The weirdos got distracted finally. Pinkalani flew through the air, landing on all fours. She scampered under the table and peered out at all the Pae'il acting more strangely than normal. The tikicat was contemplating how to drag that roasted harpy down there with her.

The deed was done. Asterion was eager to return to the Underworld. This place was too warm and bright; the minotaur squinted to block out all the pink. Why was he even here? Normally, Lady Persephone would drop off the usurping courtesan. This year, however, she stated she had important business to attend to before dropping Adonis off with Asterion. It made him angry. SO ANGRY. Asterion growled just thinking about it. He could not deny his mistress however. So here he was. At least Adonis was elsewhere now instead of trying to make friends.

That incessant chatter was, however, replaced with the general roar of a social gathering. What was worse, that whore Venus had her entire litter out and about messing with Pae'il's emotions. Asterion stamped once hard, breaking the marble beneath his foot. Oops. When an attendant looked toward him he snarled. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Time to leave! Asterion could see the door and became ever fixated on it. His head tilted downward, and rather like a bull he gained speed as he approached, completely disregarding anyone in his way. Had he not been blinded by all the pink and froufrou, he may have noticed a little pink and yellow fauny in his warpath.

Mala followed Ikk's pointing finger with his eyes, landing on the banner and the group of teens congregating there. Intrigued, he popped another hors d'oeuvre into his mouth then motioned with his hand for his brother to follow.

Moving through the crowd much more carefully this time around, he arrived at what was obviously a sign-up booth for a game. "'Date my Mom', huh?" he said aloud then added in an aside to Ikkarus. "This could be entertaining. Oh, but it starts really soon. Should we enter mom?" he asked, already reaching for the sheet.

Sweet. That's the setup. Do you wanna pick up like it's after the game?

The moment her eyes left his, Beltan felt a little bit bereft and watched her looking around with a sappy, glazed over sort of look on his face. "Yeah, birds. Like the little ones that sit in trees and stuff," he explained airily, "They're always twittering like they're really happy about something."

When she turned back to him, Beltan noticed a clear shift in her expression and felt himself blushing for probably the first time since he was very young. "I don't sing," he told her, but he had the strong urge to give it a shot if it would impress her. Dense even when clear-headed, he did not pick up on the innuendo. Plus, the way she was circling and touching him wasn't helping, making him feel both vaguely threatened and oddly faint.

Blindsided, Midoriko suddenly found herself in a standing full nelson, another pae's arms looped under her own and their hands pressed to the back of her neck. But she'd raised two boys and had, on occasion, employed this exact move herself.

Without warning, she went limp and slipped out of the hold, dropping to her knees in front of her attacker. Then, quick as a snake, she spun on her knees and locked her arms around the pae's legs, hoping to strike them off balance. "Do I know you?!" she shouted indignantly, looking up and noting that the strange pae was another female. Damn, this probably won't knock her down. She's pretty, though. But much too forward.

Selich had hemmed and hawed considerably over whether or not he should attend this Venus Day celebration. At the last one, he'd met a lovely angel and they'd shared a nice picnic on the beach. But, at some point in the evening (the details of which had grown quite fuzzy in the meantime), he'd lost track of her and never seen her again.

He'd thought about her a lot, but he wasn't even certain he remembered her name right. So, he couldn't reasonably expect her to have thought anything about him. With that gloomy thought in mind, he'd decided to go anyway. Maybe the festive air would improve his mood.

Sticking out a bit with his lack of 'normal' pae features like wings or tail, he still managed not to create too much of a stir with his entrance, keeping to the sidelines and edging toward the food and drinks. Almost immediately, he spotted the purple angel... wrapped up with a green demoness. This was a terrible idea he thought, starting to turn away. But, at that moment, the green demon shouted and he realized that something was amiss. Rooted to the spot in indecision, he wondered if he should intervene.

Kelebek almost didn't notice Hjortur's delay in joining her in the water, since she was so preoccupied with becoming clean again. Almost. She quirked an eyebrow at him as he descended and folded her arms over her chest, fixing him with a Look.

All annoyance melted away, however, at his embrace, as was often the case. She closed her eyes and relaxed into him. "Mm, now I am," she responded with a little half-giggle.

After a moment, she opened her eyes and peered around. "I wonder where our chaperon got off to."

This was going great! A rush of adrenaline was going through the young Demi as he watched the party start really getting into full swing. Mother was surely going to praise him after all of this. Wait, no. He wasn't doing this for praise, he was doing this to make his grandmother's party a success. Of course.

Two arrows notched, he'd planned on giving another pair a nice bit of energy before someone unexpectedly hit him from behind. Rather than his targets, they were sent flying off towards one of his grandmother's birds and a faun. Oops?

Well look at that, Haku Jo and Lillibeth have been hit with Thalia's Celebration arrows! Get ready to move those tushies, cause the itch to dance with that special someone isn't about to dissipate anytime soon. Probably.

