Personality: Contrary to the way his cousin acts and behaves, Yugure maintains a coald demeanor between complete and total strangers, but gradually opens up the more time he spends with them. When he does open up, he becomes more playful and flirtatious as he does. He is wholly free spirited and likes to playfully harass his cousin to see how big of a rise he can draw from her facade. As he grows more used to people and their limits, he will start behaving similarly with them too.

Yugure had a pretty nice life. His parents were often away, sure, but they told him stories about the places they had been to, and brought him back a souvenir. While they were away on their missions, they had often sent him over to his cousin's house. There, he'd watch the strict training Amarantha's mom put her through, watching from the sideline. Meran, as he took to calling his cousin, was never given anything from her mom, she had to work hard for it. This concept confused the boy, but he grew to accept that it was circumstance of parenthood. He grew close with his cousin, often poking fun at her, or instigating her to try and get a rise out of her. He found his best weapon against her, (before he grew taller than her) was to flirt with her, to fluster and confuse her. Before long, however, her father grew sick and Yugure's parents went on more missions, so they decided to rent out an apartment for the boy while he attended, and moved on to graduate from the academy. He was a practical jokester to the class, and his carefree attitude and laid back attitude was marked down in his file when he did graduate in Amarantha's class when she finally returned after dropping out for a while.
