_-_-_Currency System
-_-_-_-Acquiring Ryo.

Ryo (両), the currency that stretches across the Naruto Universe, is just that: a simple and common form of money. A single Ryo coin is an extremely thin and small flat of gold. Ryo will be rewarded to those ninja who complete missions. The amount of Ryo one obtains depends on the rank of the mission, and will be listed below in a simple chart.

-_-_-_-_-[ Cataloging ]
IMPORTANT: You cannot add Ryo to your profile until you have reported a complete mission in the [ Mission Catalog ].

_-_-_Advancement System
-_-_-_-Acquiring Advancement Credit.

Advancement Credit, or AC, are points that can be accumulated through battles and completed missions in order to "level up" your roleplay character. The other method to level up your character would be the Chuunin Examinations, but because these are not always active or present, the AC System was developed to allow for a character to become stronger, even if they have not reached titles beyond Genin.

-_-_-_-_-[ Cataloging ]
IMPORTANT: Like with Ryo, you must check into the [ Mission Catalog ] after completing a mission or fight in order to claim any Advancement Credit.

-_-_-_-_-[ Level Up Markers ]
When you reach the number indicated, and you have proven via the Mission Catalog that you have that number of credits, your roleplay character is allowed to step up to that Body Rank. Each village has its own requirements for receiving different titles, so it's possible a character could have 50,000 AC and remain a Genin. Since titles dictate what techniques are available to you (in most cases), it's in your best interest to raise both your Body and Title Ranks. AC cannot be lost, but titles can.

Advancement Qualifications:
___• C-Rank: 5,000 credits.
___• B-Rank: 20,000 credits.
___• A-Rank: 50,000 credits.
___• S-Rank: 100,000 credits.
___• S+Rank: 200,000 credits.

-_-_-_-_-[ Fight Credits ]
Whenever you battle with someone, whether you win or lose, you are still training yourself in some way. Fighting and winning against an opponent awards AC as a mission of their Body Rank; losing awards half (if you're still alive).

-_-_-_-_-[ Spar Credits ]
As one would expect, when you are truly fighting someone you are obviously getting more out of the experience. Thus, whenever you obtain credit from sparring with someone, you will receive a different amount of AC because it's simply a different experience. Sparring grants half the AC of a mission of your Body Rank (rather than your opponent's Body Rank).
• Note: A Shinobi only gains Spar AC when sparring with someone within one rank of their own body rank. (Ex. A B-Rank shinobi will not be rewarded AC when sparring with a D-Rank, and vice-versa.)

Rogues' Ranks & Systems
I'm here, there, everywhere, and nowhere!

User Image
Official Description:
_-_-_Missing-nin {抜け忍, nukenin; English TV "Rogue Ninja"; Literally meaning "runaway shinobi"} are ninja who left their village without the intention of returning and severing ties with the said village, often because they have committed criminal acts or to pursue other personal gains. The ninja village that they are from will often try to track them down and eliminate them. Several missing-nin do not stop wearing their forehead protector, while others may discard them. Some who do retain their headbands carve long, horizontal scratches across the symbol, to show they have rescinded their allegiances and rejected their villages. Wanderers ( トレッカー, Torekkā: Literally meaning 'Trekker') are civilians of the different lands, who unlike shinobi are not generally warriors, nor are their allegiances ever really infinite. The most notable of these people are generally skilled workers, some are even just roving warriors who never joined into the Shinobi villages.

Guild Description:
_-_-_Rogues (nuke-nin) are no longer affiliated with a particular Shinobi Village, have long been misrepresented, and this new system is designed fully to address that fact. The life of a Shinobi has long been ensured, as the standing nations have long fallen back on them for support and just as long have they entrusted them with their many secrets. Yet throughout the ages some shinobi turn their backs on their vows, abandoning their homelands, creed, and their teachings. Rogue Shinobi are rarely welcomed again into the village from which they have turned and are viewed as suspect by the remaining villages. As such they have been forced to take shelter where it was available to them. Many whispered to have taken up residence in a place known as Gimangakure.
_-_-_Wanderers too, like Rogues, are viewed with suspicion in the Shinobi Nations. Largely this is due to the unknown and potentially shifting nature of their allegiances. To the rest of the world they are simple merchants, craftsmen, occasionally a ronin or some form of wandering warrior from outside of the Nations. To the Shinobi Nations these individuals are categorized by their individual prowess and their innate skills, just as most Rogues are.