Satisfied with his handiwork, Iordanes scanned the crowd for another target.

He selected a silver-haired winged female who'd been stationed near the food table all evening. Perhaps this would give her something else to focus on! What an attractive male she'd make.

He notched an arrow and let it fly.

Seren has been hit by Iordanes' gender-bending arrow! She's been turned into a male for the duration of the party--or until hit by another arrow. Have fun!

Euphrosyne loved Mother's celebrations! So many beautiful, happy Pae in one place! And it was her and her siblings' responsibility to make sure they were having a good time! She noticed that arrows were already flying, which was such fun! but her first order of business was to make sure everything was in order with the wine service.

She took a glass from a cherub and tasted it. A warm smile spread across her face. Perfect! She nodded her approval to the cherub, who went on its way. Euphrosyne finished the glass and set it down on the table for used dishes before scanning the crowd. Who could use a shot of sunshine?

Oh! Euphrosyne noticed a pair of femmes enjoying cocktails, standing near Shansa. She was getting sort of an...awkward, unsure vibe from them. Her arrows would make a welcome addition to their mood! Added to the alcohol, surely they'd have more courage with each other. She aimed and shot, first for the lavender-colored cat-demon with wild hair, then for the dark blue, speckled demon. She waited for a moment for the arrows to take effect, then slipped over to Shansa, waited for her to finish helping the party-goer, then nudged shoulders with her. "Isn't this fun??" She said excitedly, wrinkling her nose with glee.

Haku had been adjuting the leaves on his plant when something hit the back of knee and knocked him down. But when he looked, nothing was there. Grumbling to himself, he got back up and checked on his flower. The flower was fine.

But as the music started playing, (where was it coming from?), he couldnt resist. The samba had caught him. Leaving his flower (le gasp!) He sauntered out into the crowd and begam shaking his little furry rump to the imaginary beat of the drum.

"Lillibeth!!!!!" He holllerd, his hands clapping out a beat. "Dance with me!!!" He was making a scene and didnt even care. He needed to waltz with his yellow penguin of doom.

"Mother? Why is there a fail screaming you name?" Hibiscus asked.

Whew, that'd been a close one.

Hjortur had been certain that he was about to get 'the look,' something he very much didn't want to receive in this sort of situation. He never meant any of his teasing to be mean, but she was just so cute when she was flustered! Not that he'd stand for anyone else doing the same to her, no, that'd put him in an outright protective mood.

Good thing she was feeling better now.

At her question, he glanced up to the surface; if their lovely watchdog was still on duty, he'd probably have joined them under the water by this point. Since he had not yet... Hjortur responded in the driest and most monotone voice he could.

"Operation "Ditch the Tryhard" - Success"

He paused a moment to laugh before answering her in his regular tone. "I'd imagine he's probably letting loose a little himself by this point. No naiad can escape the effects these parties have."

The younger grace smiled as her sister bumped her shoulder, it was nice to hang out with the older siblings, mostly she just saw the other younger graces. "Yes it's quite fun" She agreed.

"I finally get to try shooting an arrow! Iordanes gave me some of theirs to try~" She grinned mischievously as she pulled out her bow and looked for a good target.

Ah there was a mortal with pretty space hair, she would be a fun target! of course you have to hit both in the couple so naturally she'd have to hit the weird black fauny? with holes in her.

The young grace pulled back the string of the bow took aim and let loose the arrows. Success!!

"I did it!" She cheered happily to Euphrosyne.

Laz giggled as she was close to Shah, she was so pretty and she made such good drinks. Laz jumped when she felt a p***k and suddenly felt even happier, ahhh being with Shah was the best~<3

She giggled as Shah joked about running out of compliments for her "Nooo you're the pretty lady~"

Hearing a guy asking about drinks she leaned on him and grinned "You should try this one! Its so sweet. It's a Sweetheart! and it was made by my sweetheart~" she giggled at that and returned to Shah.

"Hmm where ever you want pretty lady" Laz giggled again

Enfys began walking towards the games, glancing over at Beatrice with some confusion about his mom wanting him to get with someone. "You mean like... Romantically?" He asked, "Sounds like your mom would be the opposite of my dad..." The male thought out loud, thinking at how his dad's biggest concern with them going might be the romantic sort of involvement that had come out of last year's party.

He laughed out loud, at the suggestion of making out in the closet games. "Haha, I don't think so from the looks of it, but that might be kind of fun if we found some girls our age." Enfys thought, "But we can look for a card game for now."

Areus loaded up his bow and took another shot, aiming at the same couple he had already shot. It was always so funny when he hit the same cherub multiple times, and made them look like a porcupine, the cherubs didn't find it as funny.

