and popped it into the bag with the others. Mushrooms: 3 Nothing out of the ordinary with this find, you just happened to sniff them out. (+1 mushroom)

	Another group of woodland creatures - or perhaps the same group - appeared once more with a handful of mushrooms. This time, Vasilissa bowed deeply as she accepted them. "Thank you very much for your help," she said with a smile before putting them away safely. Mushrooms: 4 Some of the woodland creatures got curious at the soquili traipsing through their home. You seem to be making an awful lot of noise and they want you gone asap! They brought you some mushrooms to help speed the process along. (+3 mushrooms)

	The original group of woodland creatures was, once again, not as forgiving. The same tactic as before, only this time as the trio fled, they left one of their mushrooms behind. Mushrooms: 7 Seems like another group of woodland creatures doesn't like you stealing their mushrooms. They perform an elaborate trick of death defying skill while another pilfers your sack! (-1 mushroom)

	The group were too busy taking in the sights of the woods around them and chatting amongst each other to notice the thicket of brambles until they had walked through it. Though it hurt, it wasn't as painful as losing a couple mushrooms when a hole tore into the side of the bag. Mushrooms: 6 You seem to have stumbled into a large thicket of brambles. It takes you some time to pull all the thorns out of your sides and it seems as though they tore a hole in your sack and you lost some mushrooms. (-2 mushrooms)

	Vasilissa managed to find this mushroom on her own. Rosa, however, insisted on collecting it so that Vasilissa wouldn't dirty her face in the mud. The mare wasn't anywhere near that level of high maintenance, but she knew there was no telling the hummingbird otherwise. Mushrooms: 4 Nothing out of the ordinary with this find, you just happened to sniff them out. (+1 mushroom)

	Another slimy mushroom, this time Rosa tested it. None of them knew why they expected it to be any different and Rosa awoke some time later, groggy and unable to fly but alive none the less. 	This time Vasilissa ate the mushroom. Was it out of solidarity or stupidity? If she knew the answer, it was forgotten the moment the mushroom hit her stomach. She awoke later with a terrible headache and fewer mushrooms. Mushrooms: 2 This mushroom is a little slimy and you're not entirely sure if that's a good thing or not. 	Vasilissa was beginning to lose hope. Whatever mushrooms they collected, misfortune - or forest creatures - took them away. Then, like a shining beacon of hope, they saw it consecutively. A pile of mushrooms, tucked away in a decaying log. The light filtered through the trees and shone down upon it, illuminating it in a heavenly glow. They moved carefully towards it and Rosa took on the delicate task of removing the mushrooms one by one, placing then gently in the satchel. Mushrooms: 0 In the remnants of a decaying log, you find the mother load. The largest mushrooms you've ever seen! And even more lucky, you remember these mushrooms and know they're good to eat! (+5 mushrooms)
