	Seraphim looked around himself, his silver-blue eyes full of confusion. He had only just arrived in the Kawani lands and he was pretty sure he was already lost. Not that he was going to admit it to anyone. It appeared as if no one was around for him to tell even if he was so inclined. Shrugging to himself he picked a random direction and started walking. He continued to walk aimlessly, taking care were he stepped the last thing he needed was to get a thorn in one of his paws, until he came to a dirt path. The path was smooth and free of debris. Having no better ideas as to were to go he decided to follow it. Paths usually lead to other soquili after all, it was only natural to follow it.

	Greymalkin lay curled up on a small overhanging rock, relaxing in the sun, her tail flickering up and down. She positioned herself, as she always did, with her good eye to the most exposed side of her, because it was easier to be sure when someone was coming or not, for her own safety. It always paid to be careful, after all. She also listened, using her catlike ears to track the sounds of the lands around her. When she heard the sounds of mismatched feet... And she could tell it was one being with that, because of the sounds of the stride, and the way two steps were soft, like her own paws to a degree, but another had a louder click, as of claws hitting the dirt. Her head lifted curiously, as she waited to see who was coming her way. When a pale stallion approached, she tilted her head at him, curiously. There was a moment of silence, then she said "Hello there."

	At the sound of the voice Seraphim puffed up startled, his heart racing. He now appeared as if he was a ball of feathers. Looking around his eyes landed on the female. Embarrassed he gave himself a shake in an attempt to smooth out his feathers. They were still a bit of a mess and would require preening later but the prideful gryphon refused to think about it while in the presence of another and acted as if everything was normal. "Hello, Beautiful," he finally replied once his heart stopped racing and he was sure he would sound normal. He couldn't believe he had let his guard down so much in an unfamiliar land. If his master was here he would be getting a good scolding. While waiting to see how she would react he casually looked her over, cataloging the information. Feline in nature with paws instead of hooves, increased danger level. She didn't appear to be hostile, slight decrease to danger level. And there was also the fact she was rather pretty. Conclusion stay on guard but no need to retreat. At least not yet.
