CHELSEA's OWLs

Core Classes

Astronomy : A

Chelsea never saw Astronomy as one of those high up classes on her list. It was just one of many she had to take till fifth year.
She didn't plan on failing it however as her mother would have her head. Luckily she passed with an Acceptable grade.

Charms : E

Chelsea found magic to be interesting and although charms wasn't her strongest magic it wasn't her worst.
Surprising herself at first, with her studying she'd managed to do well enough to Exceed Expectations.

Defence Against the Dark Arts : O

Defence was definitely Chelsea's best magic course. She found it enlightening and strived to do well in the class.
By the time her exam was over she managed an Outstanding grade. Not even a boggart was going to stop her.

Herbology : A

Chelsea wasn't the most thrilled about plants but she needed the class. Herbology was just that how to take care of plants.
So she looked to them for guidance and her notes for some common sense. Squeaking by with an Acceptable grade she hoped to do better come her NEWT level.

History of Magic : A

History was honestly a complete bore. However, Chelsea knew her mother would have her head if she failed a class as simple as history.
Fighting her will to fall asleep, she managed to sneak by with an Acceptable grade.

Potions : E

Potions was not easy but it wasn't as hard as Chelsea had expected. In truth she surprised herself when her studies truly paid off.
Ending her fifth year Exceeding Expectations, the Gryffindor couldn't be more relieved. She needed potions if she was to become an auror.

Transfiguration : E

Chelsea had gotten pretty good at Transfigurations. It was a shock to her when she received less then an Outstanding on her OWL exam.
She'd assumed it had to do with her number of electives. Though she had Exceeded Expectations, she planned on doing better on her NEWTs.

Electives

Care of Magical Creatures : A

Chelsea enjoyed magical creatures as much as any one could. It was an interesting enough subject to hold her interest.
Studying through the rough patches she managed an Acceptable grade overall.

Cursebreaking : E

Cursebreaking was one of Chelsea's higher interest electives. She strove to do well in the subject during her years.
Walking away Exceeding Expectations she hoped to perhaps continue and do even better. It would certainly help in the long run she was sure.

Ghoul and Ghost Studies : A

Ghost Studies had in many ways turned into boredom. Chelsea couldn't take the lectures but found the ghouls and ghosts interesting enough to keep her going.
Ending the year with an Acceptable grade she felt she knew enough about ghosts that she didn't need to continue in the subject.

Healing : A

Chelsea wasn't the greatest with Healing magic. In fact it was probably her worst branch of magic. Only managing an Acceptable grade she at least knew she'd passed.
However, she hadn't managed enough to continue in the subject. At least she could say she knew the basics of healing in a pinch.

Muggle Studies : O

Muggle Studies was an absolute cake walk for Chelsea. Being muggleborn had its pluses.
Walking away with an Outstanding grade she had nothing to worry about there. Nothing like a free grade.

Wandless Magic : E

Chelsea had become rather good at wandless magic. She had good control and figured out how to make most spells work without the use of her wand.
Finding herself Exceeding Expectations she was proud and planned on continuing her training.

CHELSEA's NEWTs

Core Classes

Charms : E

Chelsea had no need to really worry about Charms. It wasn’t something she struggled with even though it was far from her highest grade in school.
With a decent amount of studying she found it easy enough to do. By the end she managed to Exceed Expectations and pass the class like she had intended.

Defence Against the Dark Arts : O

Defence had always been Chelsea bread and butter. She was rather good at the subject and didn’t let anything stop her at being good at it.
Finding herself in a peculiar situation, Chelsea found herself even more invested in her own well being.
Motherly instinct was kicking in. So it was no surprise that she got an Outstanding grade.

Herbology : A

Chelsea had wanted to do well in Herbology. She wanted the option to be an auror down the road. However, her mind wasn’t totally into her studies.
It was all over the place and as such she only managed an Acceptable grade. A pass but not the pass she needed to get into the profession she was looking at.

Potions : A

Potions was another one of those subjects that Chelsea needed in order to become an auror.
She had never been very good at brewing potions and it showed when she entered advanced level classes.
It was a miracle she had even managed to gain an Acceptable grade on her NEWT level exam.

Transfiguration : O

Transfigurations was one of Chelsea’s best subjects. Her grade on her OWL was a shocker and she’d planned on doing better in her advanced lessons.
Luckily despite her struggles in other classes she did managed to do just that. She excelled in transfiguration and obtained an Outstanding grade overall.

Electives

Care of Magical Creatures : A

Chelsea continued in Magical Creatures for the mild interest she had.
It wasn’t enough for her to put all the effort she could have into her studies. As such she only managed an Acceptable grade.

Cursebreaking : O

Chelsea put in a lot of work with regards to her Cursebreaking class. She’d wanted to do better than she had on the previous exam.
That was a tall order to fill but she managed it. Landing herself an Outstanding grade overall, she walked away with her head held high.

Muggle Studies : O

Muggle Studies was an easy O in Chelsea’s world. She could do the class with her eyes closed. Truthfully, she wondered why she even took the class.
It was so easy she probably could have forgone the lessons and walked straight into the exam. With that said it was no surprise that she got that easy Outstanding grade.

Wandless Magic : A

Chelsea had become rather good at wandless magic. However, it was her emotional imbalance and completely flustered thoughts that made it in effective.
She managed to keep her head above water for the exam, but she only managed to obtain an Acceptable grade. She was far from happy about it, knowing full well she could have done better.
