ENID's OWLs
Core Classes
Astronomy : A
- Stars were stars to Enid. They weren’t a big thing that she needed to know.
She took what she needed to know and retained enough to at least pass with an Acceptable grade.
A pass was a pass and that’s really all that mattered to Enid.
Charms : E
- Enid didn’t want to get a low grade in Charms. Her mother was friends of her professor’s sister after all.
Studying hard, she managed to Exceed Expectations. Luckily the spell work was never a huge challenge for her.
Defence Against the Dark Arts : O
- Though Enid still feared vampires she didn’t let her fear totally control her.
Realizing that not all vampires are bad she strove to do well in defence so should could defend against those who were a threat.
Doing well during both parts of her exam, Enid was happy to get an Outstanding overall.
Herbology : A
- Enid was average when it came to working with plants. She didn’t fear her professor despite him being her head of house.
Doing alright practically with the plants they were working with and studying enough to get by on her written exam, she ended the year with an Acceptable grade.
Not bad for someone who didn’t plan on having a career with plants.
History of Magic : E
- Enid always had an interest in stories. Although history didn’t exactly could as her kind of story she still wanted to do well.
As such she studied hard for her OWL where she Exceeded Expectations.
Planning on continuing it into her NEWTs like her mother, she was looking forward to it.
Potions : E
- After what Enid did in her fourth year, she played a lot of catch up.
Having to prove to not only her mother but her professor that she could make up for lost ground.
With a lot of hard work Enid managed to Exceed Expectations securing her the chance to take the NEWT level exam.
Transfiguration : A
- Enid was never a fan of transfiguring animals. Nor was she a fan of making a young feline disappear.
As such she made up for her lack of a decent practical with her memorization during the written portion of the exam.
Getting an Acceptable grade on her OWL, Enid knew she didn’t get the grade to continue but wasn’t concerned as she wasn’t a fan of the class anyway.
Electives
Care of Magical Creatures : O
- Enid liked working with magical creatures. They were interesting and unique.
Course they weren’t as scary as some creatures she knew about. Studying hard she managed an Outstanding grade for which she was delighted.
Cursebreaking : A
- Cursebreaking started off interesting but then trickled off into the sea of classes Enid was taking.
As such she studied only as much as she had to in order to pass. Leaving her with an Acceptable grade she had no complaints about getting out of the class.
Divination : O
- Enid found divination surprisingly easily. Though she had little idea about it at first, she grew to understand more and more.
With quite a bit of studying she managed to obtain and Outstanding grade. She couldn’t be happier.
Ghoul and Ghost Studies : A
- Ghosts were an average interest for Enid. As such it was no surprise that she got an Acceptable grade for her study efforts.
Had she applied herself more for the exam she probably would have received higher.
Muggle Studies : E
- Muggle Studies wasn’t hard to comprehend. Enid in fact found it easy enough to figure out the muggle world.
Obtaining an Exceeding Expectations, she managed to get an above average grade.
She had zero complaints about it as she expected to only get an Acceptable grade. Luckily her studying in the subject payed off.
Mythology : O
- Enid loved Mythology. It was one of her best classes and one of her most enjoyed. Learning about legends and myths, the stories were compelling.
She found it easy to remember most points of interest surrounding them. Getting an Outstanding grade, she looked forward to continuing the course.