Mission Access:
_-_-_While a rogue or wanderer may not be able to find work in the Hidden Villages without special exception, often times much of the available work [ D-C Rank Missions ] in shinobi villages is also available for workers in the villages of Takumi, or Sasagi City. Either may be handed out through shop owners in need of assistance or the mayoral office itself. [via any mod] There also arises special work for those who seek more of a challenge, but be forewarned of the dangers! For such missions, it is wisest to seek out the Mayor, one of his staffers, a Mafia boss, or the Rogue Head (Magnus). In cases of Crafting, Takumi will accept all missions without the need for Moderator interference.

Body & Title Ranks:
_-_-_Renounced of the Shinobi ways, nuke-nin and wanderers are no longer adherents to the Advancements of National Shinobi, but are still able to claim their own kinds of titles, if they so wish. When you first go Rogue, you are denoted as Rogue until such a time as you meet the next Rank Criteria. This does not apply if you begin as a Rogue, to which you'll begin as a [Vagabond]. Body Ranks' A.C. requirements will still follow the normal structure, but any wanted Title Ranks will require 1.25x the normal amounts, and is now labelled as 'Public Fame/Infamy' on one's profile.

S p e c i f i c s
_-_-_It can't be all fun and games for the villages.
Level-up!
_-_-_< Personal >

Leveling up is automatic for rogues; no need to see a Kage for the personal body rank level to raise to the next rank. Attaining said body rank bestows the same abilities as those ranking up from within a village.

_-_-_< Public >

Underneath one's A.C. on their profile, please add a 'Public A.C.' line, which will denote one's Fame or Infamy. Fame and Infamy titles can jump back and forth as the rogue takes action, at one time being a Watarimono, the next, a Hizoku. Later on, the rogue will have access to missions which can lower their Public Fame/Infamy rank. The lower the Public Fame/Infamy level, the less they will be recognized, even through cosmetic disguises such as Henge no Jutsu. Public Fame/Infamy ranks decrease to the next lowest rank when the Public Infamy A.C. reduces past the rank in question. Example: Going from Kyouto to Sanzoku requires having less than 9,000 Public Fame/Infamy. A few missions which can help, when the rogue is allowed access to them, include altering a village's Bingo Books or through certain missions.

_-_-_< More Information >

Jumping back and forth between Wanderer and Rogue titles is as easy as having more (and same rank or higher) missions of said type, or where said type takes place. While not standard, those looking for more in-depth rp are encouraged to track each country's titles separately, rather than as one whole. As stated, this latter title bit is completely optional, but if it is taken, a single additional regulation is added: The lowest a country will recognize you by will be two ranks below your main mission performing's area. (ex. if doing many missions in one country, another country may only know rumors of you) One country may see you as their hero, another, their scourge.

Missions!
_-_-_< Takumi >

Since rogues don't have access to all the same missions that shinobi from within the villages do, they can pick up requests from the artisans of Takumi. Usually along the lines of apprentice smiths, tavern workers, dockwork and unloading, assisting the village guard, fisherman, or the marketplace will have some kind of request. Of note are Crafting missions, which Takumi will take in spades.

_-_-_< Giman >

Since rogues don't have access to the same missions that shinobi from within the villages do, they can pick up requests from the general populace. Usually bars, public bounty boards, backrooms of casinos, mafia houses, fighting arenas, or the black market will have some kind of request. Rogues in general are allowed access to any [ Open Mission ] underway within Mission City [ Otogakure ] through Interrupt Missions.

_-_-_< Mission City, Otogakure > [Feature unavailable until plot happens! Get to it, shinobi!]

[ Open Missions ] are not capable of being interfered with by others not already within the mission, except for rogues. Generally, Interrupt Missions allow for the rogue to assist the in-progress mission's antagonist or protagonist, wreck everyone's stuff, steal said goal, or a number of other tasks which will accomplish the Interrupt Mission. The rogue is also allowed to attempt Mission City missions alone or with others, if the others allow for it or an Interrupt Mission calls for it.

Learning Jutsu!
_-_-_< Formless, Tai, Buki, Bloodline, Clan, Custom >

These are allowed to be learned up to the normal limits per rank, with the exception of village specifc Tai and Buki [ see disclaimer ], without having to do anything else. Nuke-nin and Torekkā automatically gain a -1 to learning reductions to compensate for a lack of a training area, this does not stack with available reductions in Dojo or Academies. Each rank up while a rogue gives an additional -1 to a chosen field, and able to be gained only once. (using the optional A.C.'s separate village tracking is not applicable to each village; only one!)

