So there seems to be a bug where we cannot make topics as announcements or stickies, they only appear as normal threads.

Or at least that is how it appears on my side. I've posted in the bugs forum but haven't gotten any conclusive help. I did get some feedback on what I thought was a bug and turns out I was just an idiot. But the stickies and announcements threads are a bug.
