“You know, with temperatures comfortably in the 70s, the Mexican capital is the place to be this season. Now this… this is perfect weather for a barbeque!” A match was then flicked into an open grill pit, flames bursting from coals.  “Those open flames are the only real way to cook.” The camera zoomed in on the grill before some meat was suddenly thrown onto the grill. It was a snake! The carcass of the serpent squirmed as the flesh met with flame.

“This fella should have stayed in its own yard and kept his 2 cents to himself.” A pair of tong quickly caught the squirming meat before it crawled off the grill. “Funny thing about snakes, they never quite learn their place on the food chain until it’s too late. But with such little food, they’re hardly worth my time!” Setting the tongs down, the hand reached for a bottle of tequila, lightly dousing the corpse.

“In fact, it seems lately, a lot of people don’t seem to understand the links in the food chain. “Snakes… dragons, queens, tigers, hell even the English, it doesn’t matter because it’s all just meat when the predator is big enough.” The voice paused as the tequila was lifted up once again. This time the Mexican beverage was enjoyed by the speaker. “Ahhh! Everyone wants that nice tasty spot on the top link of the food chain, but that spot will only ever be reserved for the true King of Beasts!”

When the serpent finally turned to a golden-brown with scorched marks of black trailing over its broken body, the tongs retrieved the body. The camera followed as the carcass was slowly lifted up to a bearded jawline. “Maybe… maybe it’s time to come home. I'm getting hungry!” Teeth then bit into the flesh of the dead snake as the camera slowly faded.