_-_-_The Following Styles are considered as Village Secrets, and while their villages or opposed villages who have learned of them through years of infighting can learn them, rogues cannot without being taught by a shinobi who knows them, or gaining access to their style scroll.
    • Konohagakure no Taijutsu
    • Pi Qua Quan [ Sunagakure ]
    • Kirigakure Style - The Elegant Flow Of Water [ Kirigakure ]
    • Iwagakure no Taijutsu [ Iwagakure, Yukigakure, & Otogakure ]
    • Seven Swords Dance [ Kumogakure ]

_-_-_< Nin, Gen, Ku, Eisei, Fuuin >

These jutsu are not learnable unless certain circumstances apply. Usually, one has to force their way into a village to steal a few jutsu scrolls, or may be bought from certain sources. Jutsu can also be handed down orally by another, so long as the teacher personally knows the jutsu to be taught. E-ranked scrolls are palm sized, D-ranked are arm sized, C-ranked are torso sized, B-ranked are child sized, A-ranked are adult sized, S-ranked are room sized, and S+ranked are building sized, due to inherent puzzle like defenses.

Going Clean or Joining a Village?
_-_-_< Villages >

Rogues wanting to better their lives can join or rejoin a village. Joining a village means all sorts of things, like getting access to jutsu without fighting for it, getting easier missions, having protection from nuke-nin, et cetera. The downsides are they lose the -1 learning reduction, they can't interfere in any [ Open Mission ] Mission City missions, and their ability to access nuke-nin specific missions in Gimangakure is dropped.

        Civilians

-_-_-Civilians are noncombatant RPCs with none of the flair or responsibilities of shinobi. Their existence is more down-to-earth, often revolving around day-to-day interactions and any jobs they might have rather than training, combat, and subterfuge.
-_-_-TL;DR: Civilians are normal people. No high-powered combat, no jutsu, no bloodlines.

        Rules
    • Character Limits: You are not limited in the number of civilian characters you can have, but each one requires approval from the relevant Kage or moderator. Like normal, your characters can't do anything to benefit each other, but there's no restriction on having both civilian and shinobi RPCs in the same place.
    • Clans & Bloodlines: Civilians can be in a clan, but do not manifest any significant clan traits or bloodline abilities and thus cannot be used as fodder for implants or vectors to obtain clan knowledge.
    • Jobs: Civilians can hold jobs. They have a total of 16 job titles they can obtain, covering both smithing and non-smithing job types. Typically they will have one or two job types they earn a living in and a few hobbies on the side.
    • Advancement Credits: At the discretion of the relevant Kage or other authority, a civilian can earn AC by working for the government. This AC is purely for the sake of obtaining access to more restricted sections of villages, such as scroll libraries. Civilians with access to scrolls can teach from them, providing teaching bonuses.
    • Combat: Civilians have no combat training, elemental affinities, jutsu, body ranks, or classes. Their Chakra and Stamina pools are each 10 and cannot increase without undergoing shinobi training. Learning jutsu or undergoing any training missions requires the character first become a shinobi, rendering them not a civilian anymore.
    • Retirement: Shinobi can retire to live the life of a civilian. While retired, they cannot learn new techniques but can provide teaching bonuses as normal. Retired shinobi cannot participate in events without Kage or moderator approval and cannot participate in combat scenarios. A shinobi can come out of retirement with Kage or moderator approval.

Transplant System
Eyes, DNA, and those too lost to themselves

㊝ Basic Guidelines ㊝

㊝ Number of Transplants Performed : Five

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___Transplanting is the act of taking someone else's organs or DNA and using it for your own. Sometimes it is to save a life, for others it is to take it away from them. As such, people will be hunted down, while those that hunt will soon become prey. Tables will flip in frustration, and tears of blood will pour out onto the streets. Worlds away in other countries, mothers will be saved with needed blood, children will be able to walk once more, and the dying will see the light of day as they have never before seen it. To reiterate, implants are not recommended for those beginning their shinobi journey.

