Private rp between these two who walk the path of carrying the lanterns

Night fell across the land covering the landscape shadows and tones of blue where the moon and starlight reached to touch just the surface of shapes. For many this was the time to retire, but for one bright little flutter his day had just begun. Moon lit prepped his lanterns for the nights walk, a walk of which he took every night one he would continue to take till he took his last breath on the last step. He checked the condition of each lamp, lit them then placed them on his body in their normal fashion. He saved his favorite for last which was the one he placed in his teeth and with a contented sigh Moon took his first step of the night. Rather like a monk with a thurible he swung his lantern from side to side on occasion to ring a sound of a bell that was placed beneath the decorations of his lamp. Moon was ever devoted to his task hopefully on this night he could bring peace or an uplifting light in the darkness to some soul that may be in need of it.
