[FIN] Naga'nna Lie, You're Strange [Zulf/Sheldon]

Zulfiqar was doing average naga things on an average day away from his fake clan's home in the Loka Nei Jungle. Things like killing birds and taking their feathers, or otherwise looking for shiny stones to gift to Twilight as he continued to ensure she would be his. Perhaps some practice climbing the trees with his tail, sharpening his claws against their wood, or training in changing his scales' color to match the forest landscape.

Typical naga things like that.

It was probably unusual there'd been limited sighting of the tainted snake in the jungle after all this time, but most didn't venture too deep here. It was similar to her homeland - to the Dragnid - in this sense. The jungle's conditions were treacherous, the animals similarly so, and that was actually a comfort to him. He never particularly gave any thought as to what he might do if he were spotted... Probably nothing really? Maybe intimidate them?

He wasn't thinking about these sorts of things as he lay in wait for a colorful bird to come within striking distance.

Sheldon sighed quite loudly as he writhed against himself in frustration. His coils churned over his own scales as he glanced about, nervous and impatient. Where was she? What was even taking so long? Why was she always doing this? A hiss escaped him as he curled back farther into what looked like the remains of a rather large and broken speckled egg.

His home away from home. The odd naga never went anywhere without it, part of the reason he was usually getting himself lost and away from Yayoi. Weren't they supposed to be working on their strange alliance? Had he been mistaken and she was really trying to get away from him?

Well whatever the case, she wasn't getting his egg.

Picking it up and attempting to hold it on his back as he awkwardly slithered along, Sheldon repeatedly let out several very loud, very frustrated sighs. Anyone with ears and half a brain would hear him from miles around.

Including possible new enemies....or friends. If anyone wanted to befriend this probably failure of a naga.

As one might suspect, the naga that was within a mile of the other naga's noises could, in fact, hear him. He'd just chosen to ignore him for a bit. Yeah, he didn't particularly enjoy having others in his territory, but he also gave so few ******** about it that he wasn't going to go bother them about it.

His eyes narrowed and a frown formed on his face as the noises managed to scare away the bird he was preparing to hunt.

With a click, he turned around and, periodically changing his scales to blend in better, angrily approached the other naga from behind.

Sheldon hadn't heard the other coming. At least not yet. Things inside the egg shell were muffled and with him moving and trying not to break any more of it created more noises inside the shell that echoed around his head.

Becoming tired, the strange male finally gave up and set the shell down, stopping to curl up inside it and take a breather. He writhed angrily again as he tried to huff and puff his anxiety away. He didn't like this place, at least not with out Yayoi at his side to help keep his shell safe. She was better at the fighting stuff than he was. "Yayooooiiiiiiuuuhhg." he said out loud, still not aware anyone else was here or creeping up behind him. "Where even are you." he grumped, folding his arms across his chest and sinking into a green noodle pile.

Nothing of significance passed in the time it took for Zulf to make visual contact of the loud annoyance, a glaring pair of eyes looking at the egg shell as she camouflaged into the nearby foliage. First off, what was with the egg? Why an egg? And why was it so big? So many questions, and all of them just served to irritate Zulf more and more.

"Hey!" he finally quipped from his hidden spot. "You're ******** up my hunt, so could you shut up or leave?"

A loud bump and rumble could be heard immediately in the egg as Sheldon both seemed to puff up and shrink at the same time. "WHOSE THERE?!" he hissed, the voice speaking to him clearly not the power green female he had been looking for. And what was this about hunting and needing to shut up or leave? "I will leave on my own time... w-w-whoever you are!" he said, leaning around one part of the egg shell to peek around until he spotted the tail of the other naga. Only slightly curious, he shifted to peek his head out more to eye the other male in full, glancing up and down at his pale tans and vibrant blue like greens.

Apparently Zulf had gotten so annoyed he'd let his camouflage slip. How great was that? His eyes were still narrowed as he scowled and returned with a hiss. "Yeah, I'm talking to YOU. GO. AWAY. OR. SHUT. UP. I could not give less of a ******** about which you do." He wasn't even really looking to hunt for meat, just for a nice trinket for Twilight to pretty herself with.

He grinned maliciously as he followed up, "Or hey, I could just break off a bit of your precious eggshell if you don't comply. It'd be real easy. I'm sure it'd look lovely worn by my female." As he finished his expression returned to a neutral one before he activated his ability once more to effectively disappear into the foliage.

Talking about breaking his egg shell was the one thing it took for Sheldon to decide that he didn't care about anything at all anymore. He hiked up his egg much like hiking up a skirt and hissed. "YOU NO TOUCH EGG!" he screamed before slithering a complete 360 and taking off in the other direction. Finding Yayoi was not so much the most important thing to him in this moment than it was to save his precious home. Several noises escaped him like a mix of a toddler and a snake all blended into one.

Though as he fled he let out a long mournful "YAAAAAYYYYYOOOOOIIIIIIIEEEEEUUUUUUUHHHHH HHHHAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLPPPP!"