㊝ Organs [ Eyes, Lungs, Poison Glands, DNA, Et Cetera ] ㊝

㊝ Current Owners : Two

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___There are plenty of transplant stories based around eye snatching, poison gland stealing, and the adding ons of animal parts to create truly monstrous humanoids. In general, it takes a certain level of chakra to maintain an active transplant or use its jutsu abilities, while simply adding something on takes away that amount permanently. The active chakra level (for guild purposes) refers to either chakra or stamina.
Example: Kakashi has quite a lot of chakra, totaling 3320, and wants to implant the Sharingan that Obito gave to him. As their medical teammate performs the transfer, Kakashi loses 320 chakra off of his maximum, bringing it down to an even 3000. Later on, he starts his training regime, and ends up getting to the third tomoe stage and the first awoken stage for implants. Now in battle, Kakashi has used several gigantic jutsu, bringing his chakra down to 2320, and he's getting desperate. Activating his implanted Sharingan (to the first stage) and lifting his eye patch, he has spent 320 chakra. Hoo boy, Kakashi is mad! Using a whole bunch of chakra as the fight drags on, Kakashi's chakra drops below 1000, causing his implant to deactivate. Tired and beaten down, his teammates catch up to save him.

I m p l a n t S t a g e s:
___Dormant Stage [0]
The passive stage: This stage and its effects are always present. Accepting an implant into one's body requires permanently donating an amount of chakra. Recovery from the surgery also requires 10 posts of no training or fighting. Training for the 1st Awoken Stage cannot begin until that occurs. Requires a moderator to see that the implant is taking place, logically.
_Basic Effects:
• -320 off, spread between chakra and stamina pools as wished.
• The spread is unable to be altered unless the implant is first removed.

___Awoken Stage [1]
This is the first stage usage of the implant. This and all stages beyond it are activated / sustained stages. In addition to making use of the implant, the host will also gain certain characteristics which pertain to using it. DNA that is implanted will start to grow the original owner. Requires 10 posts of training to use this stage, as well as the below effects. The active chakra level includes any Sage Chakra gained from Sage Mode or Juin Seals, Demonic Chakra (like bijuu), stored chakra (like Akimichi or Aburame), or chakra gathered from sealed entities.
_Basic Effects:
• Sustain requirement: 1,000 minimum active (chakra + stamina) level. (not maximum amount)
• Allows ocular jutsu to be used at twice [2x] the chakra cost with half [1/2] the ability.
• Allows regular jutsu (which rely on said implant) to be used at twice [2x] the cost with half [1/2] the ability.
• No techniques carry over from the previous owner. (must train anew)
• Lungs, glands, etc, begin to apply their effects. (i.e. poison creation begins)
• Jutsu and abilities from transplanted organs still affect their new owner. (ex. not immune to poison produced)
• Implanted DNA causes a visual takeover, and is unusable.

___Awoken Stage [2]
This is the second stage usage of the implant. This and all stages beyond it are activated / sustained stages. In addition to making use of the implant, the host will also gain certain characteristics which pertain to using it. DNA that is implanted will stop the growth of the original owner. Requires 10 posts of training to use this stage, as well as the below effects. The active chakra level includes any Sage Chakra gained from Sage Mode or Juin Seals, Demonic Chakra (like bijuu), stored chakra (like Akimichi or Aburame), or chakra gathered from sealed enemies.
_Basic Effects:
• Sustain requirement: 2,000 minimum active (chakra + stamina) level. (not maximum amount)
• Allows ocular jutsu to be used at three-halves [1.5x] the chakra cost with ordinary ability.
• Allows regular jutsu (which rely on said implant) to be used at the three-halves [1.5x] the cost with ordinary ability.
• Lungs, glands, etc, apply their effects at a greater rate and ability. [1.5x] (i.e. poison creation enhances)
• Jutsu and abilities from transplanted organs still affect their new owner. (ex. not immune to poison produced)
• Implanted DNA stops the visual takeover, and is now entirely usable. (ex. using elemental kekkei genkai, personal attributes, etc)

