▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Contentious Kagsenyammer began life as a victim of war, an orphaned nobody. Her status as an orphan repeated itself many time throughout her life. She was initially taken in by a kind elderly couple who found her in the forest. A ninja skirmish destroyed that home and led to slowly fatal injuries on the couple's part when dangerous gas was introduced to the area as part of the fight when she was five. The orphanage she was at was later raided and half the children kidnapped by the rogue organization looking for fresh and impressionable soldiers. At age seven, the stern military man who adopted her went off to war and was killed. The wife promptly unadopted her, unable to care for an extra mouth, and it wouldn't be until a year of living in the streets later that a chef adopted her for the sole purpose of child labor in his restaurant. It turned out the restaurant was a front for money laundering and when the chef tried to cash out and run, he was gunned down by a hail of shuriken in the broad daylight with no witnesses. Contentious Kags had been locked in her room during that time and wasn't found until the mafia came to search the premise.
Suffice to say she was adopted and orphaned about eight more times until she reached the age of 14 and was both no longer young and cute enough to attract kindly sympathy and wise enough to spot and depart from abusive families on her own. Around the age of 18, she met a strange, tall man who wore a mask of bone. When she informed him she had no family, he said he would adopt her into his clan. Contentious Kags did not realize how literal this was as the man later replaced one of her ribs with one of his own ribs in a heavily alcohol-and-opium fueled evening. It still hurt. Over time she found the DNA had rapidly taken hold of her, taking surprisingly little time to recover from her actual rib being removed and replaced, and soon developed abilities to use techniques of the Kaguya. She had literally become a member of that Bloodline, a "Stage 3 Implant" some might consider it.
When she learned how easily her body adapted to Bloodlines, she became more fascinated in them and decided she would look into other Bloodlines and families in search for a place of being.

Throwing it into the air, the orb expands once it reaches its apex and explodes in a shower of bone spikes. When used outside of the Cursed Seal Stage Two, these spikes number in the hundreds. With the Cursed Seal Stage Two activated, these spikes can number in the many thousands, up to tens of thousands. The spikes vary between three to four feet in length and can be picked up and used as weapons.

[ Dance of the Sandbur ] is a two-part ability. Using the sample principle as [ Sawarabi no Mai ], Contentious Kags can cause rapid and uncontrollable bone growth from any of her bones she infuses with chakra. This causes spikes to propagate from the bones proportional to the amount of chakra spent (the more chakra spent the bigger the spikes). The second part causes the spikes on the bone growth to forcefully propel themselves outward, potentially catching opponents off guard. There is a five-post window where the spikes can be launched after casting this ability.

This teaching is fundamental in matching versus other techniques in general, mastering this teaching leads to Simple and Complex techniques defeating matching Physical or Formless techniques.
Thread Walking Rank: C :: Training Description: By using Chakra to focus the mind, the user becomes able to balance enough on thin platforms to use Bukijutsu techniques without any penalties. Covers only balancing on solid structures at least one inch wide, not moving or unstable structures. Also allows the user to balance and move on wires during its activation. Advanced Thread Walking Rank: A :: Training Description: The user is now able to both run and fight while balancing on threads and wires without penalties, though doing these things at the same time is widely regarded as infeasible.
Offensive Style: Two-fer-One Rank: C :: Training Description: The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique from this Style without paying the cost. Trick Style: Blade’s Edge Rank: B :: Training Description: The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Additionally, some projectiles, such as shuriken or kunai, can be caught by their tip. Confers a slight increase to the user's reflexes. Trick Style: Retreating Feet Rank: B :: Training Description: The practitioner, already acquainted with many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. The practitioner's footsteps are rendered silent to all who do not have enhanced hearing, and the footsteps they leave in soft ground are shallow. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers. Offensive Style: Stepless Rank: A :: Training Description: The practitioner has become so used to performing quick and silent steps that they scarcely realize that they themselves are moving. The user's speed and reflexes are mildly boosted. Defensive Style: Plucking Roses Rank: S :: Training Description: The practitioner is so well developed in their art that they are now able to snatch shuriken, kunai, senbon, and other such projectiles straight from the air. This requires the user expend Stamina equivalent to one rank below the rank of the incoming projectile.

Skill: Multitasking Rank: C :: Training Description: While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost. Skill: Manipulation Rank: B :: Training Description: Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. Reduces the Stamina cost of bow-related Bukijutsu techniques (including Formless Styles) by 10 Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina. Skill: Adaptability Rank: A :: Training Description: For the most part, the style thus far has focused on techniques to be used while stationary. However, this leads to many problems when fighting alone in situations that demand frequent movement. During this training exercise, the practitioner is to practice all known techniques while running, jumping, and maneuvering across a battlefield. After mastery, the user can align shots even while running and jumping, allowing them to keep the bonuses of the last stance they entered even while moving.
True Belief Rank: S :: Training Description: The user has meditated and trained long enough in this monk art to understand how important true belief is. By understanding the power of the spirit over the mind, and the mind over the body, the user has increased their stamina by sheer will power alone, as well as increased their toughness and durability. Increases Stamina by +25 for every style mastered.