Kleta watched her son carefully, "Oh, that will do no good, Areus. They cannot see the arrows, and it will not make the effect stronger, why don't you try shooting someone else," Kleta instructed, taking pause. "Or perhaps you can go find your cousin and take in some practice down below, you have all night to enjoy the party." The goddess suggested, then she would have a chance to talk to her sister alone as well.

A flash of familiar golden yellow had caught Fluttershy's attention moments before the similar chaos from last year had erupted. Pae began flinging themselves at each other or flying off across rooms in what the fauny could only imagine as something having plagued the food. Perhaps that's why she had that sudden weird sensation last time...

But all the cute critters...oh and her prince charming...

Another flash of yellow and pink caught her attention and she smiled. She had opened her mouth to call out for her son Dovesong when the sound of stomping, tiles cracking and snorting seemed to come full speed towards her like some kind of massive monstrosityyyeeeeEEEEEEEOHCELESTIAITWAS.

Throwing her hands up over her face as her only means of defense, Fluttershy stood frozen in the large, red beasts oncoming war rampage. Her mouth opened wide but instead of her usual quiet tone, instead out slipped a mildly frightened "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Parker had just opened his mouth to say he had caught a glimpse of a familiar blue when his brother did the same thing. Only his brother full on proceeded to tug him in the same direction at a mad wild pace. "Whoa wait wait slow down I'm coming Pete!"

Parker dodged his way around several pae following his brother, and even past a rampaging, massively buff faun as well, all in order to reach the so called fountain Pete had pointed at. Pausing to take a breath, Parker pulled on his brother's arm to get him to stop a moment. "Let me catch my breath. Besides, did you see that? That yellow pae is about to get squashed! I think if were not careful, we will too. Or worse dude." he paused and sucked down a gulp of air before calming himself.

Seeming to echo his brother's thoughts from before, he simply stated.

"Grandma."

One last arrow, let loose she hit another water looking creature. Clearly she and Kleta needed to spend more time together. Sighing more frustrated then anything she took notice that another of the triplets was firing arrows. It was an idea, give her sister a chance to have fun with the arrows for a little bit. Still livens up the party for Mother and she'll have time with Tristen.

Plan in place, the Goddess of Harmony approached Serenity handing her a bow with a few arrows, "You've worked hard, go have some fun. Just aim and shoot. Only one rule." Raising up one finger to make her point more clear, "Just don't hit me or my Champion." Letting that sit a moment, her smile bloomed back and she patted her sister's cheek, "Have fun, help the mortals feel harmony and love." This would be easy, and allow Serenity to try out arrows. Those were a special item with wonderful powers. So long as they weren't aimed at her.

With that completed, she rejoined Tristen with two drinks in hand.

Datum will see little birds and critters, feeling special harmony. The first pae they see will be their Prince Charming.

The issue with the puffball seemed to work itself out. Her daughter screeching like a bellbird. Oh this was embarrassing.The moment hit her with horror that Mayu probably thought that of herself every year. Well not this year, she was above the crowd and ignoring the groudcover. That was until she felt something, hard to point what it was, felt like a bug bit her.

Dancing bug given her tail feathers moving. Haku was going to continue to make a fool out of the both of them shouting like that. Time take desperate measures. "Hibiscus, ignore the troll I'll get him out of here. Be a turtledove and retrieve your sister, will you? Bless her little heart."

Landing gracefully, Lillibeth stood behind the clingy wet moss. She needed to dance, needed! However, that didn't mean it had to be where she could embarrass her self further.

Tapping his shoulder she challenged, "Show me what you have.." Then she used her wings to pull back. Get him away from the crowd and she might just survive this night un-mused

The alcohol was hitting her date hard and fast, like a speeding truck in an isekai anime. Turned out Laz was a one-shot wonder.

But given how absolutely adorable this was, she couldn't hardly complain. In fact, she may have been making more than a few mental notes about her tolerance level and which ingredients she'd used to get her this way; for harmless reasons, of course. She clearly wasn't planning on buying some of it later so she could have a giggly and cute Laz whenever she wanted when she returned home. Course not. She would never.

A small p***k in the neck might as well have been an injection of liquid endorphins; just looking at her date just caused her heart to flutter and a silly smile to form on her lips. "No, you're the pretty lady~" This had been a great idea; why had she been avoiding these things again when they were so much fun? They should do this sort of thing more often! "Woah there~! She let out a little exclamation as her very tipsy turnip made her way towards someone else and back, a giggle escaping from her lips - didn't know she could giggle like that - as she wrapped one arm around Laz's shoulder and used the other to bring her drinks to her lips once more.

With an uncharacteristic flourish that she thought Laz might find humorous, she squeezed her shoulder before pointing forward on the dance floor with her drink-hand. "Let us be off this way!" Turning her head to look back at the three - when had that yellow one arrived? - that they were leaving, the arm resting on Laz's shoulder raised up and offered a wave. "Toodles~"