___Awoken Stage [3]
This is the third and final stage usage of the implant. In addition to making use of the implant, the host will also permanently gain certain characteristics which pertain to using it, while losing many of their previous characteristics. DNA that is implanted will overcome the current owner, bringing out the original owner. Requires 5 posts of training to activate this final stage. This stage ultimately resets the character to a new, permanent position. Not able to be used if the Clan or Bloodline that you are turning into is full. The host's original body is then considered the 'implant', and the Awoken Stages are reset.
_Basic Effects:
• Allows ocular jutsu to be used at normal costs with ordinary ability.
• After activation, no techniques that were dependent on prior abilities carry over from the 'previous' owner. (i.e. the original rpc)
• Lungs, glands, etc, apply their effects at an even greater rate and ability. [2.0x] (i.e. poison creation enhances greatly)
• Organs transplanted take over the body, causing humans to become less humanoid in non-human transplants, and begin to act within the DNA rules.
• Jutsu and abilities from transplanted organs do not harmfully affect their new owner. (ex. immunity to poison produced)
• Implanted DNA takes over the individual, deleting most of the host's DNA.
(example: Shakuton originally & hosts Mokuton, gets to this level, turns into Mokuton, loses all Shakuton specific characteristics as it becomes the 'implant')
(example: Human originally & hosts a poison lizard sack, gets to this level, turns into a poison lizard, loses all human specific characteristics as it becomes the 'implant')
(example: Byakugan originally & hosts a Sharingan, gets to this level, turns into an Uchiha, loses all Byakugan specific abilities as it becomes the 'implant')
(example: Is a guy named John originally & hosts a terrifying little girl named Tsunade, gets to this level, turns into the terrifying little girl named Tsunade, loses all of John's specific abilities as it becomes the 'implant')

Special Ocular Rules:
___Sharingan
_Effects:
• Uchiha are born with a special attribute that negates the extra chakra cost for using Sharingan implants.
• Sharingan transplants going into non-Uchiha will cause the eye to permanently remain active. (Covering it will put it into the dormancy stage, aside from the sustain requirement)

___Byakugan
_Effects:
• The Byakugan is able to be activated and deactivated as normal, aside from the sustain requirement.

___Rinnegan
_Effects:
• Rinnegan that are transplanted after becoming one will cause the eye to permanently remain active. (Covering it will put it into the dormancy stage, aside from the sustain requirement)

___Sakkakugan
_Effects:
• Cannot use the Sakkakugan within 1 post before or after using taijutsu or bukijutsu, due to its inherent frailty.
• The Sakkakugan is able to be activated and deactivated as normal, aside from the sustain requirement.

___Kinmukugan
_Effects:
• The Kinmukugan is able to be activated and deactivated as normal, aside from the sustain requirement.
• Focus Point durations are halved, except for in-clan transplants.

Special Elemental Kekkei Genkai Rules:
___Enton: Blaze Release
_Effects:
• Can only be used during the 2nd Awoken Stage. See the Sharingan regulations for additional rules.

___Hyouton: Ice Release
_Effects:
• Can be used during the 1st Awoken Stage.

___Mokuton: Wood Release
_Effects:
• +160 to the maximum chakra.
_- or -
• -160 to the activation & sustain requirements.

___Jiton: Magnet Release
_Effects:
• Iron sand can be melted by fire techniques at least one [1] rank higher than them.
• 1 Jiton technique per post.

___Hatake Clan
_Effects:
• Those within the Hatake Clan can receive implants and use them for fifty percent [50%] less chakra.

___Shakuton: Scorch Release
_Effects:
• Not immune to dehydration effects, but techniques using them are considered one rank less in ability versus the host.

___Ranton: Storm Release
_Effects:
• Can be used during the 1st Awoken Stage.

___Bakuton: Explosion Release
_Effects:
• Physical Method users are not accustomed to absorbing close-range blasts.
• Clay Method users require one [1] extra post of preparation time on jutsus that require it.

___Futton: Boil Release
_Effects:
• The user can be hurt by their own boil jutsus.

___Yōton: Lava Release
_Effects:
• Slight resistance to heat stemming from one's own techniques.

___Kōton: Steel Release
_Effects:
• 3 limbs max.
• Requires ten [10] additional chakra for jutsu.

Students of the Shinobi Academy (in-village), or of the Shinobi Way of Living. (Wanderers and Rogues) This is an alternate starting rank which every shinobi is allowed to perform. Even established rpcs are allowed to post [Origin Story] tagged posts to go through this, which will be considered its own separate time and space. Rogues will have their own difficulties without a solid Academy to attend, or steady missions giver to assist, but this rank is still possible for them to hold.
You are fresh, able, and willing to begin your training to become a powerful ninja, and this is the way!

• After Induction Day, report to your academy's office for instructions.

Promoted to Jounin, huh? Congratulations!
You're now one of your village's elite. A strong, wise, and reliable shinobi who holds a good amount of the Village Leader's trust.
Although you yourself can still build on your strengths, you are to the point where those below you require your teaching.
Because of this, you will more than likely be chosen to be the head of a squad, or a sensei (teacher) altogether.
