+ Life and Tradition
Species: Hares Only!
Daily Life: Most of the time, everyone does as they please. Most of the days are spent in leisure, though the colony comes together to eat meals or spend time with one another.
Family: While kits usually stay with their parents, the whole colony is responsible for watching any kits that are born as if they were their own. Mated pairs tend to stick together, however, and flings are not incredibly common.
Ham-chat: You're not required to use it at all! But here's a list of words for reference: Hamchat Dictionary
+ Festivals
New Year: The New Year is celebrated with a feast and is marked by the first rain on a warm day. To celebrate, the whole colony comes together and plants sunflower seeds into the ground as the water softens the ground.
Spring: Marked by the first flowers opening from the New Year Celebration. Spring is an important time of the year, as it signifies new life and hope for the new year.
Harvest: As the flowers mature, they produce seeds that can be stored when food becomes scarce. This festival can last a few weeks as the seeds are harvested and stored in some of the Clubhouse storage.
Yule: After the Harvest Season is over, the whole colony comes together to celebrate. They speak of the year that has passed thus far, and celebrate with a feast.
